In addition to the zoom in/out issue

I find the cursor gets stuck when I try to move it. It takes some prodding.

this might indicate that your computer is busy ... launch "activity monitor" and have a look at CPU. Anything which takes a lot of CPU?
in addition, i noticed that you have Dell, and Windows... this here is for mac-users, and might not apply to your problems ;~))

    How to make the zoom in/out scale appear in the media browser ? My videos only appear as a file list (only the names) and the zoom in/out device is currently not in the media browser...

    I meant that there is no "Icon mode" button or "List mode" button in my media browser. How to make them appear ?

  • Why doesn't the "zoom in/out" via pinching the trackpad on my mac not work anymore with firefox? It worked before and still works with Safari.

    why doesn't the "zoom in/out" feature by pinching the trackpad on my mac work anymore with firefox? It worked about a month ago, and still works on Safari.

    Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
    You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page.
    browser.gesture.pinch.in -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReduce</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out -> <b>cmd_fullZoomEnlarge</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> <b>cmd_fullZoomReset</b>
    browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> <b>false</b>
    To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
    *Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
    *Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
    *Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

  • I have the wifi gray out issue and have tried all the steps!

    This is a hardware issue and Apple SHOULD replace the phone even if out of warranty!!!!!!!!  This is the second phone that has done this and it is obviously an issue according to everyone else's post.  Apple find a solution for the problem before you manufacture another Iphone!!!!!!!

  • SX700 has a loud zoom in/out, which got picked up by the video. Is it normal?

    Hi All,
    I just received my Canon SX700 and went out for a test today. The picture quality wes good, the video image quality was great as well. I heard zooming in and out sound when I was shooting the video using SX700. After I came home and play it on my computer, the zooming in/out sound is indeed loud and clear. In addition, I heard clicking sound in some zooming in and out as well. Is it normal? Is it an one off defect? Should I return it? And comment/ suggestion/ advice is appreciated!
    Best regards,
    Sally

    The noise you can here is the zoom motor stopping and starting and very little you can do about it. The internal microphone is only doing it's job... picking ALL the sound up it detects.
    These cameras in the video mode is only a gimmick, the quality of these internal microphones leaves a lot to be desired, the only way round it is to use an external microphone, whether these cameras have that facility I can't say, do consult your user manual on using an external mic.

  • Zoom In/Out Button with Pan AS3

    Good Day! I'm new to Flash AS3,
    And I have a major problem on my project
    What I've been doing is an Interactive map and some functions along with a zoom in/out and pan button
    I've got the code on the zoom in/out button, problem is when there is no limitation when I zoomed it in(Still researching this)
    Here is my code in the zoom in(I just change the + to - on the zoom out button ofc!)
         on(release){
         _root.SoilMap._xscale+=10;
         _root.SoilMap._yscale+=10;
    "I don't have any codes for the Pan Button yet"
    What my final output would be this, in the Black line square that would be my limit in the zoom in/out , and that is the area where
    I could only use my Pan button.
    Any codes that is related to this would help me.
    I've also research about the Javascript that can zoom/pan but it's only for JPG, i tried the SWF file but it didn't work.

    I am not really clear on what you are having a problem with nor how panning fits in with it.  If you want to place a limit on the zooming then use a conditional to check if the current scaling is at a maximum allowed value or not...
         on(release){
            if(_root.SoilMap._xscale < whatever_the_limit_is){     // could also use width (or height)
                 _root.SoilMap._xscale+=10;
                 _root.SoilMap._yscale+=10;

  • No zoom in/out buttons in maps?

    An I insane or did they remove the zoom in/out buttons in the Maps app? As if the app didn't have enough problems...
    What if I only have one hand free? I can't zoom. Astonishingly dumb if this is true.

    But that's the thing - what if you don't have two fingers fee? If you're holding your phone in one hand, your other hand is occupied, you can't tap with two fingers.
    Absolutely ridiculous. Another example of how stupid and flawed this app is... Astonishing. Makes no sense. Just give me google maps back please.

  • Zoom in/out map

    I asked guys on Dreamweaver how I could create the page showing a similar zoom in/out map as on the below link.  I was referred to come here.  Could anyone tell me, please? How do I achive the zoom in/out effect?
    http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/kensington_gardens/

    I don't know what code you are talking about.  IF you have thew original fla file for this, then you have all the answers you need in it, you just need to figure out how they are implemented.  As far as the different points on the map, those are most likely movieclips that have mouse event coding applied to them so that they animate when rolled over/out. Each one appears to be a unique symbol that would be in the library due to the inconsistent spacing around the titles that appear when hovered.

  • Zoom out issue on shared members

    Hi All,
    While doing Ad-Hoc Analysis on EPMA planning app using Smartview, When I zoom out on a shared member, It is showing its original parent rather than the shared member parent. Is this a bug?
    Planning version is 11.1.2.3 and Smartview is 11.1.2.5.

    Hi
    I am not sure its a bug. This behaviour has been around for a while. How your zoom out works depends on what you have in your report.
    So, if all you have in your report is the shared member, with no reference to other areas of the shared dimension essbase has no way of knowing you have the shared member. It thinks it is the stored member and will always zoom out on the stored primary hierarchy.
    Try this. On the report also have the total parent of the shared hierarchy in addition to the shared member. So what I am saying is that if you drill down in report, always drill inclusive of the total of the shared hierarchy. Then essbase has a reference to drill back up the shared hierarchy.
    Thanks
    Anthony

  • Why the !@#$ can't I zoom in/out when cropping a photo??

    Why the !@#$ can't I zoom in/out when cropping a photo??

    Yes, that zoom scroll doesn't change the dimensions of the photo.
    Attached is a screen shot to help explain the issue.
    Notice the top of the guitar is not within the desired dimensions. I would like to zoom out to be able to fit all of the guitar in the cropped section.

    Dear apple, I am really dissapointed with you. Around January 2013, my iPhone 4s 16GB White has hardware issues, which was the Wi-Fi grey out. The wifi grey out means that I can't access the wifi on/off button, and also it has no connection. I have put up with it for months, until june 7 when I decided it has been long enough, and I got a replacement. I told the genius bar what happened, and I already did the so called "steps" that apple reccommended on the site, which was reset network settings, restore iPhone. The genius bar gave me a replacement phone, so I was expecting that the problem would be over, but it isn't. It seems that it's iOS 6.1.3 which is the case of most public complaints on apple iPhone products. Not even 3 weeks after I got the phone replaced, it is doing it again, so I suspect I'm just going to get a replacement again? Unfortunately I only have until 5th of july 2013 until my 1 year warranty is up. After that, any issue I have, I have to purchase apple care. People are expecting this problem to be fixed but I don't see it being solved any time soon. This is horrible and really low, because I have been a good customer, when I talk to the people at the genius bar, I show the utmost respect I can to them for the work they put into their job, but somewhere there is a problem where something has gone wrong. Because of that, people that only have a one year warranty (which i received because I purchased my apple iPhone at an Optus outlet, once that one year warranty is up, I have to pay for a problem that isn't even my fault? That isn't how it should work, you should be fixing this problem so people can be happy customers and leave happy. Obviously you don't all know how to do your jobs, because if you did, we wouldn't have this problem. I would like a replacement phone, ONCE AGAIN. If this problem occurs again, I will simply stop buying your products, and lose faith in your company, your's sincerely, Jack Maher.

    My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3.

  • When starting the Add-on: Connection timed out issue

    When starting the Add-on: Connection timed out issue
    Hi,
    We have a client in SAP 2005 PL 44.
    I built the add-on for them using simple installer wizard ( I tried advanced set-up also).
    When starting the add-on, I get the message 'Connection Timed Out'.
    Add-on status is failed.
    But the add-on is actually connected. i.e, The functionality associated with the add-on is working fine.
    I had SAP 2007 before and un/reinstalled SAP 2005 in order to connect with this client.
    I had built the same add-on in a similar way for the same client for lot many times in the past, but I never got this issue.
    I tried the following:
    1) Delete SM_OBS_DLL and un/reinstall DI API
    2) un/reinstall B1DE
    Always I'm getting this error.
    Please let me know your inputs.
    Thanks.
    Geetha

    Hi Geetha,

  • The zoom in zoom out gesture doesn't work on my iPhone 5c. Like when opening an app it doesn't zoom out and opens.

    The zoom in zoom out gesture doesn't work on my iPhone 5c. Like when opening an app it doesn't zoom out and opens. It also doesn't zooms in while pressing the home button to return. The gesture is just like any other Android phone. Like while closing an app by pressing the home button the icons seem like zooming in and falling back to their respective places. This thing happens in my friends' iPhones but this thing doesn't happen on my iPhone 5C. Please help.. I am unable to find anything wrong with the settings either.

    I have another query though. Is it possible to always logged into my Gtalk from iPhone? I am using an app called Gtalk Lite. But every time I double press the home button and swipe up the apps to close them from running in the background Gtalk lite logs me off. I have to log in to Gtalk lite again. I was looking for something like that happens on Android phones. You are always logged in even after you close them from running in the background. And also is it possible to log in to more than one gmail account on Gtalk in iPhone?

  • Sometimes when panning with the hand tool, it zooms way out instead of just moving the canvas

    So normally when you hold the space key and drag, it just moves the canvas, but every now and then, seemingly randomly, it zooms way out and shows a little box which is the size and shape of the area of canvas I was previously looking at. If I move the box and let go of space, it zooms to that location, but all I wanted was to move normally. I don't think I've ever wanted the zoom out, move, then zoom back in behavior. What causes that? How do I make it stop?

    It's "bird's eye view" and by coincidence, your problem was discussed in another thread last night: Problem with zoom in Photoshop CS6
