In Elements 13, how do I turn off default setting that sends my usage info to Adobe?
Vendors of proprietary software want to track everything you do. Adobe says that it is possible to turn off sending info to them, but doesn't include any info on how to do it.
Go to the main page of adobe.com and sign in if you aren't already signed in, then click Manage Account>Sign In again>Security & Privacy>Desktop App Usage Information.

What the ****? I didnt ask it to do that. invasion of my proivacy ****** ********Instead of Ignore, you must have touched the button for Message. How do I turn off the feature that allows the duplication of App downloads to more than one phone? As in my wife downloads an app and I get a dulpicate download on my phone.
To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. Looking at web pages some key words are underlined or marked. Moving the cursor across them brings out a flag with directions to ask what it is. It is very annoying and I spend more time trying to get rid of them than enjoying the reading. This was not there several years ago but has become increasingly frequent. How can I turn this OFF. I am not a computer expert.
Are you perhaps using Google Calendar as your main calendar service? There is an option in Google Calendar to have text alerts sent to your phone for events. Log into Google Calendar on your computer and disable that feature.
If you're using a different calendar service, see if they have a similar set up.
