In Design download difficulties

Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.6.8) and I am trying to download the one month trial period In Design. It does not aloud me because it says that Adobe does not work anymore with this system but it is quite new so I am sure there must be a way... Can anyone help me, please?

10.6.8 is at least 5 years old. Your only option is to update to 10.7.5 in order to run the trial.

White papers and tutorials all say to check otn.oracle.com/bpel to find both needed files BPEL Process Manager and BPEL Designer downloads to run through tutorials. Process Manager link exists but page has no link to BPEL Designer. Where can this download be found?

In its current incarnation (RC8 release), the BPEL designer and the BPEL server are combined into one downloadable package. This will change with the RC9 release that will go out later this week.
Note: The current RC8 release of the resigner only works with Eclipse M9-RC2 (NOT GA). That incompatibility is addressed within the RC 9 delivery.

BPEL Designer Download, Eclipse Plugin Fails to Install
When installing the .exe, the download does not identify the proper version of Eclipse. It fails stating that the version required is at least 3.0, which is the only version install on my computer

This might be caused by the fact the fact that you have the platform version of eclipse. BPEL PM requires the SDK version (full download ~87MB).

Adobe CS6 Design Download Problem

I have purchased Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium for Windows. I was able to download some but not all of the programs. I receive an Adobe window message to indicate thatPhotoshop, InDesign and Flash Professional could not successful be downloaded. It contained this error summary.

The DF012 could also indicate a problem accessing the install files. If you continue to experience this error then please download a new copy of the install files from Adobe.com. You can download the trial for CS6 Design and Web Premium. The install files are identical to what is contained on the DVD.

This is not a free development tool. You have to purchase a subscription from Oracle Consulting and then ask for iDevelopment Accelerators Package.

You can download the trial installer directly.
You must be on a trial download page to use the links, otherwise you get an error message.
for example, load the following page: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us
before pasting the link into the address bar.

make sure there is no space in the link when you paste it.

Yes, always download on your home wifi or via cable connected to the computer. Downloading large files on Cellular is time consuming and risky as the file may not complete.
Are you getting any error messages?

PSE12 download difficulties with Windows Home Basic Vista SP2

After 4 attempts and 4 failures and equally 4 uninstall operations, I have yet to get a functional version of PSE12 purchased online at the Adobe website in Dec, 2013. Furthermore, my Adobe account does not list this purchase...YES, I do have a copy of the original purchase receipt both hard-copy printed, and pdf-copy-saved, at the time of purchase. And, yes, my Visa card provider lists Adobe posting this purchase. However, Adobe never emailed me to confirm my purchase nor give me a link to download the software! I did register my PSE12 serial number at my Adobe account site a few days later. That is the only information Adobe shows on my account regarding my as-yet-unobtained PSE12.
I have a 5 year old Dell Inspiron with Windows Home Basic Vista SP2 that also seems to have all the requirements to use PSE12. I have PSE6 now on the machine, and, really love its features. I do not view any video on this laptop, i.e. no movies or video games, just occasion short YouTube-type videos. This is word-processing and image-processing workhorse. I do a fair amount of PhotoShop work with still images, and, simply wanted the latest upgrade of PSE. Adobe was offering it at a good sale price.
I have been online to chat with Adobe telling me to go through the trial download version, then 'buy' it by giving the serial number. That worked once, but, did not generate a functional app. What is Error 105??? I have had at least two phone calls with Adobe, one with a rep who could not help, and, the other with a rep whose foreign accent was almost impossible to understand. I am hearing-inpaired, and, mere audio-volume enhancement is not always enough trying to speak with someone for whom English is not their native language.
So now what? I do not have high confidence that Adobe can or will fix this. I have posted several detailed reports at their security site because I was concerned that my downloads were being hijacked and possibly my credit card information compromised. They say they do not have my phone number, though it is posted at my Adobe account site. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe's pdf options are very good programs that I used for years, first with Apple computers, and, then after 2008 with a Windows PC. Has Adobe become overwhelmed with cyber-security problems? I'm about at the point where I want my money back. Can anyone suggest an image-application as good as PSE? Help!

Where can the latest Designer patch be downloaded that does not require an existing repository installation?
I want to install it on Vista, but 10.1.2.0 will not install on it for me.

I do not know what you want it for. But you can downlod a new tool that has an ERD and lots of other stuff from:

try it out. Youcan even migrate Designer repository to it.

Design: Downloading attachement using Mail adapter

Hi Experts
I am currently building an interface which requires attachment to be downloaded in XI box. Is this possible using sender mail adapter. Could someone validate the feasibility of the design.
Requirement in Brief
A bank is sending a file through e-mail as an attachment to a file system and XI has to move the file to target system using FTP adapter. Now we want automation on source end. Instead of manually downloading the file to file system we want file to be direcly posted to target system.
So few questions with regard to requirement:
1) Can I download the file from mail in XI and then post the downloded attachement to Target system.
Could someone please provide me with the steps for downloading the file to XI??

Machine embroidery design downloads into wrong files because of Photoshop elements 10.

My Machine Embroidery downloads go directly "save to" in the Elements 10 Photoshop. I do not want them there as they can not be read there. My download format is .Jef, but whenever I try to extract my files(no matter where I store them)and then try to open them, they keep coming up in the photoshop. Please help, I have been trying to fix this problem for several days. Kathy

Your browser's or e-mail download options should not have anything to do with PSE at all. If at all, you may at some point have opened files into a specific directory and now it's "stuck" on that, but that can easily be rectified by clearing caches, cookies and the history in most browsers. Beyond that I'm not quite sure what you are saying...

Download difficulties

The problems I have met are :- Photoshop CS5 will not open without Java SE 6 runtime which i am having **** of a job locating and downloading, Parallels 7 for Mac will not work and opening the internet is very slow. I have a 2 year old iMac running SL 10.6.8 I don't want to go and give this OS low marks until I have these problems sorted.

I had Parallels 7 and had the same problem and called Parallels. They had me go to the link below:

Then I clicked on 'download trial' and downloaded the installation file of Parallels Desktop.
After the download was completed, I installed Parallels Desktop by following the onscreen instructions.
Then I was able to launch Parallels Desktop successfully.
I launched Windows and Parallels Tools installs and then then I restarted Windows.
Problem was solved and now works perfectly!
P.S. Had no issue with activation code - Parrallels must use your current activation code and treat like software update.
