    How to improve the  load performance while using Datasources for the Invoice . Actually my invoice load (Appx. 0.4 M records) is taking very long time nearly ~16 to 18 hrs  to update data from R/3 to 0ASA_DS01.
    If I load through flat file it will load with in ~20 Min for the same amount of data.
    Please suggest how to improve load performance.
    PS: I have done the Inpo package settings as per the OSS note.

  • Getting error as "Error occurred during your search, contact your system administrator" while using talent search in portal (TREX)

         We are facing an issue like when our Talent specialist are trying to use talent search through their portal they are getting an error like "Error occurred during your search, contact your system administrator" as shown below.
         We have checked in our backend and for all the talent specialist search results are showing successfully.

    The XML iView uses server-side fetching, so if you are having problems with a regular URL iView in server-side fetching mode, so the problem with the XML iVIew probably has to do with the proxy settings.
    And since you got a 407 error, it seems there is an issue with proxy settings or the proxy server, as mentioned in this description of 407 error:
    The HTTP 407 code only applies to users who are accessing the Internet behind a proxy server. This is common in government and corporate workplaces. The 407 code indicates that your computer must first authenticate itself with your company's proxy server. Check with your IT department or computer support group as to the exact reason why you may be getting this error. It may be possible that the proxy server does not allow downloads of specific files (exe, cab, com). You can also verify that your proxy server settings are valid.
    I will check if I can find out any more specific info.

    Today I downloaded google earth and installed it on my system, while using the program my system stopped for the first time.
    As suggeted in the message I shut down the notebook and restarted after sometime, once again it shut down while google earth was running. The message displayed was;

    i see you have not mentioned your system specs?if your's is a new system or has direct x support or even(opengl) you may not have to these kinds of issues kindly post your system configuration to have further assesement regarding this matter

    responce time--985ms
    and no long running jobs and also buffers also fine
    in my system all things are fine
    now want to know to check how much network utilization required to my sap server?
    i have doubt in network utilization ....i need help in tis way only

    Is the DB on a separate server?  I ask because even a fairly slow public network (i.e. for SAPGUI) is unlikely to be a cause of major performance problems.  Note 'unlikely', not 'impossible'. If the DB is separated from CI and/or DI and that link is 100Mb/s, things can get nasty. 
    Slow performance is real tricky to solve blind. You say your system is fine and you mention SAP-level metrics.  How about other stuff?
    Paging rate
    CPU load averages
    Runaway processes at O/S level
    If Windows server, check for an antivirus program monitoring \usr\sap\.....
    Filesystem/volume access speeds
    System log messages (OS not SAP)

  • BEx System errors while using RSTT trace

    We are having several problems while using BEx SapGui NW 2004s SR1 Presentation - 6.40 Compilation 5 and SAP Netweaver 2004s BI AddOn Patch Level 801 (Bw700SP08P_801-10001615.exe). The system is and ABAP+Java implementation in Stack 7.
    For been able to trace problems in BI Planning we activate the RSTT trace for local BPS1 user (the one used in development). When activated, no BEx query cannot be opened, raising error "Overflow when converting from 389", so we cannot trace any issue.

  • Strange system pause while using OS X on Mac mini

    My Mac mini has always had a funny little problem. As you are working along, choosing menu commands and pressing buttons, the mini will make a sound like a sigh and stop responding for maybe a second or two. Then all is well and you're back to normal. This seems to happen randomly but regularly (fairly frequently). Any ideas or suggestions you might have would be appreciated. I'm not even quite sure how to phrase the question to search the support files.

    It seems to me to be likely that the noise and pause are related to system activity, thus your observation that it may seem to happen when you 'do something' is likely right. As such it will be interesting to know if MenuMeters shows an unusual rise in paging or CPU load when it occurs, or even if it seems related to network traffic.
    There is also a possibility that the symptoms are related to an underlying issue with MacOS on your system, so after following Daddy Paycheck's suggestion regarding checking your hard drive and then checking MenuMeters, I'd suggest a download of YASU (http://jimmitchell.org/projects/yasu/) and after quitting all other applications, setting to run all tasks. YASU is a basic set of utilities for doing routine maintenance on the system, notably repairing permissions (you'll likely have noticed that in Disk Utility as well) and updating Prebinding. Along with this it clears and trims log files and caches. All these are capable of causing symptoms of the sort you describe.
    As a precaution, you should backup all your data if you don't already routinely do so. Aside from the possibility that data could be disturbed by running such utilities (rare, but it happens) the symptoms you describe can also reflect the early onset of hard drive failure!

  • Backing Up Your System & Setting Configurations Using External Hard Drive.

    We just purchase A external hard drive to back up our system. I believe the product name Is "Lacie" Anyway, the question is what is the best way to set up to an external hard drive so that my computer runs @ it's best speed. Recently I found out that I had about 5GB of hard drive space on my computer and this is why we made the purchase. Now is it wise to install logic on the new external or keep it on my internal drive. Basically for the best possible performance how should I set up everything and transfer data where I can keep a great work flow.

    What's your goal? Do you want to back up your data or make a clone of your HD? These take two different approaches.
    A clone of your HD is an exact copy which can be used to restore your main HD in case of drive failure/data corruption/severe data loss. Do a search for "Carbon Copy Cloner" to do this.
    If you want to back up your data (Logic songs, etc.), use the HD just for this purpose and no other. And NEVER work on those backup copies. They're "safety" copies, not to be altered ever. If you need to work on a backup copy of a song, make a copy of the copy and work on that.
    To make backup of Logic songs easier, always save your songs as projects and simply backup the project folders. Makes life easy.

    First exception means that you tried to create a class with the package name equaling one from the predefined libraries in midp/cldc.
    For your second error, add all the jars you are using into the project's classpath.

  • Increase the Insert performance while using th e DBlink

    I am trying to insert 4 lacs records into a table by using the DB-Link.It is taking very long time ( 1hour) to insert the records,is there any other way where to increase the performance.
    This is my insert statement.

    There is little chance alter table your_table noparallel would help (if parallel keyword was specified at table creation)
    It seems you'll have to be more specific (I consider using parallelism as the last resort so consequently I don't have much experience)
    - is this a one time job ?
    there are several other methods (export/import, datapump, external tables ...) to get the job done
    - is this a regular procedure ?
    is it feasible to use methods mentioned above
    - how frequently has to be performed ?
    is it still feasible to use methods mentioned above (taking dblink performance as not acceptable)
    - is it mandatory to transfer 400 000 rows from the other database ?
    wouldn't be better to pull from the other database just the rows you need ?
    wouldn't be better to make the other database the driving site ?

    When returning regular (non-aggregated) record results, the MDEX Engine calculates refinement counts per refinement. (You enable refinement counts in Developer Studio.)
    The refinement counts for regular records are returned by the MDEX Engine as the Dgraph.Bins property.
    When returning aggregated record results, the --stat-abins flag lets the MDEX Engine return the refinement counts for aggregated records.
    These counts accurately reflect the number of aggregated records per refinement. (You enable refinement counts for aggregated records by using this flag.)
    The refinement counts for aggregated records are returned by the MDEX Engine as the Dgraph.AggrBins property.
    Note that dynamic statistics on aggregated records is an expensive computation for the MDEX Engine.
    Use *"--stat-abins"* flag only if you intend to display the refinement counts for aggregated records in your front-end application
