Acrobat 9 Missing in Design CS5

Hello everyone,
I've installed on trial basis Design CS5 on my iMac and of the software listed by Adobe.com. to be included in this suite, only Acrobat 9 is missing.
Can anyone tell me where have I gone wrong?

They are saying Acrobat 9 comes in a separate DVD. That means I will have to download it separately.

In Design CS5 and MDM plug-ins

We are running SAP MDM version 5.5 which is incompatible with In Design CS5. We are still a ways away from our 7.1 upgrade. But we are running CS5 on most of our machines, since the bulk of what we do is not MDM publishing. We have one MDM machine with In Design CS2 where we can create MDM publications. Then we take those publications to our CS5 machine for packaging. But we are running into the following informational message when opening it on the CS5 machine:
Missing Plug-ins
MDM PAPER MODULE CS3.PLN
The document "20-1472_11-11_Winter Catalog.indd" uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available on your system. Do you want to open anyway?
We hit OK to open the document. Then we try to Package the document and then we get this error and can't move forward:
This document cannot be packaged due to missing plug-ins. Please install or activate these plug-ins: MDM PAPER MODULE CS3.PLN.
We have the CS3 plug-in installed, but can't seem to get CS5 to recognize it. Is there a way for us to get this to work? Would it work for us to use the 7.1 CS5 plug-in?

In Design CS5.5 crashes when importing/placing a image

Just for good measure, create a new user on your computer and test in that user. If it fails, you have a software conflict of some sort or you need to reinstall. If it works, you still have some sort of problem in the original user.

How do I Download Adobe Standard Design CS5

I have a new computer and need to take my downloaded copy of Design CS5.5 and move it to my new one. Any thoughts?

Some time ago I purchased CS5 Creative suite. So far I used Photoshop. I desided to learn In design now. I am not able to open my In design. I downloaded In design again. Every thing seems Ok under downloading and installation, but I am still not able to open it (it stopps to open aften 5 seconds). Please help

In Design CS5.5 serial number missing

i have the Indesign CS5.5 installed in one machine, now i change the machine but i am missing the serial number so i can activate the new installation. i've tried to register my installed copy of Indesign but nothing changed and it's not listed on my purchased items in my Adobe account.

How to convert PM6.5 files into In-Design CS5

Hello Everyone,
I have some old PM 6.5 files, which I am trying to convert into In-design as PM is isolate. However, while converting I am getting this following "Error".
1) Tracking values were modified. Please check text composition in converted document.
No fill patterns are supported at this time.
The document uses the following fonts which are not currently available.
Benguiat
Bookman Medium
HelvBlack
Souvenir Lt BT
ITC Officina Sans Book
AGaramond
Univers
Univers Condensed

What you're finding is that opening PM files in ID is not perfect and depends very much on how complicated the PM file was. As for the fonts missing, you need to install them. None of them is included with Windows or Creative Suite. Copy them from your old machine and install them in the new one.

In design CS5 version d'essai impossible à télécharger!!!!!!

j ai l'habitude de travailler avec la version d'essai d'in Design ( travail ponctuel et impossible d'acheter la version definitive -à mes frais- pour le moment vu que je n ai pas encore mon contrat definitif), et jusqu a present, je n avais eu aucun probleme pour l utiliser plusieurs fois avec le meme email (jamais plus de 30 jours et a chaque fois, mes periodes de pauses etaient espacees de qqes semaines). Voila que je ne peux plus DU TOUT utiliser la version d'essai, même avec mon mail professionel (dont je ne me suis encore jamais servi pour in design), à chaque fois un message apparait me disant que ma licence est expirée.
Est ce que cela vous est arrivé? savez vous pourquoi? qqch a t il changé recemment?

Problème de téléchargement de la version ou d'ouverture du programme déjà installé ???
Je ne pense pas que la politique de Adobe est changé à ce sujet depuis des années.
Cela n'a rien à voir avec votre ID sur le site d'Adobe, mais avec l'ordinateur sur lequel le programme est installé.
Une fois votre période d'essai terminée, vous pouvez essayer de supprimer l'application, la réinstaller. Rien n'y fait.
La seule solution serait de réinitialiser votre disque dur chaque mois, avant chaque réinstallation. Mais à ce rythme, ça ne risque pas d'être très rentable !

In Design cs5 importing illustrator objects - problem

Hello everyone.
I have a problem with importing objects from illustrator to in design. The file is a ai format. It is a square with masqued black rectangle. The square has an outline 0.25 point set o middle of the path.
When i'm imoprting it to in design normally (with selected crop to bounding box) the object has an invisible outline. it only appears when the outline is set to middle in illustrator, when it's set to outside or inside, in design shows the content of the frame properly. please see the screenshot.
in eps file everything is ok. why's that?
can somebody help me solve the problem?

First, is display performace set to High Quality?
Does the object appear correctly if you print tha page or export to PDF? I've seen cases where art will pick up or lose a thin stroke on screen due to display interpolation. In these cases changing the zoom usually changes the apperance of the stroke.
Doe it work better if you change the cropping to Art?

In Design CS5 Problem

Guten Tag.
Ich brauche dringend Hilfe um mein InDesign CS5 wieder zum laufen zu bringen. Seit einiger Zeit funktioniert es nicht mehr, aber alle anderen Adobe Programme funktionieren, daher denke ich das es am InDesign selber legen muss..
Ich habe alles gemacht was man mir gesagt oder per Email gesendet hat und nichts von allem hat mir geholfen bis jetzt. Ich suche jemanden der mir endlich helfen kann mein Problem zu lösen.
Ich finde das nicht korrekt, einem Kunden zu sagen, dass man sich bei ihm meldet und danach 2 Monate nichts mehr hört. Als ich heute angerufen habe, sagte man mir, dass es keinen technischen Support mehr geben würde für das CS5.
Wie soll ich dann mein Problem lösen können?! Für das gibt es den technischen Support eigentlich. Um den Kunden, die nicht mehr weiter wissen oder ein Problem haben zu helfen....
Ich hoffe ich kann mich auf diese Weise verlassen und hoffe, dass Sie sich so schnell wie möglich mit mir in Verbindung setzten um mein Problem zu lösen.

How can I run In Design CS5 in German?

I have bought a german version of InDesign CS5, but when ever I install it, it only runs in english. Can someone let me know how I can switch it to the german version?

The language is determined by the serial number, the installer and possibly your system language setting. If the serial only supports English, then there simply is no way to install it in German. Otherwise double-check to select the correct language during install.

Von einem auf das andere Mal wird InDesign CS5 nicht mehr in Deutsch, sondern nur mehr in Englisch angezeigt. Trotz Neuinstallation bleibt weiterhin alles auf Englisch.
Der Rest der Suite wie Photoshop oder Bridge etc. wird alles korrekt in Deutsch angezeigt.

otherwise, uninstalling cs5, running the cleaner, restarting your computer and reinstalling the german versions may be your best option.

In Copy CS2 puede abrir archivos de In Design CS5?

You have to open the INDD file first in CS5 and export to IDML.
You have to open the IDML in CS4 and save it as INDD.
You have to export this INDD in CS4 and export it to INX.
You have to open that INX in CS3 and save it as INDD.
You have to export this INDD as INX again from CS3.
You have to open this INX in CS2 and save as INDD.
You must now expect massive changes compared from the original file.
Not a recommended doing.
