Improvements for the 6280

My thoughts for improving the 6280 (s40 v3) are as follows
1. Remove the OSD (on screen display) when you play videos full screen. Or at least have the option to !!!
2. A media player that allows you to skip forward/rewind videos.
3. Backlight Backlight Backlight ... need I say more. Some form of option to control the length even if its a simple on/off option would be fantastic.
These three "annoyances" simply make you wanna change phones.

why would anyone want the phone to sound a calendar alert when the phone is switched off? thats just dumb.
if you want an alarm to wake you up in the morning (aka an alarm clock) you could use the alarm feature in the clock as described. I know its a revoloutionary suggestion - but it could be the reason nokia put it there in the first place.
I, for one, am grateful that the calendar alerts dont go off when the phone is off. I have hundreds, as do most people who use the calendar.

2 Desired Improvements for the Flash Player 'about' web page

Hi all ...   I'm finally writing to request two improvements to this web page:

As a geek, I have long been annoyed that this web page does not keep its Flash object and does not show the Flash Player plugin version number in the same format as used in the detailed list of latest Flash Player versions for various web browers and operating systems.
This web page is mainly a tool for techs. It can be improved greatly with these two changes (which I'm requesting on May 29, 2013):
1) Near the top of the page, KEEP the flash animation object --
do NOT replace it with an advertisement in a few seconds.
     Keeping the Flash object there allows a knowledgeable user
to right-click on the object to see the Flash plugin version, which
is a way to confirm that the web page's displayed Flash Player
version is correct.
    Currently, the Flash object is replaced within a few seconds
with an advertisement for some other Adobe product. This is
MOST ANNOYING. As a tech, I'm specifically going to this web
page to (a) see that the Flash Player plugin I just installed is
working and/or (b) see what exact version it is.
    Again:   Keep the Flash object in place -- drop the code that
replaces that object with an advertisement.
2) The displayed Flash Player version is formatted with commas,
as in
                You have version
                11,7,700,202 installed
while ALL of the versions in the table below are formatted
(properly) with dots, as in
                Player version
                11.7.700.202
    Make it easier for us mere humans to compare these version
numbers ... rework the HTML code to replace the commas with
dots. (It's not rocket science.)

Thanks, Chris.    That other web page does serve my needs better. I've created a web link to it on my flash drive where I keep the latest Flash plugins for IE and non-IE web browsers.
I still feel that the "About" web page needs the two changes I suggested.
Thanks also for pointing out that the box displaying the version of the installed Flash plugin is actually a Flash .SWF object .... since it is currently static (meaning, it has no animation whatsoever), I had no clue it was a Flash object.
So, I add a 3rd request:   have that version-display SWF object redone, to have a simple animation added and to have its code to display version revised to use periods (dots) in the version numbers. If that object currently is intended and used in some other Adobe (European?) we page, create a new object for the English "About" page.   Or to re-use code, use the version-display object from the page at

on the "About" page as well.
Again, as a techie pressed for time, I want a web page where I see the current version of the installed plugins and the versions of the latest releases, in the same formatting,

I do not accept that the mostly-technical Flash "About" page needs to have marketing materials (an ad).   People go to the About page specifically to see the Flash version info and to prove that Flash is working.

I am a relati'vely Spanish new user of Creative. But I fall in love the quality-price that I obtained with the audio one of my PC with SBS 580.
Now I buy a Creative ZEN 4GB.
Despite I want to open this post, stops of some form, between all to vote improvements, added and things that cambiarian (those that was possible) of Creative ZEN so that if it fits, he was even but explendido in his content.
I begin: That from the memory card SD, archi'ves of all type to the internal memory and of this to the SD can move. Possibility of creating, of moving and of renombrar folders like archi'ves from a site to another one.
That if reproduces from card SD or it fixes or formable, to be able to continue sailing by all the reproducer so that the use of the internal memory is obtained so sublime. That all this supposes a complicated work, but confio totally in the developers of Creative and their support, that unlike other supports, puts the batteries and update firmewares and that causes that the confidence of its clients holds fast but... since it has happened to me to my.

Suggestion for improvement for the IDE

A very simple improvement that will make the users life so much
easier.
When the IDE loads a project / workspace, when it loads the
previous set of files back into the IDE, why not also have it
place the cursor in the row and column it was last at?
I hope to see the change in the next release!

Improvement for the Spectral Editor

Within a selected area of the spectral Frequency Display:
1. Be able to work with particular amplitude ranges only, e.g. you have selected a one second area at 5000Hz to 8000Hz and within that area you want to only manipulate the top 10dB of frequencies within that area.
2. Select a particular frequency region (e.g. 75Hz to 80Hz) and have the ability to have its harmonics selected also.
3. A kind of clone brush/spray (like Photoshop) with a brush/spray distribution. Useful for when you have removed a glitch/squeak in audio and it needs a little spattering of noise to cover the whole in the spectrum that is left behind to make it less obvious that something is missing.

Hmm... Audition is fundamentally an editor. If you start doing all sorts of left-field things like Metasynth does, then you stand a good chance of alienating the main customer base - which, whether anybody likes it or not, is radio users. And the vast majority of their use *is* basic editing. The reason that they like it so much is that it has a clean, uncluttered interface and it's not confusing... even U&I admit that Metasynth is confusing!
The other thing (and this is just an observation) is that over the years, Syntrillium (and subsequently Adobe) have been noted for not taking *any* notice of what anybody else does. In some ways this is good, and in other ways, a lot of people seem to find it quite annoying. Virtually all of the truly innovative stuff in Audition has come directly from David Johnson, and whatever he does seems to bear no relationship to anything else at all - and yes, it's a double-edged sword. It may well be that Adobe are paranoid about being accused of copying anybody else's designs - that's certainly the way it seems to be.
But, one of Audition's strengths is that it processes audio in a sensible way, and provides appropriate tools for this. And if certain things that might seem obvious to some people haven't been implemented, there's usually a good reason for it - and it may not necessarily be what we might think it is, either.

Suggested improvements for the Room Console application

The Room Console is a pretty nice tool to have out of the box to aid in visual debugging of LCCS room-state. However, I think it would be far more usable if the list of "My Rooms" were sortable and searchable. Once that list gets full it can be a huge pain to find a single room.

Anybody knows where can suggestions can be posted for the future improvements for the software to our Ipods??
Some things that I'd love to see in the next Ipods or software are:
- Scrolling of the whole album name, Artist name on the screen of the Ipod
- During the mode sleep would be nice to set the volume low level for sleep and for "alarm" mode it would be perfect wake up with a louder volume.
- For the clock settings moving the digits each one 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 independently instead to go around the clock for 12 hours everytime when a new alarm is set.
- Timer for sleep if could be "open" to everybody own time it would be great other than 15 mins 30 mins 60 mins etc there 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc much better in this case for sleep.
I wish that the people that is involved with the development and manufacturing of our favorite player could do something about it otherwise who else???

As well as EXPLAIN PLAN, let us know what proportion of rows are visited by this query. It may be that it is not using a full table scan when it should (or vice versa).
And of course we'd need to know what indexes are available, and how selective they are for the predicated you have in this query ...

are there settings on the camera of a galaxy 5 for that will improve the camera quality?

Hey daninz23, I know that device has a great camera and we want to make sure that you are familiar with all the settings, so you can make the most of the device. You would be able to change the camera resolution by opening the application and pressing the gear icon. That will open the Camera settings and from here you can change many of the camera settings, but for better quality you can change the Picture Size or resolution. I just wanted to assure you that we on the development team have followed your thread. We have a long list of improvements we'd like to make to the menu widget. Most of the items you raised were already on our "to do" list. The one item I specifically added from your thread was the observation that it would be helpful to be able to set the alignment for the entire menu bar in order to control the direction the menubar grows/shrinks as top level pages are added/removed in Plan view. (The need for additional alignment/positioning controls for individual menu items and submenus was on the list.)

How to improve the load performance while using Datasources for the Invoice

HI All,
How to improve the load performance while using Datasources for the Invoice . Actually my invoice load (Appx. 0.4 M records) is taking very long time nearly ~16 to 18 hrs to update data from R/3 to 0ASA_DS01.
If I load through flat file it will load with in ~20 Min for the same amount of data.
Please suggest how to improve load performance.
PS: I have done the Inpo package settings as per the OSS note.

Thank you. I told it to the apple store in Southampton and they were fab. I was lucky and there was no water damage, the water indicators didn't change colour. It was just bad luck my screen failed at the same time as it got wet!! Screen changed and all is well. Thank you Genuis Tom and West Quay!!
