Improvements to some ADSL services

We're constantly looking for ways to improve your online experience, particularly as more people use the internet to stream video content and connect via Voice over IP (VoIP) services.
To help make this happen, we're introducing an automated diagnostic tool for some ADSL customers to help optimise the speed and increase the stability of your ADSL service by helping to reduce dropouts. We want to do this so there are fewer interruptions to a customer's service and to help to improve actual download speeds.
Some of the benefits you may experience
The tool will provide many of our ADSL customers with:
A higher quality viewing experience when streaming video
Less interruptions
Greater file transfer rates
Better consistency for Skype calls to friends and family
Reduced latency on many services to improve the gaming experience.
The introduction of this tool follows a successful trial, which showed reduced dropouts in the majority of cases.
What now?
This tool will be automatically applied to compatible ADSL services – there is nothing you need to do.
Notice a problem?
For some customers whose lines are managed by this tool, there may be a reduction in the speed your modem reports for your connection. This reduction will often be necessary to stabilise your service by reducing dropouts and often leads to a net improvement in the actual download speed you experience. If you do notice a significant decrease in speed your modem reports for your connection, please contact our BigPond Technical Support team on 133 933 and we will investigate its cause so that we can help improve the speed of your service. Alternatively, you can let us know that you would prefer to opt-out of this service.

I use the built in sync function in the phone to sync directly between the phone and my Ovi account (calendar, notes, contacts).
In general it works fine, but I have problems with syncing Notes.
If I add a new note to the phone or in the web browser, the note will be synced fine (I have activated sync both ways).
If I add more info at the very end of the note everything is still fine.
BUT if I for some reason modify the note somewhere else (beginning, middle, ...), the sync function doesn't behave the way I would prefer - regardless of if I do the modification on the phone or the web.
The result is that the info in the note is almost duplicated!
I would prefer that the most recently modified note completely replaces the other one. Or possibly an alternative in the sync setting if you rather would like the system to try to combine the versions in the phone and on the web server.
Hope I've managed to explain what I mean... and also that you can solve this issue.
The basic principle of ovi sync is great!
