In design.exe application error 0xc000007b

I haven't used In design for a week or so and today when I tried to open it up I get an error message with the error code that is in the question. I have looked online but can't find an answer. Can anyone help? If I know what the error code is I may be able to resolve it. Thanks

CS6Service Manager.exe Application Error unable to start 0xc000007b

Have had this problem for couple of weeks. Uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled, still getting same error message. Hate to format and rebuild Windows 7, sure could use some advice.

Appreciate you pointing me in that direction, tried pasteing the files that they are refernecing with no luck at this point.
My CS6 Photoshop does run but every few minutes I get the CS6ServiceManger.exe application error (0xc000007b).
The same error appears on start up of Windows 7.
Service manager is in the start up, I suspect what ever is preventing this from running on start up is the source of the whole problem.
This has only become a problem on the lastest CS6 update.

The product was previously installed on this machine and worked fine. Today is did not load and said to re-install and I get the above error.

Setup.exe fails after the first 4-5 with application memory error:

Btw. I downloaded Designer 6i R4.1.1 from Matalink/Patches.
What happens when I run setup.exe is the following:
selecting Oracle Home -->
Choosing Oracle Repository and Designer Install Wizard -->
accepting default packages -->
accepting default specifying behaviour -->
accepting default Customization options -->
accepting default options for import/export tools -->
The program stops with a popup error message:
Oracle Installer: orainst.exe - Application Error.

Photoshop.exe 64bit error 0xc000007b on photoshop startup

I just got a new computer and installed a 15$ trial cd of master suite collection. The 32 bit version of photoshop works fine but when i click on a .psd file that is already created i get this error photoshop.exe 64bit error 0xc000007b the application need to be closed. Is there a solution
I using Windowss 7 Home pre 64bit.

That error is usually caused by a bad registry error.
You wrote that you installed Photoshop on the new computer. The next sentence you wrote you installed the master suite try out. Did you actually install CS4 then installed the master suite over that? Little confused here.
You cannot install the master suite over the CS4 already installed because the master suite already has CS4 installed as a package. That may be where your error is at.

SwitchBoard.exe - Application Error

After installing Creative Suite Design Premium, I am getting a SwitchBoard.exe-application error at boot up. How do I resolve this?

Hi, go to start then click run. Type msconfig, then a window will come up.
Now click on the startup tab. Then find the startup item " SwitchBoard "
Then untick the box, then click apply. then click restart. When you turn your computer back on a window will pop up. Click the tick box on the window what stops it from popping up next time.

Extend Script and Extension Manager are also giving me an error message.
Problem started when the latest Photoshop update came out.

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall the programs from scratch.

Does Word start in Safe Mode?
Press Win key + R, type "winword.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
If Word can start in Safe Mode, the issue should be related to 3rd-party add-ins, disable the suspicious add-ins to determine which one caused the problem.
You can also try repairing Office from Control Panel -> Programs and Features, check if this helps.

What does firefox.exe-application error mean? Firefox wont even open it just says this, and then click okay to terminate the problem.

When I go to open up Firefox, it does not open no matter what I try It just pops up this box that says Firefox.exe - application error.
Then it says the Instruction at "0x798377a9" referenced memory at "0x798377a9". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to termintate the program
What does this mean? And why cant I use Firefox. I can still use internet explorer just fine.

Win7 /Office Updates April 2015 - userinit.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018)

Hi all,
After updating our acceptence Windows 7 SP1 clients (april updates). We are unable to login the machine.
Error: userinit.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018)
After rebooting the machine 2times I'm able to login. When I shutdown the machine at the next boot i'm getting the same error again and i'm not able to logon.
I have no idea where to start. One by one uninstalling updates isn't an option because after a reboot it seems ok.
Any idea's? Help is welcome.

Uninstalling
KB3045999 works as a workaround like Wastashi said. We too have this problem.
@Karen Hu: Startup repair didn't find anything here and this is probably because the system boots properly but only after a user logs in the "Error: userinit.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018)"
appears. Safe mode works however and after I disabled all the startup items and rebooted I could successfully logon once, but this could be coincidence because sometimes after a reboot you can login as pointed out by Tim NL. However a few seconds
after I successfully logged in and saw the desktop, the pc rebooted spontaneously. Any idea what this could be causing? Virus scanner maybe?

Acrodist.exe application error

I installed Adobe Acrobat 7.0 successfully. But when I convert a word file into PDF file, a error message pop-up as " AcroDist.exe application error --- the instruction at "0x0048C9e5" referenced memory at "0x0190eb6c", The memory could not be "read" Click on OK to terminate the program "
If I click the program Acrobat Distiller, the same message box shows up.
I tried to uninstalled and re-installed. Couldn't solve the problem.

This problem came up on my laptop today and I have found a solution, at least on mine. I was getting the exact same error as above (with different memory locations) when I tried to start Distiller (Acrobat 7.0). It had worked fine for years. On mine it was limited to my specific user account. I could run Distiller fine from the Administrator account. I also created a new standard user account to test with and it ran fine from that one as well. But it wouldn't run from my personal account. So I knew it was something with that specific account.
To make a long story short, it ended up being a corrupt cache. You can find the cache in the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\Distiller 7\
What I did was just rename the old cache folder and let distiller recreate it. That fixed it. Good luck.

Rwrun.exe - Application Error while running Concurrent Requests in R12(Win)

Hi Gurus,
I am getting the Rwrun.exe Application error, whenever i am running a concurrent request. The thing, that i feel is: Probably, The concurrent requests that has the output file associated with them are the one that are running into error.
The following is the description of the error popup:
rwrun.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x663ed168" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program.
Click CANCEL to debug the program.
Due to this, am not able to submit any of the Reports.
Details of My installation:
Apps Version: Release 12
Platform: Windows XP SP2
Installed on: External HDD of 250GB
Addon Patches after install: None.
Has anybody faced this problem earlier?
Please help me out gurus..

RWRBE60.EXE - Application Error. The memory could not be written - URGENT !

Hi,
We are getting the error "RWRBE60.EXE - Application Error. The memory could not be written" in two of the 5 machines. That too, this error is encountered only some times and not always.
Scenario: The report builder generates the .PDF file and places it in the network path. The report is called from the forms 6i. We are using the Report Builder - 6.0.8.20.1.
This error is encountered in only 2 machines but not always.
It's a critical release issue. Could any let us know the possible solution?
