It seems that the settings you are using for browsing the internet and to play the videos are different. So try to change the settings for the streaming option. Further you can you http://m.vuclip.com to play the videos or you can try to download the youtube app from getjar. Hope this helps you. Try and reply.

  • Some videos on YouTube will not play

    As of a few days ago some of the videos on YouTube will not play I tried IE(I stopped using after it ask for an update) ,but then I had to use google chome and I hate it, but the videos played. Its not every video, and some times it's the same video I just played not to long ago. I fear that soon I might not be able to view most videos on YouTube. I cleared my cache, made sure everything it up-to-date, although Silverlight-plugin will not update, no matter what I try to do( I hope that is not the reason, because Silverlight won't up-date.) I'm am not sure when this problem first arose, at first I though it was Google/YouTube having issues, but it seems like Google's browser works fine on the videos that do not play on Firefox. What can I do, I need Firefox to work, I can't bare to move to another browser.

    A few other thoughts:
    (1) For a video where this happens, does the problem persist if you try reloading a few times using Ctrl+Shift+r?
    (2) Is there any difference in how you connect to Youtube between your browsers? You can check Firefox's connection setting here:
    "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network mini-tab > "Settings" button
    The default is "Use system proxy settings" but you also could try "No proxy".
    (3) Have you received any SSL-related errors, such as pages reporting a certificate problem and requiring you to make an exception, or missing styles or functionality on secure sites?
    (4) If you opted in to the html5 player, is there a pattern of the problem videos being in one format or the other (HTML5 player vs. Flash player)? https://www.youtube.com/html5

  • YouTube videos not playing in either IE or Chrome

    As of this morning, most YouTube videos are not playing. After the advertisement (which always plays properly), the player goes black with no controls. Right-clicking shows "Movie not loaded".
    This happens in both IE10 and Chrome on Windows 7 64-bit (I'm using 32-bit browsers.)
    I have followed the instructions in several other threads here. Flash has been uninstalled completely and reinstalled. (Current version 11.8.800.168). Browser, Flash, and Macromedia caches have all been deleted and hardware acceleration disabled. Add-ons/plug-ins/Active X have been variously disabled and enabled. The https hack likewise does nothing.
    What is going on?

    My first guess would be that something is interfering with Flash from loading the content properly.  I would look at your antivirus/firewall software to start.  An easy way to test this would be to start your computer in safe mode with networking enabled.  This should stop all third party services from running.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mo de=windows-7
    If Flash starts working, the next step would be determine what else is being loaded on your computer that might be interfering.

  • Embedded youtube videos not playing

    Running Windows 64bit with Internet Explorer 10 and Flash version 11.6.602.171
    Youtube, Facebook no problems.
    I think the videos are embedded with the new iframe only and do not play.
    Can anyone shed some light on this?

    For the life of me, I cannot find the settings on this version of Flash.
    I have the Flash Player Settings Manager, but no Global Storage Manager.
    As for the sites
    Direct links:
    http://www.youtube.com/embed/5UgBCU5XUbI?rel=0
    http://www.youtube.com/embed/maZedqk6ttY?rel=0&wmode=transparent
    Or from the sources:
    http://www.lyaintro.com/index_2.html
    http://networkmarketingpro.com/
    As for Amazon videos, I have found that if I clear my cookies and run the video on a product intro like say a metal detector. I can watch it once, but if I go to another product and try to watch it's video, I get nothing but a loading bar, then go back to the first video and again, nothing but a loading bar until I clear the cookies.

  • Flex Mobile - Sound Effect not Playing on List snapping (code sample provided)

    Hello All,
    I'm trying to figure out how to play a Sound Effect on the trigger of the "changing" event on a List.
    So basically I have:
    <s:List id="theList" width="100%"
                itemRenderer="MyIconItemRenderer" verticalScrollPolicy="off"
                pageScrollingEnabled="true" scrollSnappingMode="center"
                caretChange="playSound(event)"> ... </List>
    So the list above snaps to the item to be centered, though I would like on every snap, for it to make a click sound. I've added the method for playing the sound as:
    private var tickChange:Sound;
    private var soundEffectURLRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest('/assets/sound/click.mp3');
    protected function playSound(event:IndexChangeEvent):void  {
         tickChange = new Sound(soundEffectURLRequest);
         tickChange.play();
    The Sound effect plays, though it's not playing at every Snap interval, so if I scroll fast among them, it's not playing, only on the last selection.

    I can´t believe it.. While writing the previous post, I thought on a really simple solution and compiled it to give it a try. It works perfectly!
    As simple as setting the "cacheAsBitmap" property to "true" on the Spark lists of the views!!

  • Youtube videos not playing on standalone Safari browser iOS 8

    I have a very strange problem with an embedded youtube player on a web app, I am working on. The web app is "mobile capable" so when saved on a user homescreen, it opens up in a chromeless safari browser.
    So here is my issue:
    The YouTube player is embedded on one of the pages in the web app using an iframe, and when the "play" button is clicked and the app is open in the chromeless safari window, the video loads forever and never plays....however when this scenario is replicated in the regular safari browser everything works fine.
    This started happening only after the iOS 8 update. This is happening on an iPhone 5 running iOS 8, and it previously worked fine on the same iPhone 5 under iOS 7. Additionally,  I tested the app on an iPhone 5c running iOS 7, and an iPad Air running iOS 7 and everything works fine.
    Side Note: I even changed the implementation to embed using an object instead of an iframe, and the same problem occurs with either one.

    This is a significant problem if Apple is going to allow developers to deploy web applications that can be saved as a chromless web app.
    My question is, who is responsible for fixing this issue? is this something YouTube needs to address? or Apple?
    looking at the error console I am not able to troubleshoot the issue as I am not able to see any errors firing when attempting to play an embedded player.
    i believe this issue may also be effecting other html5 code as well on other sites.
    Apple PLEASE respond.

  • Mobile Safari does not play videos

    http://naartjie.nanoson.com/movie.html
    Three videos on a simple HTML page[/URL] Check HTML source yourself - it's trivial!
    First video about Subaru plays well in Mobile Safari.
    About second Mobile Safari says, that it can't download video file! About third it says, that video can't be played.
    First I thought that video format is wrong, but! If all that 3 videos send via email to iPhone or upload to iDisk and use iDisk.app, all they can played without any errors! So what is my mistake? Are there any more strict limitations on video in HTML for Mobile Safari?

    K T, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but since this WORKED on the iPad but DID NOT work on ANY other version of Safari (including the iPhone/iPod version), I don't think that could possibly be the issue. Now, what it COULD be is that I processed these videos on an old PowerMac with Final Cut Studio 1 (so Compressor 2, not Compressor 3) . . . but I thought the H.264 standard has been unchanged for seven years, right? If so, I don't see how that could be it either. But I don't know much about this stuff.
    Would compressing the file for "streaming" rather than "download" on an older version of Compressor do anything to the resulting file that would somehow make it incompatible with Safari? And maybe they just tweaked the **** out of the iPad for the big launch and caught that bug, but haven't fixed it on other platforms yet? Like I said, I don't know much about this stuff, but that's the only thing I can think of that made the videos I processed, uploaded, and tested any different than the videos that WORK on all versions of Safari.
    To clarify, all the videos I have processed myself ONLY work on the iPad. Videos I download from the Internet, then upload and test with the exact same code, work on all up-to-date versions of Safari (and Chrome too).

  • Netflix and Youtube will not play on Firefox but I can still hear sound and can pause with the space bar. Works fine on Internet Explorer.

    All of a sudden last night after Firefox restarted after an update I am no longer able to play Netflix or Youtube. I can hear the sounds from whatever I select to play but the browser is black and I can even pause using the space bar but no interaction with the cursor. Both Netflix and Youtube work fine on Internet Explorer... I tried updating plug ins, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling plug ins and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox itself but nothing has helped. Not sure what steps to take next...

    Hello,
    Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems|this article]] for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).
    To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:
    #Go to this [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues Adobe Flash Player Help page].
    #Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
    #Click on '''Settings''' in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
    # Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel. <br/> <br/>[[Image:fpSettings1.PNG]] <br/>
    # Remove the check mark from '''Enable hardware acceleration'''.
    # Click '''Close''' to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
    # Restart Firefox.
    This [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html Flash Player Help - Display Settings page] has more information on Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you're interested.
    Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

  • Mobile YouTube website not loading videos over 3G

    This problem has only surfaced in the last couple of weeks for myself and a couple of other friends. When I go to http://m.youtube.com and try to load a video using 3G, it doesn't load. The same video will load with no problems over 3G if I use the YouTube app and the mobile site will work over Wifi. I've tried deleting my cache/cookies and restoring my phone and it did nothing. I was sent here from the YouTube support page by a Google employee, so basically they're not taking responsibility for it.
    My friends who are also having the problem are with different carriers to me, so it's very unlikely that both of them started blocking access to YouTube over 3G at the same time.
    Has anyone else had this problem or knows of a way to fix it?

    I noticed that yesterday! It kept telling me to Enable Plugins in my Safari settings but there is no plugin to enable unless it was talking about on the computer and not the phone. I finally got it to work but its not the Youtube I am used to using.
