In-ear earphones missing silicon piece

About two months ago, I purchased some Apple in-ear earphones for my iPhone 3GS. Now, one of the silicon pieces that go over the in-ear speakers has fallen off and gone missing. I don't want to replace the whole set of earphones. Is there somewhere I can buy just a silicon earpiece in the right size?

Recommend me some in-ear earphones

I currently have the Apple in-ear earphones for iPhone 3G S. The problem that is well documented on these boards with Voice Control kicking in every 10-15 seconds when in the gym is driving me mad (something to do with moisture/sweat getting into them).
I'm therefore in the market for a decent set of in-ear (i.e. the ones you push right into your ear with the changeable rubber caps) earphones. Can someone recommend some?

Sennheiser CX300 - great headphones. They've got good quality sound but aren't so expensive (20-30 quid) that you'll mind wearing them at the gym.
Only issue is with running with them - tendency to get loud thuds every time your feet hit the ground - but this is an issue with all of the IEM type headphones.
I tend to use another pair of Sennheisers - the PMX 100 - which hook over the ears at the gym as they're better for running (although the ear pads do get saturated with sweat which is kind of nasty, but they are removable so I can at least clean them).

I've been using mine since I had the Nomad Jukebox .
And I've been recommending it to everyone since the old fourm days.
So I don't think comments that it breaks easily are true.
I've coiled it round my all players and it still sounds as good.
It's been coiled round my JB, Nomad IIc, Muvo .5G and now my Zen Micro 5G.
So it's been quite a journey for for this little Sony and I will definitely get another Sony when this one finally gives up the ghost.

I bought Xperia Z1 phone from Australia. but it has MH410C ear phone set. It doesn't have in-ear earphone set. I want in-ear head set. usally I like and choose to sony mobile for the sound with in-ear walkman earphone set. what is the solution for my problem..

Help Please Am I missing a Piece?

HI,
I am new to using Dreamweaver so I a little green about the
interface commands & definitions. Anyway, I have Photoshop CS3
and Dreamweaver CS3. I purchased some Web pare templates that are
in Photoshop, (PSD) documents. I can modify the document just fine,
but am not finding the way to turn it into a document that
dreamweaver can handle and open. Am I missing a piece of software
from the suite that does this? If Not what step am I missing?

Hissing noise when using in-ear earphones

I decided to upgrade from the Apple standard earphones of the Shuffle to some noise isolating in-ear earphones. Since the top range stuff (Shure, Etymotic) didnt quite fit into my budget I bought a pair of Creative EP-630 ($30) since I read some decent reviews on Amazon.
Now the earphones do live up to my expectations and deliver some great sound but the combination with the Shuffle gives me quite a headache. Plugging the earphones into my computer or some other (low budget) mp3 players they sound awesome, there is no background noise whatsoever and between songs or when you hit 'Pause' there is silence as it is supposed to be.
When I plug them into my shuffle however, it is far from the 'chrystal clear sound' that I expected. First, when you turn on the Shuffle, you hear two high pitched feeps, when you turn it of, you get a short stakkato of feeps that reminds me of the dial in procedure of old computer modems for the anlogue telephone line.
The biggest problem is of course the noise during playback, there is a constant high pitched, hissing, feeping background noise which becomes especially obvious during quiet parts, between songs and even if you hit 'Pause'! The same thing is described at the following site for another pair of (high quality) in-ear earphones:

The author there describes it as a 'grasshopper' noise, which is very much to the point when you hear it.
This is quite a disturbing result, considering all the raving reviews that Shuffle got for audio quality:

Now I am wondering if there is a faulty batch of Shuffles out there of which I happen to own one, or is it possible that there is a general problem of the Shuffle working together with these kind of earphones? The Shuffle using other earphones sounds great and my new in-ear earphones using other players also sound great... just the combination delivers unbearable audio.
I would appreciate any feedback, especially if anybody from Apple happens to come across this post!

Creative EP-635 Earphones damaged silicon earb

Hi Guys,
how the topic says i got a pair of the EP-635 Earphones. Man, the sound of them is awesome. But somehow one of the middle-sized earbuds got damaged. It had a rip in the earbud so it didn't hold properly in my ear and the sound was horrible. So I threw them away and put on the big-sized earbuds. Well ok, i can wear them, but if I wear them longer than 5 min my ears start hurting.
So what I need are a pair of the middle-sized silicone earbuds. Stupid I am, I threw the old ones in the garbadge.
Is it possible to get them somewhere in the internet separately or can I swap them against a new pair of earphones with the Creative support.
Please help.

I too am looking for replacement silicone earbuds for my EP-630 earbuds. Unfortunately I do not know where to buy covers that are OEM qualtiy, but I CAN tell you where NOT to buy them. I purchased a set of 2 replacement earbuds from a merchant on eBay. The earbud covers that merchant sells look very similar to the original earbud covers, but they are not the same quality or the same size. The replacement covers do not fit the earbuds the same as the originals did, and they will not stay in my ear!? Fortunately, the merchant has a no-questions-asked return policy, so I will be sending them back.
If anyone can tell me where to buy replacement earbud covers that are the same quality as the originals, please do!? I wrote to Creative about this problem. The representati've who wrote did not know where I could buy OEM replacement earbud covers, which seems ridiculous considering how many thousands of sets of earbuds Creative must sell. I think Creative should support its products by selling replacement earbud covers directly to its customers.

I sent an email to Creative's Customer Support. Below is their reply. It appears Creative wants us to have to buy an entire new set of earbuds instead of replacing the covers:
"Silicone tips are part of the earphone and are manufactured, by Creative, together with the earphone. They are neither sold nor manufactured separately.
"Only option is to either purchase a complete brand new set to replace the old earphones or replace the worn out/lost silicone tips with generic ones."

WFMLRSVCApp.ear File missing while 11g Release 2 Installing

Hello people, I tried to install Oracle 11g Release 2, but there is a message that WFMLRSVCApp.ear File is missing, can anyone tell me why is this happening, I downloaded the two parts and extracted them in the same folder but I'm still getting this message.
Please help me.

Missing Black Pieces on bottom of Laptop...?

I'm missing two of the little black rubber pieces on the bottom of my MacBook Pro and cannot find them. It is EXTREMELY annoying. Is there a way to buy more from Apple? I REALLY need them. it bothers me alot.

Call them and ask, I would think they would be the same, as why produce different feet for the same model year if you don't need too?
Seems like a waste to me.

Strange display problems: lines, missing icons, pieces of windows that stay on screen...

My white 24" iMac has recently started having problems with the display. Because I'm able to capture it with Grab and due to the nature of the problem, it doens't appear to be hardware related. But, not sure. See the screen cap I took below as an example of one of the problems I'm seeing.
I'll try to describe a few other display anomalies I'm having:
Moving a window leaves the background that it was on intact all around the edge of the window, where the drop shadow would be.
The Dock, which is set to be hidden until my cursor moves into that area, will appear sometimes with some of the icons missing, but, the shadows for those icons are visible on the Dock. Or, there are weird lines and patterns around each icon.
While using Safari and a few other apps, I'll frequently get colored lines and patterns that suddenly appear across the screen, and then disappear when my cursor moves over that part of the screen.
When I click on the minimize button, the window uses the Genie effect to move into the Dock, but, often leaves a bit of the window on the screen. It will sometimes clear when I drag another window over the area, or the window I'm dragging will start looking like it does in the screen cap below.
My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT. I updated the firmware to ROM Revision 3467, but, it didn't seem to make any difference. The only think I can recall doing before this problem happened is I installed the iTunes 10.4.1 update. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
This iMac is about 4.5 years old, so, it's not covered by warranty anymore which means I can't take it to an Apple Store for troubleshooting. I'm hoping someone knows how I can fix this. It just started doing this a week ago. Thanks!

My iMac does not have a separate video card, so, I was not able to replace it as suggested above. Apparently with the Intel iMacs, or at least the one I have, the video "card" is actually a few chips on the logic board. I was told the only way to fix this is to replace the entire logic board, which is too costly (no longer within warranty).
I did a bit of research and discovered that the problem seems to be related to how hot the computer gets. I noticed this, too. When I started using my iMac first thing in the day, no problems. As the day progressed and the computer heated up, I'd start having all these video problems.
I found a utility called smcFanControl which allows you to speed up the mininim fan speeds inside the computer, which helps keep it cooler. Since I installed this, I've had very few video problems. So, it appears to have "solved" my problem for now.
I wish there was a better solution than this band-aid fix, but, it's a lot cheaper than having the logic board replaced or buying a new iMac, the only choices I was given by Apple. Hope it works for you, too!

The installer is not helping much. It could allow to specify other directory to search for, like Microsoft Windows installer. Also right now, if after installation start we move the extra directories all in the same folder installation started, the installer will not see the new files even if we click "retry".

BPELPortlet.ear file missing

I installed a midtier version of BPEL PM 10.1.2.0.0 and ran IRCA.bat and installed ORABPEL schema in the midtier infrastructure. Now I wanted to integrate BPEL and Portal but can't find the BPELPortlet.ear as specified in Oracle® BPEL Process Manager Developers Guide 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) B14448-02. Chapter 20 talks about deploying the BPELPortlet.ear located inside Oracle_
Home\integration\orabpel\system\services\lib\BPELPortlet.ear file. but I don't see the BPELPortlet.ear where else can I get the .ear file. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

So you saying in 10.1.2.0.0 no functionality is provided to integrate with Portal. And have to build the Portlet itself. But I read it some where that there is a functionality provided to integrate BPEL with OracleAS Portal 10.1.2.0.0 and I assume some kind of providers already provided to be registered in Portal.
