Imy iPhone sounds are not working. Any help please

I have an iPhone 4s. I Powered it offhand when I opened it again all the sounds like the keyboard sounds and the sound u here when u unlock the phone. Even the music in games are not working. However, when I listen to music or watch videos on YouTube there are no problems. Any help please??

All the contacts sync configuration has been done, first I configured the iTunes to sync with outlook but nothing happen, then change to Gmail but same.
My contacts on my iPhone, no contacts in outlook.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

My iphone sound is not working. HELP

I just bought my iphone 3g today. Everything seems to be working well. No crashes. Everything synced well also.
But for some reason the sound seems to be not working. From the sounds setting, I turned off both vibrates and even put the volume to the fullest. Everything else is set ON. I tried playing music but that won't work either. I turned it on and off and that won't work either. Is there a secret button that I'm totally ignoring? I'm going to go in tomorrow to see whats up but I'm hoping to fix the problem tonight if I can. I will appreciate any help I can get.

It might sound silly, but I had this happen on my 1st gen iPhone a few months ago. It was as if the thing was totally muted, I couldn't play any music or hear anyone on a phone call. I really thought my phone was broken. I talked to an apple rep and they asked me to plug my headphones in, then remove them. lol That fixed the problem. For some reason, the phone thought the headphones were still plugged in and it was routing all audio to the headphone jack instead of the speaker/earpiece. Plugging the headphones in, then removing them told the phone they weren't plugged in anymore and it worked fine after that.
Hopefully your problem is as simple as that.

My links on my navigation bar are not working. HELP PLEASE!

Hi, I am making a website for my AS IT course and need your help. Before i explain my problem, i am using dreamweaver 8.
I made a drop down navigation bar using coding and CSS. At the moment, I have linked three pages. The first page being Home at the start, the second bar is called 'The Players' and i have linked that and they both work right. However, 'the players' has two drop down menus called PDC and BDO, i have linked my page to PDC through the code. However, i can only click onto this page and it will only direct me tot hat page if i click it straight from my template. If i click onto my home page or players then click onto PDC, it will not take me there. However, if i am on the players and click onto another page, it will take me there.
I did all this on my template.

If you only restored from backup, restore to factory defaults/new iPod. If you then still have the problem it is likely a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Are you connecting your iPhone directly to your PC or to a USB hub?

A reset has nothing to do with Internet access or data access.
A reset is simply pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.

First, no, it is not showing orange. I checked the silent button immediately. Then I checked the sounds section of my settings, but all is good there. When I get a phone call, it rings fine. Alert and typing sounds are not working.
Second..., yes this was a technical point (in which I was hoping someone else might have had the same problem, with a solution), as well as a complaint (definitely one worth making as it is not a minor issue - it is important to hear text alerts when you have children).

I’ve reviewed similar posts regarding the same issue; and it seems this is a common issue in iPhone 4S when upgrade to iOS 7.1.2.
Apple, please Advise if there anything I can do to resolve the issue especially that my work deepens on the push emails and alerts that requires prompt response.

I got this issue resolved.
It caused due to some dirt in the charger slot; such dirt caused the phone to assume as if it is connected to a car kit and that is why it does not produce any sound except the Ringer and the Alarm.
It has been fixed by cleaning the charger slot by toothbrush! with some
drops of a cleaner.
Do not do it by yourself, as it might be a risk; rather, let it to be done by an expert.

I kept forgetting and procrastinating about following your instructions, since I have internet access only for limited amounts of time and usually I am busy with important tasks when I am.
Out of the blue, the problem corrected itself (the Save As box started to open full screen, then shrunk down to a normal size and the edges can now be dragged to a custom size).
Even the copy and paste problem in the filenaming area seems to have been less troublesome lately even though there have been no updates to Firefox in a few weeks.
Even though I marked the solution as not helpful, the problem has in fact been resolved. I will save the solution instructions in case the issue returns.
