[impt] Where does the "Withdrawal Quantity " figure came from?

Hello to all,
I just have an issue with withdrawal quantity.  How is this "withdrawal quantity" field computed in MD63.
Here's my scenario:
I have a material ABC for plant 1234.  I have checked the MRP settings of this material for planning strategy and consumption mode.  The planning strategy used is <b>Z0</b> (which is make-to-stock production), with this, the requirements type for planned independent requirements is <b>LSF</b> and requirement type for the customer requirement is <b>Y41</b>.
Now, the comsumption mode is 1 which is backward.  The Bwd. consumption per. is 99.
As defined in the documentation (provided by SAP) for Demand Management,
"The consumption period (either forward or backward) is specified in workdays and is valid from the current date. Sales orders, material reservations, dependent requirements then consume the planned independent requirement quantities that lie <b>within the consumption period</b> and after (for forward consumption) or before (for backward consumption) the requirements date."
Now, how do you determine the withdrawal quantity based on these information.  Is the consumption period important?  How do I determine the consumption period?  Where do I start the backward consumption?
Thanks.
Regards,
Patvin

Patvin,
In your case PGI to delivery will be done using movement type 601. You can check this in transaction OMJJ, there will be a small check box activiated for movement type "Reduction of Independent requirements".
Since you have 99 days set a backward consumption, system will first consume PIR which is available on todays date, if not found it will go back descending from today to consume.
Say for example:
PIR:
1000 - 01/08/2007
1500 - 15/08/2007
2000 -  01/09/2007
1000 - 10/09/2007
Now if i do PGI for a quanity of 3500, it will first consume, 1000 - 10/09/2007 then  2000 -  01/09/2007 and finally 500 from 15/08/2007.

This may be a dumb question, but I cannot correlate the contacts between the TP and any of my email accounts. Lots of overlap, but also lots missing.
So, where does the Contacts app pick up the contacts list from? Anyone got a definitive answer?

    OK - I think I've got it.
It's picked up my contacts from my Exchange account - and it's also picked up "suggested contacts" as well. Which is where I was getting confused.

    Hi Experts,
When a Sales Order from CRM flows to ECC and is partially delivered, it can be observed in the CRM system that the remaining quantity of the line item gets updated.
In which table does this remaining quantity value reside in CRM ?
Any pointers/suggestions would be of great help. Points Assured.
    Thanks in Advance,

The remaining quantity info is nowhere available.
But the delivered quantity info is available in the table CRMD_CUMULATED_I.

  • Where does the file path get reported from?

When looking at ZAM software information, it'll show the product name and then like:
    c:\program files\something\
Where does that path information come from?
    The windows registry?
Or does it actually come from the location of the .exe itself?

  • Where does the smiley Mac face come from?

    Hi folks,
Forgive me if I have the wrong forum but I couldn't find a more appropriate one. A few times recently I have come back to my machine when I've left it with aMule running (an eMule file sharing app) and I've found a smiley Mac face on the bottom of my desktop, just under where the Widget icon appears in my dock.
This face then remains on top of any other window I open. If I reboot the machine it disappears but I am just very curious to hear if anyone can explain how or why it gets there?
With my utmost thanks as always to anyone who takes the trouble to respond to my pesky query (thank heavens it's all I have to worry about for once
    Kind Regards

    Powerbook G4 1.67mhz 15"   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

    Thanks Jrsy
I guess that's the best place to ask. I am assuming it must have something to do with aMule but I just wanted to check in case anyone else is familiar with this scenario and can explain it. It seems to be malign enough, but I am a little concerned as it would suggest that the fact that I've only granted access to my shared folder for public use, this does not prevent me from the possibility of receving some unwanted stuff elsewhere and I am therefore a little concerned I might be leaving myself open to more malicious actions?
Much appreciate you bothering to get back to me

  • HT6240 Where does the DEP Supervision Profile come from?

I've configured a server instance in DEP and successfully enrolled an iPad with OTA Supervision using Casper 9.4. I cannot figure out where it got the Supervision Profile from, and why it correctly states the name of my school district. I did not upload it anywhere that I remember..
    thank you,
    chris

Thank you. I now see that is coming from the DEP account information.
I was looking at an iPad that enrolled using the prestage settings but must have been supervised still from Configurator.. And the district name was slightly different than the DEP info! Confusion reigned at the end of my day..

  • Where does the 80 gig iPod ship from?

Ahh the waiting game: Placed my (black 80 gig) order 9am PDT on 9/14. Estimated shipping date is 9/18 (two business days). I optimistically hoped it would ship out on the first business day.. oh well.
Anyone receive yours yet? If so what is the origin? China? I called Apple and tried to change to expedited shipping but they said it was already in the system and would ship a day early. It didn't. Oh well, hard to be patient in the internet age.

Weekends do not count as 'business days' or 'shipping days' with any carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL) unless you are getting a Saturday Delivery.
If your iPod shipped on the 14th, the soonest you will get a two-day shipment is Monday the 18th.
In addition, my iPod shows as shipped on SATURDAY the 16th, with a 'Service Exception' from Shanghai. With customs and the like you are probably not going to get 2-day shipping anyway.
Basically, when my iPod shows up via FedEx I am calling to return it to Apple as my wife bought me one locally.

  • Where does the built-in dictionary download from for iPad?

My school has just upgraded their internet connection because we have gone to a computing school, using iPads. Some of the students can't access the dictionary, simply because it is not downloaded, but the dictionary won't download. We think it is our firewall, because it won't download/install via our internet, but it will download/install when I use the internet sharing on my phone (using my 4G network).
Our tech guy says he will need the URL for the dictionary download  in order to clear any issues with the firewall.
Apps and other things download/upload and install fine, it's just the dictionary that won't do it.

Some of the iPads do not have a dictionary despite having 6.1.3. When we hit define define, it says that there is no dictionary present, we hit the download button, but it never downloads.
I'm not sure if anyone is currently having the problem right now, so I can't get you an error screenshot, but there was 2 or 3 people that had this problem that I had to download the dictionary using the 4G network sharing on my phone, because it wouldn't download using the school's network.

  • Where does the name space prefix come from

When I test my mapping in the Integration Builder both my mapping type and my name space get prefixed with nsX (ie ns1, ns2, etc). How can I tell in advance was the X value will be?
    Thanks
    Patrick

    Hi Patrick,
    there is no possibility.
According to the XML namespace declaration the prefixes are just internal aliases with no external meaning.
    E.g. <ns1:abc xmlns:ns1="http://www.sap.com" /> and
<iLikeLongPrefixes xmlns:iLikeLongPrefixes ="http://www.sap.com" /> are totally equivalent according to the XML namespace specification.
Therefore, everyone (human or machine) who produces a program can choose the prefixes as he wants. Moreover, he may change the rules for creating these prefixes without being incompatible.
Consequently, the namespace prefixes should not be important for you.

  • When I transfer photos from my camera to my computer, where does the computer store them?

When I transfer photos from my camera to my computer, where does the computer store them?

Assuming you're using iPhoto 09 or later.
By default the photos are stored in the iPhoto Library in your Pictures Folder.
The iPhoto Library is a Package File. This is simply a folder that looks like a file in the Finder. This is a simple protection from users inadvertently corrupting their library by browsing through it with other software or making changes in it themselves.
Want to look inside?  Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Standard Warning: Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things,, deleting them or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
As an FYI: There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

  • Cancelation of Sales order shipment doesnt reduce the withdrawal quantity

    Hi,
I have this scenario, where if a Sales order shipment gets cancelled with a 602 Goods movement, I dont see the correct reflection of withdrawal quantity in RRP3. For eg: There was a total of 26 shipments initially, the withdrawal qty is 26 in APO, User cancelled quantity of 3 of them from a sales order delivery, so ideally the Forecast Tab in RRP3 should indicate 23 in Withdrawal and the 3 should be in the Allocated column.
    FYI:
Forecast Consumption happens in SNP ( Consumption characteristics are Material/Plant/Customer ).
Please advise whether we are missing any Config or is this a standard beheavior where the withdrawal quantity remains static irrespective of Delivery cancelation.
    Regards
    Gk

    Hi Gopakumar,
If CIF is not useful for you in getting the right qty, order in live cache is not getting updated.
in ECC you can run SDRQCR21 by giving order number can be useful as suggested by Bhramankar.
Or you can delete the order & its delivery from live cache.
    1) get Order GUId from /SAPAPO/OM16
    2) Provide the internal order number in /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS and delete the order from live cache.
    3) Do CIF for the sales order and check, data will be replicated.
    Thanks,
    Bala.

  • Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running google maps app on the phone. Siri cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Thanks.

Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running Google Maps app on the phone. SIRI cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Also can anyone tell me the hierarchy of use between the Apple Maps, SIRI, and Google maps when the app is on the phone? How do you choose one over the other as the default map usage? Or better still how do you suppress SIRI from using the Apple maps app when requesting a "go to"?
I have placed an address location into the CONTACTS list and when I ask SIRI to "take me there" it found a TOTALLY different location in the metro area with the same street name. I have included the address, the quadrant, (NE) and the ZIP code into the CONTACTS list. As it turns out, no amount of canceling the trip or relocating the address in the CONTACTS list line would prevent SIRI from taking me to this bogus location. FINALLY I typed in Northeast for NE in the CONTACTS list (NE being the accepted method of defining the USPS location quadrant) , canceled the current map route and it finally found the correct address. This problem would normally not demand such a response from me to have it fixed but the address is one of a hospital in the center of town and this hospital HAS a branch location in a similar part of town (NOT the original address SIRI was trying to take me to). This screw up could be dangerous if not catastrophic to someone who was looking for a hospital location fast and did not know of these two similar locations. After all the whole POINT of directions is not just whimsical pasttime or convenience. In a pinch people need to rely on this function. OR, are my expectations set too high?
How does the iPhone select between one app or the other (Apple Maps or Gppgle Maps) as it relates to SIRI finding and showing a map route?
Why does SIRI return an address that is NOT the correct address nor is the returned location in the requested ZIP code?
Is there a known bug in the CONTACTS list that demands the USPS quadrant ID be spelled out, as opposed to abreviated, to permit SIRI to do its routing?
Thanks for any clarification on these matters.

siri will only use apple maps, this cannot be changed. you could try google voice in the google app.

    No and Yes
Don't use TM for this purpose, clone your drive to an external, plug the external into another MBP and reboot from it. Please note that booting a machine that came with Lion may not be possible from a drive with Snow Leopard.
