In classic view, I want new emails to appear at the bottom and scroll up automatically

I have Thunderbird 31.0, used in classic view. The top right pane is set to sort by date, latest at the top.
If I have several emails to read, I have to read them in reverse order to their arrival if I want to read the next in the list after deleting a read email. If I choose to move the cursor to read the least recent new email and then delete it, the focus changes to an already read email, not the next unread email, which is what I would prefer.
If I sort by date, newest at the bottom, the focus changes as I would like BUT new emails are hidden at the bottom of the pane until I use the scroll bar to access the new ones. This is irritating too!
Surely I cannot be the only one to see this as a problem.
Any suggestions - are there layout options I have missed.

What device are you using?
I assume you are talking about something other than the iPad?
Is there a sort order above the date column? Clicking on this can switch between Ascending and Descending order.

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Nope, there is no second row. There should be a scroll arrow "button" at the bottom and the top of that drop-down to allow you scroll, or you can use the scroll wheel on the mouse scroll further down (or back up).

Assuming that in this day and age you want security.
Setting up a new email account on mail, the password is entered for connecting to the in & outgoing servers before SSL is set. Before you can set SSL, mail connects to the servers so email password is transmitted unencrypted?
This seems a very obvious quirk/bug and something that I have always felt uncomfortable about.
Anyone else think this is not a good thing?

Actually it look like all apple devices have the same mail setup procedure, so are your email passwords all being sent over the network in plain text before you get the chance to set the SSL option?

You are trying to sync to other than the one iTunes library you can sync to. You can copy music from multiple library/computer if you use the manual method of syncing. That method is described here

If you want to make this computer/iTunes library your syncing computer/library you have to restore the iPod on this computer/library. Restoring erases the iPod.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

I want to send a response from the servlet and then call another servlet. can this happen. Here is my scenario.
1. Capture all the information from a form including an Email address and submit it to a servlet.
2. Now send a message to the browser that the request will be processed and mailed.
3. Now execute the request and give a mail to the mentioned Email.
Can this be done in any way even by calling another servlet from within a servlet or any other way.
Can any one Please help me out.

Are you confusing Titles and Filenames by any chance?
When you email you're sending a file. The email client sees the Filename. The title is in the Exif metadata of the file and the email app doesn't see this - neither will the Finder or filebrowser.
You can export (as above) and opt to use the Title as Filename - it's there at the Filename section.

You do not need to do anything - iPhoto always keeps the original and you can revert to it at any time
If you want to be able to see the original and the cropped version in iPhoto at the same time duplicate the photo (this does not really duplicate but simply starts a new edit stream for the photo - command-d) and crop the duplicate
