In AP3 How To Make One Area Same Color As Another?

Sorry for dumb newbie question but I am not familiar with AP3 editing tools yet....just loaded it last night.
How do I set a color reference point on the photo (source color) and then apply that same color selectively to another area of the photo?

I don't know if copying a part of a photo to another part of the photo is what you are looking for.
But have you tried the Clone brush?
Just press X to call the Repair/Clone brush dialog, select "Clone" at the top of the dialog.
Move your brush over the source part of the picture and Alt-click there.
Then move the mouse to the target position in the pick and begin brushing.
This copies the contents of the source area to the target area. Try varying the sliders in the dialog to adapt the brush to your needs.

I have an object set to 60% opacity. I have a text box layered on top of that with white text. I would the object to be LESS transparent (90%opacity) where it lies under the text box. How can I do this? thank you.

Like Peter says, you can duplicate the object, reduce or adjust the shape to sit where you want it less transparent, set it to 30% opacity and maybe add a basic feather so there isn't a hard edge. Or you could try using a gradient feather within the object and adjust the sliders to suit, but this might be less precise.

Double click the layer icon in the layers panel. Then hit the create mask button at the bottom of the panel (lower red circle). Then with the layer mask selected (upper red circle, notice the black outline shwoing you are working the mask, not the layer), use the gradient tool to make a gradient as shown in the icon preview. Then save for web as PNG24.

How to make number list same color?

I have a Number List where the first four numbers are black and the last seven are red. I started with a bulleted list. The first few words for each bullet are red and then may change to black for less emphasis. There is a line between each bullet. Meaning, I had to add the bullet for each line (to get the extra line between).
I then highlighted everything and changed to Numbered List. Now I can't get the first four numbers to be red. Any suggestions?

You aren't working the clean way.
Inserting a blank line to get 'the extra line spacing' is a reminder from the typewriter era.
With Word Processor applications, the clean way is to define the 'line spacing' or the 'space after a paragraph'.
These two features are well described in *_Pages User Guide_* (pages #89 & 90 in the English version).

I wish to add that I'm not sure of the used application. You posted in the Numbers '09 forum but numbered lists are mostly items of Pages documents. This is why I responded about Pages numbered lists.

Slide durations are not changeable on a slide-by-slide basis.

You will have to be a little more specific about account assignment. Not sure what kind of document you are concerned about.
For G/L accounts, the account assignment (Field Statu groups) is done in customizing under SPRO -> Finacial accounting -> Document -> Line Item -> Maintain Field Status Variant. The settings for the fields to be displayed can be maintained here.
You need to know the field status variant used for the account. This can be found in transaction FS00 under the create/bank/interest tab. You can also reach the maintenance transaction for the variant by double clicking on it.

How to make one dvd from several camcoder dvd's. I got a dvd camcoder, to be able to play them into DVD player I had to finalize my disks. Now I got several DVD's whith short files and terrible custom camera menu. I'd like to make it more presentable.
The main problem is I dont want to recode my vob files. So Final Cut and other editing soft is bad idea.
Is there any soft on mac I could reauthor my DVD's?

How to copy one column BLOB value into another column of another database.
BLOB value contains word document.
I thought of copy the BLOB value into a text file and then update the new column value by the same text in textfile. Will this work?

BLOB fields contains binary data. I don't think you can do this
Also if I view the BLOB as text. Can I copy it and insert into the new database.

          According to the WLS documents for Distributed Destination:
          When one member becomes unavalibale due a server failure, traffic is then redirected toward other avaliable destination members in the set.
          Currently, I created two queues and defined two JMS Servers (JMSServer1, JMSServer2). These two JMS Servers are in same distributed destination (JMSDes1).
          My question is
          1) when the JMSServer1 is shutdown, How WLS marked it unavaliable? And How WLS makes it leave the JMSDes1? (If you can know where I can find the documents, it will be greate).
          2) After the JMSServer1 is recycled and is active, how WLS markes it avaliable and makes it join the JMSDes1 again?

how can i make one or more a partions at a raid system?
i will make the partions at a 250gb raid. one with 120gb for the bootsector, and the other for documents, etc.
is there a hwo to anywhere? dont find one?

O.K., i was looking the hole day to get that partions on a raid working.
to make the partions on each HD with the same volume, this is no problem. when you then create the first raid, works fine. but when you make the second raid, you get a massage, that this raid is not found.
then you see both raids at the disc utilty, but only at the first you seen the volumen down under, by the second not. the first works, the second is not avabiele.
so, now i have only one big mirrowed raid for my boot sector, and its runs fast, quick and without big noise... thats what i want, and the second big raid for my files.
2 raids at one mac pro with 4 hd. one with 2 x 250 gb hd for the bootsector, and the other with 2 x 500gb for files

SQL Query (updateable report) - Can't figure out how to make one

Hi folks,
Can someone tell me how to make a report where the data can be updated? Not an interactive report, a SQL report that selects only one row. The only options in the drop down I see are "SQL Query" and "SQL Query (PL/SQL function body returning SQL query)", but I have a report elsewhere that says it's type is "SQL Query (updateable report)", but I can't remember how to do it :(

How to make hyperlinks the same colour

Hi,
I'm pretty new to indesign and i'm slowly picking it up. In my excitement of getting my work done I started hyperlinking some links in my content. Only problem is that the colour is not consistent for the hyperlinks as I had to do them one by one and thus the colours are slighty off. Is there a way I can select all hyperlinks and make them the same colour?

Go to the Swatches panel and in the menu click on "Add Unnamed Colours" (unless you already have them in your swatches menu). Then rationalise those swatches by deleting them and replacing them with the one you want. From now on use that swatch to make your hyperlink. Better yet use a style for it.
