In app Google YouTube ads circumvent restrictions!

I have an 11 year old son who has an older ipod touch. I found out today that he was able to access Google and do internet searches despite the fact that I have enabled all the restrictions. Here's how he did it:
He has a minecraft app called CraftedMC. This is a simple app that provides information for how to play the minecraft game. This app recently began displaying advertising encouraging users to install the new YouTube app. Clicking this ad does nothing. But the ad includes a little information button in the bottom left corner that (when tapped) says "Ads by Google ". If you tap the symbol, it opens up a browser window (of some sort) with a web page displayed that says:
Google / admob
Ad Preferences for Apps
At the bottom of this Google/admob page there are links to "Google Home", "Terms of Service", "Privacy", and "Help". If you tap on "Google Home" it takes you to the Google mobile home page where you can search the web, search images, search places, search news, and more.
So my son was able to browse the internet despite the fact that I have enabled all the restrictions that the ipod has to offer. Safari is OFF, YouTube is OFF, iTunes is OFF, Installing Apps is OFF, Deleting Apps is OFF, Location Changes are OFF, Accounts Changes are OFF, In-App Purchases are OFF, Ratings are all enabled as CLEAN, PG, TV-PG, and 12+. Multiplayer Games are OFF and Adding Friends is OFF.
I am upset that this advertising allows the restrictions to be circumvented. He was able to search google images and found quite a number of explicit images inappropriate for an 11 year old. I have disabled Safari and have not installed any other browsers. I have been careful to make sure that all the apps installed do not have browsing capabilities. But now I have to watch every ad to make sure they also don't introduce browsing ability?? Ridiculous and impossible.
This should be fixed.

That feature was introduced in Safari for iOS 7, which the 4G can't get.
You will have to install a browser that has those controls

i have resolved the issue.
I had to close down the App Store, re-open it, and in the purchases tab the error disappeared and the option to resume the download was there again. However, I have spent the last 3 days opening and closing the program, restarting my computer. There is obviously a problem with this because there are other users who've had the same issue. Its frustrating because Apple has already taken my $20. I could have easily gone to a store to buy it if I could.

TEXT DROPPING OUT ON GOOGLE, YOUTUBE, VIMEO

I have Premiere CS3 running on a new Toshiba laptop (AMD/4GB RAM) running Windows 7. My problem... I am able to export working movies to my laptop and they work perfectly, however... when I upload to an internet video service such as Google, YouTube, or Vimeo, some of the text drops out and nothing but black space is shown. Not all the text does this; just four lines.
What might I be doing wrong with these four text lines? Hopefully this is an easy one for some of the pros out there. Many thanks for the help.

Sorry to not really help here but I'd like to add that the problem extends further than Acrobat 7 (CS2) and on to the Adobe Core in older RIPS. specifically We saw this with CS3 Exported PDFs which were fine on screen in Acrobat but would drop or squish text through the RIP with a 3016 Adobe Core. (3016 effectively equals Acrobat7.) We never nailed the exact mechanisms to reproduce this behaviour but CS2 generated PDFs with subset fonts that were then combined with CS2 or CS3 and re-exported on the same page or PDF were always double-checked on plate. Our customer who was plagued by this when mixing CS2 and CS3 has fully migrated to CS3, and we're running with an APPE RIP, and havn't had one go bad since.

Google adsense ads no longer appear after latest update

Hello,
I just recently did quite a few updates through updater and now all my Google Adsense Ads disappeared. Well, they are still there, but solid blocks of color with no text. Other than the update, I didn't do anything else besides add some text to the pages. They worked fine beforehand.
If I delete them and re-add them, I get the same results. I waited over 24 hours to see if they would appear and they didn't. I emailed Google, with a generic form letter in return that didn't address the issue.
I'm hoping that the smart people on here maybe have experienced this and know what's going on. Thank you for any help you can provide!

How do I scan for a virus? Internet won't often connect to facebook, google, youtube and many other websites while others connect fine.

Serveral times a week I won't be able to connect with facebook, google, youtube and yahoo. Usually it will say:
"Invalid URL The requested URL "/", is invalid. Reference #9.64070f17.1344033131.59fe68f5"
I'm not even using a "/" in the address bar. I'll type in www.facebook.com and that message will pop up. There is also a little white page icon to the left of the address in the address bar. When I click on more info it says:
"The site isn't using SSL. This icon displays for http:// sites. Most sites don’t need to use SSL because they don’t handle sensitive information. Avoid entering sensitive information, such as your credit card information or bank login information, on the page. If sensitive information is being requested on a site not using SSL, consider contacting the website owner."
The same thing happens when I use Google Chrome or Safari. I'm up to date on all my updates. Sometime clearing my history works, but not always. Sometimes rebooting helps, but not always. Sometimes none of the websites mentioned will work. Sometimes only one mention won't work.
Any suggestions?

What are the firewall settings on your Vista? What puzzles me is that your steam connection is fine and yet you cannot browse the internet.
I am sure you have right clicked on the system tray icon (wireless connection) and chose to repair the connection right?

How to update the apps while disable Settings General Restrictions Installing Apps ??

Hi
I will give my old iPad to my mom and I would like to disable "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" so that she or other famliy kids will not unintentionally install some bad/garbage apps.
But I found a problem, without Apps Store, the apps already there will not be updated any more !! Am I right?
It seems that we need Apps Store for apps update, but disabling the "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" will remove the Apps Store.
Does anybody know any way to work around? I mean the apps already there could be update while "Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps" is disabled.

You can't upload from the video app, has to be in your camera roll.

Yes you can With the new update, the partnership wit Apple and YouTube ended. You need to go in the app store and download the new YouTube app. Good Luck!! Cheers!

You can't downgrade to a previous iOS version and you can't get the app that was included in iOS 5. Have you tried any of the other YouTube apps from the store ?

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Stoe and sign out and then sign back in
- Power off and then back on the router.
- Reset networks settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Could just be an Apple problem. So far I have seen another post today with same problem.

How to get rid of Pop Ups, Pop Unders and YouTube ads

Ever since AdBlock stopped working in Safari, I've searched til no end for another program, or extension, that will get rid of all pop ups, pop unders, and YouTube ads and banners for Safari. Nothing.
This astounds me because I've never known Mac gurus to not be on top of somthing like this. Are there any alternatives? I only use Safari and not Firefox or Chrome.
I've downloaded Glimmer Blocker but it doesn't stop pop-unders at all. Is there a hack to get it to? What is everyone else doing? I can't imagine people are just putting up with the bombardment of ads! Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
