In APPS who to control the name of XML ouput

For all apps we have APPCPNAM Env variable for output name.
For XML PUBLISHER the output name is like
<SHORTNAME CONC>REQID<NUM>.<FORMAT FILE> .
There is any way to control the file name ?

I check There is env parm that call "APPCPNAM=USER.REQID"
that is for all CONCURRENT PROGRAM execpt for XML PUBLISHER.
I also try to open SR but ORACLE SAID it's CUSTOM.

This happens automatically in Win XP or Vista....

Only a very few Apps have the option/preference to do that in OSX, not sure if any MS APPs do or not.
Maybe it would be closer to what you want though, to instead of opening the APP, drag say the Word® doc you want to the Word® icon in the Dock, which runs Word, opens the document, and skips the Open Dialog.

Not sure why a tablet would need a Core i5 or a Core i7, particularly given that it would shorten battery life dramatically, but you can submit your suggestion to Apple here:

Is there an app that can control the ringer volume by the time of day. Like say i had work. Is there an app that can automaticly change the ringer volume on certain days at times you input to lower the ringer volume?

I have added the one custom field by Application Enhancement Tool (AET).
The name of custom field has been added in the data base table as ZZFLD000004 by AET.
I need to add the some meaningful name like that ZMYPROB.
How can I control the name of custom field in the database field through AET?

Got the answer.
Need to click on the Enable Expert mode, then custom field name will be editable.

I'm stupid....how do you play game apps? what controls the action?

i'd like to get into some of the games offered in the app store but i'm ignorant when it comes to controling the action.

It depends completely on the game. Every game will have a different way of controlling it. Some use the mouse, some use keys on the keyboard, and some use both. You'll need to look at the game you're interested in and see what it uses.

return false;Here is my code that opens the popup window for my page to download a word document by JavaScript. Right now it downloads the correct file but names it servername.doc. I would like to change it to formTitle.doc. Is there a way I could do that through code or is it server style?

I realize this, I googled read about it but all the examples I have found completely redo the process, html uploading the file etc. I have no idea what you're talking about. HTML is just a markup language. With regard to file uploading it only provides you a <form> and a <input type="file"> to represent a file chooser and with regard to file downloading it only provides you an <a> element to represent a download link or a <form> and <button> element to represent a download button. It has completely no capabilities to process a file upload or download. It is the server side code which does that, Java/JSP/Servlet for example.
My question was if there is a way to keep my html keep the way the file is accessed and changing the name.My answer was under each: if you want to try this with JavaScript, please realize that JavaScript != Java. With other words, you're here at a Java forum at the wrong place. At any way, I don't see why you insist to do this in JavaScript. It's a client side scripting language.

Controlling the name of a PDF split

I need to keep a consitant number of digits in the name of the PDF. When I split a document, it increments. How can I make the names be either 3 or 4 digits consistantly.
Need:
PDF_0001.pdf (page 1)
PDF_0002.pdf (page 2)
PDF_0003.pdf (page 3)
PDF_0010.pdf (page 10)
PDF_0011.pdf (page11)
PDF_0100.pdf (page 100)
PDF_1000.pdf (page 1000)

This can only be done if you split the file using a script. You can't change the default naming convention of Acrobat.

How can I programatically control the names of files output from Labview into .pdf format (ie with Adobe PDF Writer or Distiller)?

I would like to save some data forms for a standard test controlled with labview in a pdf format. Due to the large number of forms and test reports, I would like to have Labview automatically assign the .pdf file name based on test number already contained in the labview code. How can I do this.
Note: This question is very similar to:
"Labview and Adobe Acrobat output" posted by John Balone on 1/26/2000. The reponses offered good suggestions but it is not clear to me how to implement them.

GeeTasks is another tease because it's iPhone only. You would think someone would make a simple planner to see a week, month and year at a glance. I'm in the entertainment industry and need to manage schedules by days, not hours. I want a view with months at a time (a line for each day, not little blocks) so at a glance I can see which weeks I'm gone etc. The same for income. Since I'm not salaried, I want to see at a glance when this royalty check is due and that bill is due so I can get an overall picture for planning. I'm sure many self employed people, particularly independent contractors and artistic types need this. I can't be the only one. Every app I've tried (and there have been many) has too many windows to navigate for every little entry. I don't want that much detail for every little thing.

I'm a little worried that my ibook might be running hotter than normal and am wondering if anyone knows of any problems that have occurred from ibooks overheating.
Apple says the operating temps are between 50-95 degrees F. Mine is running, consistently, between 90 and 120F. Usually I use either a stand on my lap or bed, or on a desk/table (with and w/o the stand). I have not been looking at this extensively, mostly I'm just wondering if people have heard of ibooks overheating to such an extent that it causes physical and/or operating problems.

Can I control the spacing before and after a signature?

When using the Mail app, can I control the spacing before and after a signature? It seems like the app adds space, but it doesn't add the same amount every time.

The only way I can think of to maintain equla spacing between the text ov vartying lengths and the vertical lines is to put each icon/text pair in it's own frame fitted to content, make each vertical line a separate object, then select them all and distribute the spacing.

App store working but can't find any apps I type in the search. Was working fine until yesterday

I have an Iphone 5 and NO problems until today. I was still able to go to the app store thru my phone and type in apps in the search field and was able to download apps... However I can still download apps right now but anything I type in the search field it can't be found.. Even if I type in apps names that I already downloaded. Or apps that I know the name of that exist... It seems it searches for a couple seconds, then stops and the screen just stays white... HELP!!!!

In the name of hearing loss and equal access, there needs to be a balance control for people who have decreased hearing in one ear only. It is STILL not available in itunes YET, despite MUCH clamor. WE NEED BALANCE/Pan/L-R control!

OK, there's been complaining about this for YEARS, and now I have a relative who has extreme hearing loss in one ear (not deaf) and usually compensates by turning up the balance on her speakers/ipod to the left or right side in order to compensate.
Also, as a musician and a guitar teacher, I make teaching audio tracks that have a particular part on the left or the right side only, and which needs to be "muted" by panning to the opposite side, then the student can play to the backing track without that part. Of course, then they can adjust the balance back and check themselves. This is also done with a LOT of jazz teaching exercises, etc...
Apple-PLEASE give us an elegant, easy to get to way of adjusting balance WITHIN ITUNES. Most of us us professional grade equipment and sound interfaces, and care deeply about the quality of sounds we make. we do NOT want to have to keep going into Prefs in order to adjust balance, and a LOT of high end sound interfaces don't allow that anyways anymore.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix this Apple. It should be easy, it should be done in the name of compassion for those with one sided hearing loss if for no other reason, but I've outlined other reasons to do it as well.
AND I'll repeat this for the people who won't read what I wrote---WE DO NOT NEED TO BE TOLD TO "ADJUST IT UNDER PREFERENCES"---that defeats the point of having a simple solution, and it certainly won't work on an ipod.
HELP! You guys can fix this IMMEDIATELY if you will just DO IT! I cannot stress how important it is to the music community as a whole...
Why has this not been done before now? Even the cheapest, sorryest stereo receivers, players, etc., in the world have ALWAYS had a "balance" control along with a "bass" and "treble" even at their simplist. Its PAST time for iTunes to become something better. WAY PAST.

SOLUTION:
Iam pointing t0 windows7 os.
1) go to control panel
2) open hardware and sound
3) In that open Devices and printers
4)In that u can find Apple Iphone.
5) now right click on this --> Hardware --> Properties --> General --> Uninstall --> ok.
6) now unplug and plug in ur iphone again.There u go u iphone name changes to its original name.

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems.
