In Filemaker Pro, I can't select multiple records in a database.

I need to select 30 of 100 records, then try to find a Hide Unselected command. This way I can print alist of just the 30 records I selected, then revert back to showing the whole database. In Appleworks, I could hold the Command or Shift keys to do this.
I realize this is probably really simple, but I appreciate any help.

Never mind.
I made a copy of the database so I wouldn't screw up the real one.
I used the Omit Records Command to delete the ones I didn't need, then printed it out, as the database was showing just the records I wanted.
I also used the Show Ommitted Only command to print the others as I needed that list also.
After selecting Show All Records, it reverted back to the original full datbase.
I realize now that Omit is not the same as Delete.
It's good to get the solution to a problem, even better when you figure it out yourself.

Can't select multiple slices at a time

Hello,
I'm having a bit of a technical problem. I have used my slice tool several times before with no problems whatsoever. However, I recently ran into a weird problem with my slice tool. After I slice an image up using the slice tool, I am no longer able to select mutliple slices at the same time. When I select one slice, and hold down the shift key to select another slice, the other slice is just selected alone. I reinstalled Photoshop and I also reverted back to the default settings; all to no avail. I'm currently using Photoshop 7.0.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?

If i remember right, in photoshop 7, you can only select multiple slices
using the save for web function in photoshop 7 or in Image Ready.
I don't remember be able to select multiple slices in photoshop 7 proper
outside the save for web dialog.

Hi, i can't select multiple video clips to import into iMovie, it only lets me import one video at a time. Apple please fix in next update or if anyone has a solution please post.

Obviously you can not select the video to import until after iMovie populates the list of videos that are available to be imported

Iam using following statement for fetching MULTIPLE records from infotype 0008. In Attributes if i declare LDB as pnp and selection screen as 900, then iam not getting any records.
Instead of th selection screen 900 is empty. then records will getting properly.

between pn-begda and pn-endda.

Can't select multiple layers

This sounds very obvious, I know.
But! I have lost the ability to select multiple layers. Shift, Command, Control Click. Nothing works. I can't select them with the selection box like I used to either. There must be a setting or something that I accidentally clicked? If I can't select multiple layers I basically can't do anything including grouping or linking or merging layers in additon to a bunch of other stuff that is crutial!
This is driving me batty.

To supplement this it might also be a conflict with a third party software as well.
If the keyboard tmethsd of resetting the preferences doesn't work then
1. Quit Photoshop
2.Go to User/username/Library/Preferences/ Adobe Photoshop CS4 Settings and trash the settings folder, the whole folder not just the contents of the folder..
3. Start Photoshop. Photoshop creates a new preferences file.
Also if you recently updated your system there might be a conflict with the systems key board shortcuts, Like Spotlight, Universal access, dashboard and Exposé or asI said before it could be something like Quicken.
Have you installed anything lately.

I have a tree structure which is in the table.When I open the node of the tree,all the subnodes are coming as one-one records in the table.I want to slect multiple record from this table.I applied onLeadSelect for this table,I can select only 1 record from the table.
Can any one plz suggest me how to select multiple records from the table so that I can get all the data of those selected record.

In my case, there is a table structure which has to be updated with values after validating a key. i don't think there is any RFC available now. do i need to create bapi/rfc for that?

Locking multiple records in a database table at a time

Hi Experts,
   I have a requirement to lock multiple records in the database table for writing. I have created lock object in SE11. But with this we have only 2 possibilities either lock entire table or lock a single record at a time.
   My requirement is, i have table with key field PROJECTID. I want more than one project to be locked, but not the complete table. I dont have any other field in the table to compare.

Try with FOR UPDATE in the SELECT sentence.
SELECT FOR UPDATE *
    INTO Internal_Table
FROM Table
WHERE Conditions.
UPDATE "Table_name" FROM TABLE Internal_Table.
COMMIT WORK.
This sentence blocks only the records that satisfy of the WHERE conditions (not the entire table) and unlocks after commit work.
