In app purchase test user

Hii,
I wrote source code of IAP , also I added test user for sandbox environment.
But In this method:
-(void)productsRequest:(SKProductsRequest *)request didReceiveResponse:(SKProductsResponse *)response
and response.products.count return 0 , why?
what I didnt do well ?
Please help!

If I try to login from Settings->Store, it asks for my credit info which I'm sure is not necessary.
Apple had this to say about that on 8.28.09:
"Setting up Test Accounts for Testing In App Purchase
Before testing In App Purchase in your application, you need to create an In App Test User in iTunes Connect—you should not use other accounts as doing so will result in prompts to enter your credit card number and other information.
Here is how to properly set up your test user for testing In App Purchase..."
Please read all the latest info at the link and good luck w/your app.

  • Error during in-app purchase testing download

    Hello,
I've done an in-app with  my Viewer Builder v 1.5 and I created the Product ID and all the necessary  informations at my iTunes Connect Account. However, when I test the  purchase in my iPad with a test account, the box "ERROR DURING PURCHASE - Please  try again later" appears.
All the other  tests, like single folio and multi-folio free issues, it's ok to  me.
    Someone at the same point?
    Regards,
    Filipe  Speck

    Bob,
    answering your questions:
    - Did you use the same Product ID when creating the in-app purchase and publishing the folio?
Yes, I'm using the same Product ID. So, after publishing the folio, it appears at my in-app test.
    - Are the retail folios set as public?
If I publish a free issue, I can test the download. The problem is when I set it as retail. The issue and the price appears, but when I try to make the purchase, after I confirm my purchase with an Apple test user, with the [Environment: Sandbox], it says: "ERROR DURING PURCHASE - Please try again later"
    - Are your in-app purchases cleared for sale?
I think so. When I published, I've set as Public, Retail and the same Product ID I used at iTunnes Connect. So, when I'm testing at my in-app, the folio appears. Is there any other place I have to go?
    Regards,
    Filipe.

  • In app Purchase testing not working..

I made an app with iphone and ipad version. I added the code for the in-app purchase in both versions, in the iphone app everything went well but in the ipad version when i tap the buy button it will not show any alert that asks me the account(test acount's username and password). I tried verifying if I got the correct productID and I did get the correct one. Can someone point me to the right direction in solving this issue?
    Thanks.

  • The first in-app purchase to app as "ready to sale"

    Hi,
I have one app ready to sale (viewer type multi-issue) and now I did create the in-app purchase to upload a folio as retail issue within it.
I read in Itunes connect guide that the first time I upload the in-app-purchase need to be together the new version of app.
Then, I create the new branded app - viewer type: Multi-issue (not multi-issue with subscription) - and I did the sand box test with ipa. All works well.
But when I try upload the new version app I get this  from application Loader. Please, see the image attached
Please, Could one tell me more about these steps. Is possible start a in-app-purchase to a app as "ready to sale"?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi Felipe,
If I'm understanding correctly, you are trying to get a retail issue approved for an app that is already "Ready for Sale," right?
If so, you should be able to create an in-app purchase, test it on your developer build, and submit it to Apple without updating your app.  The language you are referring to from Apple is intended for those that are sending their app in for the first time.  It is not uncommon to include an in-app purchase at that time, too.
    Hope that helps!

  • In-app purchase: Error message when adding a test storekit user

Hi, I'm running into the "The email address you entered already belongs to an existing Apple account. Please try again." when I try to add a test user for in-app purchases. I used an email associated with an existing Apple-id.
I'm running into "Could not convert Apple ID account to iTunes store account." when trying to add a test user with an email-id that doesn't have an Apple-id with it.
I have enabled "in app" purchases and added an in-app-purchasable product id using itunesconnect.
Using the programmer-portal, I've also configured the app-id of the app to enable store kit in-app purchases
I'm assuming that I need to signin with the test-user account for the code to receive the storekit productsRequest:disReceiveResponse callback. However, I haven't been able to create the test user
Does anyone know why both scenarios (described on top) are resulting in an error message ?

If I try to login from Settings->Store, it asks for my credit info which I'm sure is not necessary.

Try a soft-reset and see if it works after your phone has restarted (it seems ot have fixed the error for a number of people on here) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

  • Cant in app purchase because it says: Environment sandbox.  not a test user account

When I try to make an in app purchase it says "this is not a test user account.  Please create a new account in the sandbox environment. Environment: Sandbox"
What does this mean?  Why am I getting this all of a sudden when I have not had this issue before last update?

I found on another question and answer to my question posted above: hold the top and bottom buttons at the same time to reset the iPad and this worked!  Yay!

Common on jailbroken iPhones, not so on non-jailbroken iPhones. Thus, if your phone is not jailbroken, restoring from backup will hopefully fix the issue.

  • In App Purchase An unknown error has occurred with test user account

I have created a test app that has in app purchasing. I am able to connect to the store and verify my product ID's. I then use my test user account to purchase a product. And guess what... it works... the first time. If I try to use the test user account to buy another product (the same product or a different one) then I get a pop up that says
    "An unknown error has occurred"
with a "Cancel" and "Retry" option. If I retry then I get the same error. After hitting cancel I get the error:
Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=0 UserInfo=0x161180 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"
    Any ideas?

I am having the same problem with my test account on multiple versions of iPhones. Any idea? Would this error affect real users?

  • In-app purchase final testing

    Hi,
I've developed Windows (Phone) Store app with in-app purchases and now I am going to release it. I just wanted to ask, whether is there any last possibility to test the IAPs. App is now hidden on the store, and I can download it to a device, and if I try
to buy a product, some payment is required. So is there any way, to buy it without the payment required, or to refund it afterwards? - Paying for test buys seem a bit silly to me...
    Thanks

Yes, I've thought about it too, but I cannot be sure, it works the same way as paid IAP - afaik you are not forced to add payment method when buying an IAP for 0, so it might be slightly different.
I was just wondering if I could test similarly to other platforms (ie. google play has "tester" users, who have to enter the same payment information (credit card number etc.), but are never really charged for IAPs)
This also prevents me from testing this functionality in app updates - I can test on beta, and then I have to believe it works.

You can contact iTunes and ASK for a refund. Then make make an exception to their all sale are final policy.
Refunds from the App Store or iTunes - Apple Club
