In 10.8 I opened Preview and saw my Aperture albums and then chose the desired image to work on. In 10.9.2 Preview/File/Open only shows on the LHS every single pic in my Aperture Library - I can't select directly from the parts of the Library

This is my first time using Apple Support and I inadvertently put the entire question in the discussion header. Please refer to it. I'd appreciate any help.

It sounds like you are getting an error from iTunes when you launch it. I would try the troubleshooting in this article named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues

Start with troubleshooting for 3rd party plug ins section, then the rest of the article if needed:
Start iTunes in Safe Mode
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interference from plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down Shift–Control while opening iTunes. You should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
Click Continue.
See if the issue you're experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you have the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the "Create a new user account" section. If you don't experience the same issue, follow these steps to remove third-party plug-ins.

And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

To maintain the metadata you'll need to use one of the third party tools that does this kind of migration. Metalogix has a product with a free trial that we have used before. (Don't remember whether the free version maintains metadata or not).

No, unfortunately, when you format a drive, it will erase all the contents. So you will need to find a temporary "storage" place to put the stuff using a PC so you have access to it. Then reformat using Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities). If only using with mac, format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and use GUID Partition scheme under Partitions/Options. After formatting, you can drag the files back.

Have you run it in a debugger? That will show you exactly what is happening and why.

Probably because you have the free version of Flip4MAc from Telestream that limits exported files to 30 seconds or so. There ae several paid versions – depending on your requirements

To print from an iOS device (iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad), the printer must be AirPrint-ready. If the printer is not, another option would be to use something like.

You only get the 'index' running down the right of the screen if you have enough items in that category. Somewhere over 20-30, I believe.

I suppose there is a way to 'write metadata to files' in PSE3. This writes all your tags, captions and ratings from your catalog to the metadata header of each of your media files. Those are recognized and recovered if you 'get photos and videos...' from files or folders in ulterior versions of Elements.
