In app purchase not transferring from iPhone to ipad

I recently bought a metronome app that has an in app purchase which I opted for on my iPhone.  It works as expected on the iPhone.  However, the same app on my iPad does not recognize the purchase... it prompts me to purchase the feature to enable it.  I tried removing the app from the iPad then resyncing it but that's no help.  When I check mu purchase histoty on my computer the purchase shows up but from the iPad, the in app purchase doesn't show up.  Anyone with similar experience have any suggestions?

This "should" fit into the "non-replenishable" category that would work with all of the user's ios devices.  The app is a demo that has the full functionality enabled with the in-app purchase.  I suppose it is possible that the developer misunderstood the classifications and set it up as replenishable by mistake. 
If this is the case, it could be avoided if Apple would simply clearly note in the App store which category the In-App purchase is . i.e, if a customer is paying $20 for an in app purchase, it may be OK with them if they can use it on multiple devices but not worth it if they must purchase it for each device.  They should be able to find out which it is before buying.

    Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

    Try resetting the devices.
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that didn't help, test on one of the devices.
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    If helped on one device, do the same for the other.

    Check to make sure that the In-App purchase can be downloaded again. The article below will assist you further. If you can still download it and not able to, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

    Subscriptions and replenishable In-App Purchase cannot be transferred or synced to another iOS device. Non-replenishable In-App Purchases  and auto-renewing subscriptions can be transferred to another iOS device authorized with your iTunes Store account. For example, if you transfer a game from an iPhone to an iPod touch, only the game levels will sync over, the extra ammo and experience points will not be transferred.
    Wanted to use the PS Express camara bundle (noise filter) on both iPad & iPhone. But at $4.99 for each device, no way.

    All my application data was copied over, except for 1 application, which was Pac-Man CE which also didn't transfer over my in-app purchases and is asking for me to pay again

    Transaction is not finished in my app that contains in app purchase, how do I debugg? I have been in contact with the apple support and the script in Actionscript 3.0 worked perfectly until I added four more items as in app purchase.
    Apple tell me:
    I’m not seeing the application make the finishTransaction call. If this call is not made, the transaction is incomplete. The next time the user attempts to make a purchase, they will see the alert - “You’ve areleady purchased this item and you can download it for free”.
    You state that only three lines of code were changed. That may be but maybe the existing portion of code is encountering a new situation that it didn’t expect. This is what debugging is all about. You may need to engage the services to help debug this issue.
    Please guide me to solve this problem. I work in Flash Professional and compile to AIR 16.

    Now,... I do have contacts and calendar that are on the iPhone but was not signed on to the cloud.  Do have an ID and PW. So I logged onto the cloud .....that turn on the cloud on the iPhone and did a backup. Is that what you mean when you say add "them there" on the iphone?

  • Notes Moved From iPhone to iPad

    I was trying to figure out how to sync up my note on my IPhone with the iPad. Last year when I first got the iPad I was able to sync my iPhone with the IPad. When I would write notes on the iPhone 3GS it would update the notes on the iPad whenever they were both in WiFi. At some point this changed and two days ago I went to sync the notes back up through the cloud I guess?
    Everything that I could check notes on in the setting was checked and everything was fine. But when I went back into the iPhone settings to try to figure out what I checked to synced them up I ended up loseing all notes on the phone. All I had done was uncheck notes under my email accounts and they just disappeared! I tried rechecking it under the email accounts but they did not come back. They are all in the iPad so their not gone. But what happened? The Notes had not been checked under my email accounts to begin with on my phone. So I dont understand why after turning notes on in the iPad, turning notes back off under email accounts on the phone deleted them all? It won't even show me the Accounts tab in the notes app like it did when I had first turned notes on under email accounts. I have that option on the iPad but it disappeared on the phone after turning notes back off in the phone.
    I'd like to get it back to the way things were where I could update notes in the iPad and iPhone at the same time. It made things so much easier...
    A little bit of info, my iPhone has never been updated because of not having a proper computer. I've plugged the phone into computer when I first got it, added music and it hasn't been plugged into a computer since. The iPad is a used first gen iPad I got it completely reset with nothing on it from my mother. And the iPad also has never been plugged into the computer since I have owned it. So it not like I've updated anything and lost my notes. I just turned notes on under Cloud and everywhere else I could find to turn Notes on under in both the iPad and iPhone. Then when I went into the setting for iphone after the notes got onto the iPad, and turned off the notes under email accounts, they just up and disappeared from the iPhone and I am confuzzled =/
    Every problem I've ever had I have been able to find answers too online, but I've yet to come across anyone who did exactly what I have done to loose all my notes on my iPhone but keep all notes on the iPad?

    Something I just now remembered, I DO NOT have THE CLOUD on my iPhone because it has never been updated. Cloud is only on the iPad. Could that be why this happened?

    One way is to download the app My Contacts Backup on your old iPad.  Use the app to back up your contacts as a vCard attachment to an email.  Send the email to yourself, then open the email on your new iPad and tap the attachment to import the contacts.

    I have read through topics and there is nothing the same, update recently to ios4 , credited my iTunes account with a voucher , downloaded a album and three songs, none of which are showing on my iPhone in purchased playlist or anywhere on the phone. The money has been debited and I even have confirmation receipts. I rang the iPhone apple support line and after 35 mins on hold was told to email support as they could not help me. I have now sent two emails and was promised a reply within 24 hours, it's now been over 50 hours and I am getting extremely annoyed. I had no problem with os3 as this is how all my music was purchased as I don't use a computer regularly.

    Same issue here! No help from anyone. I even repurchased a song at my expense and after download it just vanishes! Is this an ios4 glitch? I don't see any similar posts either.

    You have already been given the best options in the links already given. You can not regularly sync data between the devices with Lotus or iTunes alone. As outlined in the support documents Notes requires iCloud, Macs or a PC running Outlook for syncing Notes. Contacts can be done with Windows XP's Address Book, Contacts in Win7/Vista or OutLook.
    Alternatively your only other option is to sync your iPhone with iTunes and let it create a Backup. Once the back up is done connect the iPad then select it in iTunes. From the iPads Summary Pane select Restore and when prompted select the iPhone's backup. This is will change all the iPad's data, settings and sync settings to be the same as the iPhone's. Any data saved to the iPad will be lost. This is a one time transfer and not a good method to keep the 2 devices in sync.

    Syncing an existing app on iTunes to a different device is like adding it new to that device.
    You must enter-configure your specific info.

  • Documents to Go Desktop App will not sync with iPhone and iPad

    This user tip might help you understand how accounts work with Address Book.
    First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
    Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
    If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
