In Ap store display reluctant response

In AppStore, e.g.  If I tap the display box for "Free" or "Install"  it may take a dozen taps with assorted fingers to get a response. What am I not doing right?

    It may be some apps on your iphone that is causing that.
    Nope. The security on iOS means that no app can interfere with the OS or any other app. An app may crash, but it cannot cause any other app to crash or misbehave, and no app can affect system functionality, like networking.

    Nope. The same security in iOS means that not only are there no viruses (or malware of any other kind) for iOS, but also that anti-virus apps are not possible. They would not be able to scan anything except themselves, which would be singularly unuseful. Thus, there are not actually any true anti-virus apps in the App Store. There are a couple that can scan your e-mail for you, but that is achieved through connecting to the IMAP server where your e-mail is stored. They cannot scan the phone.

  • How to display the responsibility name in the header of a SS page?

    Customer is wanting to show the Responsibility name at the top of the Self Service page, similar to the way the PUI forms does.
    For example, if you are in Forms and have the System Administrator responsibility opened, in the top of the forms window you will see: System Administrator
    The customer has several iProcurement responsibilities
    “KNAW Internet Procurement 210”
    “KNAW Internet Procurement 220”
    “KNAW Internet Procurement 230”
    “KNAW Internet Procurement 240”
    “KNAW Internet Procurement 250”
    and would like to see the which responsibility they are in displayed at the top of the SS/OAF page.
    They are on R12.1.2, and I have looked through the Framework Profile Options but not finding anything there.
    Is there a way to do this?

  • How to display HTML response file in user's browser following submission of Livecycle form

    I have a PDF form created via Livecycle that does a HTTP submit to the webserver. The server returns a HTML 'submission receipt' page which is either opened in Acrobat or the user's web browser.
    Previously this process worked fine when submitting from adobe reader - the html receipt file would always automatically open OK in the user's browser. However, with newer versions of Reader (11.0.0+) I now get this error and no attempt to open the user's web browser:
    An error occurred during the submit process. Cannot process content of type text/html
    I realise why I get the error - Adobe reader can't display HTML files.
    What I don't understand is why it doesn't open the html file in the user's browser like it has been doing for years.
    Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this (without changing the response content type to PDF/FDF)?

    I had the same issue as you and we used FDF status, then eventually went with returning an XDP  that filled out a receipt section of the form.

  • How to get Outlook 2013 to display server response messages

    I'm testing the AV scanner on my email server.  The test is to send the eicar test virus and see if the server catches it.  I can see in my server logs that the messages has been rejected "as containing the eicar test virus," but Outlook
    2013 is just telling me that the recipient address is bad.  Outlook is not displaying the actual bounce message.  It is much like the "Friendly Internet Explorer error messages."  They aren't always right as they look at the response
    code and not the actual message.
    Google has failed me on this one.
    I have Outlook 2007 and it does actually give me the message:
    550 5.7.1 Your email was rejected.  It scanned positive for Eicar-Test-Signature.
    But 2013 says:
    The recipient has been deleted or has no e-mail address.
    I think I had to change the setting somewhere in 2007, but I cannot find it.  Google keeps finding other messages.  Any clue how to fix?

    I notice that you have not configured Load Balance for the CASes, I want to know whether all Outlook Clients in both 2 locations connect to Exchange 2013 server via CAS-1.
    If all clients connect to Exchange 2013 server via CAS-1, please check whether the
    AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri Parameter set to the CAS-1 URL. Please run following command to check:
    Set-ClientAccessServer
    -identity <servername> | fl
    I suggest configure Load Balance for the CASes.

  • Why Doesn't The App Store Display Correctly on my MBP?

    Ever since OS updates were included in the App Store, I noticed that product icons never fully load on the storefront. I'm always having to reload the page to get everything to display properly and sometimes that doesn't work! Hey, Apple... fix your store or I'll be using my Windows 7 Virtual Machine more often!

    It doesn't sound like an Apple issue but rather one about your user profile. 
    I have a few apple comptuers running the same OS, and they have no issue.  As the iApps store, is an internet store, other people in your area would also be having the same issue if it was the iApps store that was causing the problem. 
    Try some basic troubleshooting on your computer to see if it helps. 
    REPAIRING DISK PERMISSIONS -
    NOTE: refer to article "About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature" found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1452 - for the actual apple article on these step. ----
    - click finder in the bottom dock, and in the window that opens, select applications in the left column - scroll through until you see the 'Utilities' folder and double click to open it.  Then double click on 'Disk Utility'
    - When prompted to select a disk volume or image, select the 'Macintosh HD' in the left column
    - ensure the the "first aid" tab is highlighted blue in the middle of the screen
    - click the button at the bottom that says 'Repair Disk Permissions'
    - this process will take a few minutes to run.  It will indicate it's done, by scrolling to the bottom of the "details area" displaying 'Permissions repair complete'
    REPAIRING DISK - About OS X Recovery - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718.
    - restart your computer hold down command + R keys on the keyboard to boot you into Lion / Mountain Lion Recovery mode
    - select english as your main language then the continue arrow
    - select "Disk Utility" on the resulting screen then 'Disk Utility' ---
    - When prompted to select a disk volume or image, select the 'Macintosh HD' in the left column
    - ensure the the "first aid" tab is highlighted blue in the middle of the screen
    - click the button at the bottom that says 'REPAIR DISK' .......NOT "Repair disk permissions"
    - this process will take a few minutes to run.  It will indicate it's done, by scrolling to the bottom of the "details area" displaying "The Macintosh HD appears OK"
    If you get any other message OTHER than "The Macintosh HD appears OK", like "the Macintosh HD was repaired successfully" run the "Disk Repair" again, until it displays  "The Macintosh HD appears OK".
    Once done, restart the computer as normal

    I purchased a plasma tv on line yesterday and picked it up this morning. As there were no more of these tvs available in the store and the floor model was not on display I am concerned that they may have repackaged the floor model. How can I tell if I got a brand new TV or the floor model?

    If it was a display model the box would have been opened not sealed. Same for the packaging on the tv and the accessories inside the box. All the plastic bags the stuff comes in would be opened. Well maybe not all but probably at least one.
    I think if it was a display model they would have told you so. Also look for finger prints, smudges and dirt or dust.. You could also look for marks on the connections possibly. If it was used they had to hook a source up to it somehow.
    On the upside if its a display model at least you know it works and the break in period is over. It is still covered by the same waranty.
    Also some of the tvs they sell online are not on display. I asked about one I saw online not long ago and they said they had some, just didn't have them out, but they had another model that was almost the same on display already.
    I find it hard to believe they would repackage a display and sell it as new. Not saying it can't happen I just find it unlikely. When I got my TV I tried to buy the display model and they would not sell it. I even offered them full price for it because they didn't have any in stock. I had to end up getting a different brand of tv.

    How can I get the iTunes Store Search results to display by release year? I thought that I found it once but can't find a way to do it now. It seems pretty hard to find what the most recent release of a particular artist is.

    I've got the exact same issue.  I haven't done anything to cause it.  Like you, it's an iPad Mini (Retina) and there is no content displayed on my iTunes Store app - I get the framework of the page, as your right hand picture shows, but no items at all - white background for Music, Audiobooks and so on, black background for Films and TV.  Other apps with similar interfaces such as the App Store are not affected (yet, anyway).  The only way I can get the iTunes Store to show anything is by doing a search, or tapping the Top Charts icon, but this is hardly satisfactory.
    Having tried all the possible fixes I found on the internet to no avail, I've spent about 2 hours on the phone with Apple support during which time we went through them all again, and even wiped the iPad, set it up as a totally new one (and tried the iTunes Store without using my Apple ID, then with it), restored the iPad to 6 days ago in case the problem hadn't arisen then, and the problem has been totally unaffected each time and still remains.  Apple Support are equally stumped and want to generate a repair on it, which feels like it oughtn't to be necessary as this "feels" like a software issue rather than hardware (and luckily I can exchange it for a new one at the retailer - it's only 2 months old and has been cherished and hardly overworked at all).  But it's really, really odd and I would love to know what's happening, why, and how to fix it.  This is my first ever Apple product ....!

    I tried to buy Lion today. In the Store menu the email address for my Apple ID is correctly displayed. But when I try to purchase Lion, a panel pops up showing an Apple ID I've never heard of. I rebooted, logged out and back in again, and the same email shows up. When I try to log in with my own account, I get the "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later.(4)" message. Any ideas about what could be causing this? I'm at my wits end and I'd really like to get Lion as soon as possible.

    The only thing they could do is to appoint me with an Apple expert
    Steps that I've done,
    Logout ->login
    Logout -> reboot -> login
    Logout -> delete all MAS's plists -> reboot -> login
    Logout -> delete all MAS apps -> reboot -> login
    Create a new partition -> install SL -> login
    They all failed the only step that I DIDN'T try is:
    Goto strangers Mac ->login -> purchase Lion -> go back to my Mac -> purchased -> download Lion
    So if you can find someone's computer try this step!!

    I'm a new convert to the iPhone and iTunes world and generally I find things are easy to use and it's easy to get answers to questions
    if I get a little confused,however I do have one question that I can't seem to find an answer to.
    I am a big comedy fan and lately I have been downloading episodes of my favorite shows from the iTunes store but one thing I find
    annoying is that if I go to the store,click on tv shows,then comedy,iTunes displays items available in 'Recent Bestsellers' order by default,
    I can click the arrow in the corner and it will display them in alphabetical order for me but if I click on an item to view the synopsis of the
    particular episode then use the back arrow to return to the category iTunes has changed it back again!
    Is there any way that I can change it to display items alphabetically by default? I can't seem to find any option for doing so but maybe
    I wasn't looking hard enough,may seem a trivial issue but if I want to find an episode of a series that isn't that popular I have to go looking for it.

    I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the issue you are describing. If a movie from the iTunes Store supports multiple languages, they can usually be changed as outlined in the following article:

  • Store display completely  messed up!

    Hi out there!
    After installing Itunes 9.0.0.70 the store has a kind of malfunction! Nothing is correct displayed. All you can see are some frames and text. If you try to click on a item an error appears (~ Network connection is interrupted)

    Yes, I'm getting this as well. I think it started for me quite recently, either when the Beatles appeared in the store or when I bought an Apple TV a week or so ago.
    I've also seen similar effects in some web pages in Safari.
    The problem isn't consistent tho, sometimes the pages in iTunes look okay.
