In Footer text elements are spliting in smartform

Hi,
In smartform, I am using text elements for printing gross / net totals in the Main window -> Table -> Footer. Now problem I am facing is all the set of elements are breaking from page to page. I want it print in one page with out any page break. How should I do that. Please suggest.

Hi,
In the footer text , in the output options tab ..there is a check box "Page protection".. Check that..
Documentation for "Page protection"
In some cases you may want to avoid that text is divided by a page    
break. Therefore, you can protect text sections with a page protection.

    Do you mean that you want to know how many Text-elements are there in a specific Script or you want to know how many max Text-Elements a script can have?
    I believe there is no limit on this......
    To know all the Text Elements in a Script......goto SE71....press F4 Help on Script Name....Choose Last option for Custom developed Scripts.....and you can open the complete Script details & Code in a Line Editor...After that you can serach/look for the text elements

  • Error in script : text elements are missing

    Hi ,
      In my print programs iam uaing lots of text elements for a
    zform. I have copied the zform into zform1 and using the same print program and modified the zform1 according to my needs.
    I am not using all the text elements in my zform1 script which is passed from the print program.
    When i execute my zform1 by using the transaction which inturn uses that print program it gives more messages saying 512, 513 , 515 text elements are missing in form Zform1.
    Can anyone tell without touching the print program can i do anything on the script zform1 to reslove this problem.

    Ya, whatever Narendra told is right. U nedd to have the text elements in the script if you are calling the same from print program. Just maitain all the text elements with no text it.
    Eg:

    /: 515

    Depending on what system you are in, you may be able to check the Page Protection checkbox in the Table node's Output Options tab.  (I'm in 4.6C and this option is not available, but it may be available in your system).
    Or you can try checking the No Page Break checkbox in your Line Type definition.

  • Some text elements are missing

    Hi there!
    From some time (I didn't noticed exactly) some text elements disappered in collaboration iviews.
    For example if I try to go to some info-site collaboration room and add announcement, new window is opened with no texts, but only input fields to be filled. There's also no text on 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons. So it's hard to understand what input field is for what purpose :o)
    Why could it happen?
    We're on SAP EP SP13 on WebAS 6.40, KM and Coll are also SP13.

    I managed to regenerate projects. There's some bug with java on my notebook, but I did it directly on portal server maschine.
    But the problem still persist. I even tried to restart servlet engine, no luck ;o(

  • Workbook Text Elements are missing After Upgrade to BI7.0

    I am unable to see "Text Elements" in Workbook which is migrated from BW3.x to BI 7.0.
    I am using Windows XP, MS-office 2007, GUI 710 FEP5.
    workbook is working fine with Bex 3.0
    I had checked all the pre- requisite for BI 7.0 and BEx .
    Please advise me.

    This is an Known issue while upgrading WB's to BI7 and we have posted the same to SAP.
    Try this procedure,
    Open your 3.x Wb in BI7-bex - Click okie on Bex upgrade popup.
    Click on change variables in your WB now and enter necessary variable values.
    Now save you WB in BI7-Bex . Try re opening the same WB,
    You have to see your text elements now after refresh.
    if u save the same WB, w/o refresh or change varaibles, you will again miss text elements.
    The below is the reply from SAP.
    " As following to our call, I was able to open the workbook sap_test2( test WB that SAP has created in our system to replicate the problem) and to refresh it in the latest patch 17. However after saving it without
    refreshing it, I was not able to open the workbook. so we are investigating the issue.however as temporary workaround you can the following
    1. Eenable the "Refresh workbook on open" property. this will prevent
    user from saving workbook without refreshing
    2. You can apply a ABAP note which disallow users to upgrade 3.x
    workbooks. But the note is currently in pilot released."
    Ohoo, I think you are from Satyam..the above is the latest info that we got from SAP.

  • After Saving Workbook Text Elements are All Blank

    I created a query, made some adjustments in Analyzer and saved the workbook.  Upon going back into my workbook, all my text elements were blank and when I open them, the constants and filter values are all unchecked.  What could have caused these to be removed.  All the structures are still there.

    The problem is strange.
    But try executing the workbook again.
    Once executed, edit the query and save and execute again.
    Again save the workbook.
    This is just trying again.

    You can use FM 'READ_TEXT'.
    pass 'ST' for ID.
    and 'TEXT' for OBJECT
    and pass the name of text element to NAME u will get the
    text element.

  • I am using Firefox 4.01, and when i print the page to pdf, all text elements are gone

    I installed the add-on from the below url:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/printpdf/.
    Then Click File->Print to PDF,
    The pdf file created and open the file, you will find all text are gone.
    This add-on works fine in Firefox 3.5 and 3.6.
    is it a bug of firefox 4.01?

    I have implemented note: 14861471 and I think you have also done the same.
    Don't try to print TDS for date before  01.04.2010 as the validation is there in print *program J_1IEWT_CERT and Line no 116 at my end, please check at your end with below text in program J_1iewt_cert.
    IF ZPDATE-LOW >= '20100401'
    If you will print TDS for date after 1st april 2010, then your issue will be resolved.

  • Text elements not centered anymore once project goes live

    Hi guys,
    I've discovered Edge Animate a few days ago and I really love that it looks and feels a lot like After Effects - you should exchange and implement some functions of EA to AE (i.e. the curves easing options) & vice versa though
    What I went through, until know
    First of all, I am a Worpdress user using a responsive theme and the Edge Suite plug in.
    I've created a typo animation using a custom licensed web font and it took me a while to get it to work properly - the web-kit generated by the myfonts.com kit builder didnt' work with EA, so I had to let fontsquirrel create one instead. Now, the SVG font file gets exported upon export, but the EOT, WOFF and TTF files don't - not sure if it's a bug, but it's an easy thing to copy the files via FTP to the "../uploads/edge_suite/project/..." folder in order to fix this.
    My Problem
    After uploading the animation to my server via the Edge Suite plug in, approx. 50% of the text elements are not in the right place anymore. The affected elements are all offset by a fixed amount of pixels vertically, while they actually should be centered. When I run the HTML file of the exported web animation locally, everything's fine though.
    The problem occurs in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and on the iPhone.
    Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

    It seems like it is related to Wordpress or the Edge Suite plug in.

    I've uploaded the animation (using web publishing) to a folder on my server, and everything is fine.

    I have analysed the code of the animation being rendered on my Wordpress site, but the CSS coordinates all correspond to the parameters inside EA.
    I've also installed the Edge Suite plug on a different Wordpress installation (a complete different site) of mine, and the results are even worse. It seems like the origin of some elements is being tossed around space.
    That said, I'm clueless.

    I have a requirement to add a new text element on the personal data tab of the candidate profile. I have tried this through application configuration method, but the existing Text elements are not sufficient to accomodate the text matter that i need to insert.
    I want some additional elements where they can accomodate my new text.
    Is there a possibility of doing this without making the compeonent a 'Z' one?

    Hi Suresh,
    Yes there is one possibility to do this .After you accomodated the new text thru the component config and
    if you are still left with the text which needs to be added then create an enhancement and add an text element and bind it to the attribute just below the text element required and in the modify view method of the view bind the text to the attribute.
    All this has to be done thru enhancement in the std component.

         i have a problem in the scripts, the script is customized one but driver program is standard one.
    few text element which are in the page windows but not appering in the output, how can we make them to appear in the output.
    can we add new text element without modifying driver program in script,

    i havent found any write_form function call in the standard driver program.i think is it is system generated driver program for MEDRUCK.
    in my custom form few text elements are defined alredy but they are not appearing in the output, i tried by putting some hardcoded text in those text elements but it doesnt worked.
    what might be the reason.
    can any one know about this help me solving this problem.

  • Maintaining Text Elements in Original vs. Logon Language

    For report RFIDPL06, we are adding a new text element. The button "Maintain in Original Language" was clicked and the new text element was added to language "DE".
    Our question: How do we switch to "Maintain in Logon Language" so that we can add the new text element in language "EN"?
    The RFIDPL06 original language is "DE".
    Any help appreciated.
    We are using SE38 to maintain the text elements. The new text element is in English so we do not need a translation. We need to be able to maintain the text element in English. The logon language is English but the text elements are in German.
    How do we switch to maintain the text elements in English?

  • Text Elements

    Hi,
    I have created a report in English language.
    I have translated the text elements of Selection screen to German.
    Original languge of the program is showing as EN.
    But when I login in to Italian language (Say any language where text elements are not translated), text elements of selection screen are displayed in GERMAN Language. But the original language of the report is ENGLISH. As no translation of text elements in italian, Selection screen text elements should be displayed in ENGLISH language.
    But here it is displaying as GERMAN Language.
    Why this is happening?

    There 2 Possiblities
    1. If the text elements on the selection screen are only translated in DE then it will always display it in DE as SAP treats if no lang translation found in that logon lang then it goes to DE Lang
    2. If for e.g, if you do not translate it in DE and then Logon in Italian then it will display in EN , I mean Only EN Language Maintained
        no translation at all then it will be seen in EN, but if you maintain it in DE then even if you logon in any other lang with no translation in that lang then it will be shown in DE only
