I should have never done the Grave mistake of downloading Disastrous iOS6. The maps are not working at all. Also, they have moved YouTube Icon from new version.I am using Iphone 4S.

Apple Maps (IOS 6)

Hi There,
I've updated my iphone to IOS 6 and now google maps had been replaced by "Apple Maps". the problem I'm facing now that when i try to find a directions between 2 places (in the middle east) a message appears saying that "Direction not available". Although, in IOS 5 (Google Maps) it was working wounderfully and it gave me the directions between any to drop pins I choose.
does any one know what to do ?? I tried to dwonload other maps applications like (Google earth) but it does not give me the option to choose the directions between to drop pins.

Bing Maps offers a very good maps service with Bird's Eye, a feature similar to Flyover. It's arguably better than Google Maps.

A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, elect the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
Step 3
If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.

From the App Store menu bar, select

Click Here enter destinations, link to page in iWeb or iFrame it by clicking on "Link to Page" from Google map. This may seem ironic but if you are looking for something the best way to find it is by searching Google. For instance Googling "google map directions" will send you to referenced page. for a sub-$20 app I find it hard to believe you find it hard to believe Apple hasn't integrated this feature into the software.

No matter what address I enter, my new iPhone 6 maps app says "directions not available." I've tried a hard reset, but that didn't help. My location is shown on the map, but it will not map another location.

Google Maps is a 3rd party map solution. I suggest checking with their support page and see if they support directions in the UAE. Only they, or someone that has used them in the UAE could answer your question. Good luck.

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.

I experience error while using maps & selecting two destinations (start & end). The error message I get is 'Direction Not Available (Directions could not be found between these locations).

Try resetting your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then tap Settings > General > Software Update
