In chat everytime I recieve a message I get an error message saying Quick Time crashed.
I play on a websit called FUBAR.com. I have a private chat box and anytime I receive a message, I get an error message bar at the top of my screen that reads "The Quick Time Plug-In has Crashed" and to the right are 2 options to RELOAD the page or SUBMIT crash report. I have done both with no solution. I have uninstalled FireFox and reinstalled it, disabled add ons, installed all plug in and windows updates. This only happens when using Mozilla FireFox it doesn't happen in Internet Explorer. I must have a solution or I won't want to use FireFox until there is a fix. What do I do? Please
hello, when this is happening after you've already updated firefox with your admin account, try to delete the ''updates'' folder and ''active-update.xml & updates.xml'' within the %localappdata% folder of your restricted account like it is described in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update#Software_Update_not_working_properly

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have had 4 mac computers and after years of downloading songs from itunes, I keep recieving a message that I need to set up an account. when I try to make a new account, i get an error that says i already have an account.
Have you tried checking the Store drop-down menu in the iTunes interface to see if you are signed in the existing account?

if you use windows then it seems that the windows user you use dont have writing rights to all the required dirs that itunes would use for temp storage of downloads such as the update
I would contact who ever you use for user management and rights on the computer
and get their help to grant your windows user the required rights -

I have tried every way I know possible to download iTunes. I have loaded Quicktime stand alone, I have loaded iTunes to my hard drive and tried to start the install from there and not the internet. I have turned off all firewalls and virus/spyware software. I continue to get Error Message 3, Quick Time failed to install. I am very frustrated with this problem as well as the run around I'm getting from Apple. I can't even update my iPod. I thought my iPod purchase was going to be great. But after the short battery life issue and now the software issue. I am starting to re-think my purchase. Does anyone have a solution to the software problem that works??? == when I first downloaded itI have the same problem on a fresh install of 3.6.3 on Windows Vista. Once I changed my home page from the Firefox/google start page to my iGoogle page, it would not load on the first try and displayed "The connection was reset.
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." The page loaded properly when I pressed retry or the refresh icon.
The same error message shows when I click on a link from an e-mail in Outlook.
One thing that helped was I put https at the beginning of my homepage, instead of http, and it now loads on the first time. -

Everytime I try to update I get a1402 error message
Every time I try to update my Adobe Reader 9 to 10 I get this error message: Error 1402 "Could not open key. Verify that you have sufficent access to that key". What does this mean? How do I get access to the key?

Basically, uninstall, reboot, reinstall the newer version.
One or more of your registry keys is honked.
If the regular Add / Remove programs doesn't remove all of it, use msicuu2.exe you can download it from Microsoft.
This will remove all Adobe entries and registry keys. Then just do a fresh install. -
When i try to update my iphone with the new software, it will give me a message that says connection time timed out, and then it says some other little things about a network not having a connection. i checked all of that and it is all fine. As soon as I open up Firefox - it crashes on me. It takes me at least two or three attempts. I downloaded Firefox from the Firefox website and also use it for Facebook. I am wondering if it is because I also alternate between using IE as well? While attempting to open my school e-text, a message popped up that if experiencing problems opening my e-text - then I should clear cache and cookies which I cannot do - because of the "Quick Time error message."
As you can see below, when I right click, I have no such option. In the User Account Settings, I'm operating as the "System Administrator".

I'm trying to open a file (video) and I get an error message, 2048. It's saying it's not a file that Quick Time understands. I downloaded the MPEG 2 playback component thinking that would fix the problem but nope. I'd appreciate any help here. Thank you.
