In-Ear with the full control like the original ear-phones?

Hi I been looking for a set of in-ears that got the same control as the original ear-phones that comes with the iPhone, with volume, skip song & talk. I don't want the apple in-ear's. I appreciate answers

Not sure what you're talking about... It works just the way I expect it to work on my PC.
What you say makes a lot of sense though. Integration with system features is a Good Thing.
I do wish Windows would provide a text vocalization tool; I have had to install a very old one. Say hi to (the voice of) Siri for me.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.

This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. At the same time a blank message with an attachment named "Attachment_information.txt" will remain in the user's Drafts folder. The "Attachment_information.txt" will contain information about the virus detected in the message.

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

at a customer’s site I’ve a problem with a fresh installation of Backup Exec 2014. Every backup (full or incremental) always reports the following
error: “An unexpected error occurred when cleaning up snapshot volumes. Confirm that all snapped volumes are correctly re-synchronized with the original volumes.”.
It’s not a Backup Exec problem itself, also backups using “Windows Server Backup” failing with the same error.
On this site I have three servers; the error is only generated for one of them. Here’s a short overview:
Server1: Windows Server 2012 R2, latest patchlevel, physical machine, Domain Controller and Fileserver. Backup Exec is installed on this machine,
backup is written directly to SAS tape loader. There error is generated on this server.
Server2: Windows Server 2008 R2, latest patchlevel, virtual machine, running on Citrix Xen Server 6.2. Used for remote desktop services, no errors
on this server.
Server3: Windows Server 2012 R2, latest patchlevel, virtual machine, database server with some SQL Instances, no errors on this server.
As I said, error is reported only on server1, no matter if it is a full or an incremental backup. During the backup I found the following errors

Installed latest Service Pack for Backup Exec
Rebooted the server
vssadmin list writers do not show any errors
consult eventid.net for other possible solutions
no limits set for vaa

Yes, once the content is in iTunes on your computer, just click it to play and authorise your computer to play it by entering your Dad's ID and password.
Log into your own account and start purchasing your own content which will then be added to the existing content.

Still images interspersed in video all with the original audio

I have what I think should be a very simple task. I have a 1 hour video of a school show. I want the soundtrack to remain intact. I simply want to take still images and replace the video images for certain chunks of the school show. The result should be a smooth original audio with the original video interrupted for 4-5 second periods with other images. For a bonus, it would be nice if the stills cross faded to the original video (without affecting the audio).
I have been trying to get the precision editor to let me do this and cannot get it to happen cleanly and reliably. I keep getting the audio duplicated or dropped audio. And if I try to add cross fades it is even worse. The help video on the precision editor does not make it clear to me how to do this.
In some PC programs, I know you can split the video independently of the audio and then delete the video clip and replace it with a still image. It does not look like iMovie is that intuitive.
If there is another way to do this, I would love to know about it.

In iMovie Preferences, make sure you have turned on Advanced Tools.
Drag the photo to the video frame where you want it and drop it. When a pop-up menu comes up, choose Cutaway.

I installed a new SSD, My ipod is not syncing with the original HD

I recently installed a new Crucial M4 SSD. My iTunes library is synced to my HD (/e:) My iPod touch 4g wants to sync with my SSD and does not recognize the original HD is still in my computer. How can I get my iPod to sync with the original HD that contains my iTunes library?

When all the media is in your iTunes library/on the computer:
- Connect the iPod to the comp;uter and make a backup by righ clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTubes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.
An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. gtthe iPod seen the new SSD/iTunes as a new iTunes library.

In full Editor, go to Edit>Preferences>General and check "Allow Floating Documents in Full Edit Mode"
Open the image so that you see it in the project bin
Right click the image thumbnail in the project bin, and duplicate. It will come in as xxxcopy
On the Arrange icon at the top, select 2-up. You should see the original and the duplicate in the work area

How do I restart the SNMP agents with the original command line options?

I'm creating an application that changes the SNMP trap target configuration files and then restarts the SNMP agent. I'm currently working with the mibiisa agent. I want to make sure that I restart the service with the new trap targets but with the original command line options. How can I restart the mibiisa service with the same command line options that it originally loaded with?

It is not "Network Time" that is the problem, but actually "SystemStarter." SystemStarter is an interim kludge to enable the work or the old StartupItems until they can be converted to LaunchDaemons or LaunchAgents controlled by launchd. Launcd calls SystemStarter to launch all the unconverted StartupItems. ntpd is now under the control of launchd directly.
Launchctl is the command to load and unload the plist files, but I don't think it has a mechanism to restart a daemon.
There are start and stop commands in launchctl, but the man page indicates that they are for debugging purposes.
I also imagine you could just kill the ntp daemon and let it restart with new settings. It is most likely set to "keepAlive" so that it will automatically restart.

I am trying to stop using my I-pod under my husband's I-Tune account. It was set up under his account and the only way I can use it under my account is to erase all of the songs my husband loaded on for me. You don't have to use the same iCloud account in order to track all your devices. You just have to sign into the iCloud account being used on the device you are trying to track in order to track it. When you sign in on icloud.com and open Find My iPhone, you will see all the devices with Find My iPhone enabled that are using the account you signed in with. To track a device using a different account, simply sign out, then sign back in using the ID the new device is using.
The Find My iPhone app works the same way. It will display devices based on the iCloud account you sign in with on the app. To track a device using a different account, sign out, then sign back in with the iCloud ID that the new device is using.

If I choose to write metadata to the original files, is that sidecar files or does the XMP file show separately?

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.
