In GarageBand '08 after 2 seconds the recording volume fades to a low level

When I record the volume fades in... It goes to recording just fine then within two seconds it fades to low volume!!!??? I havnt touched any settings it worked fine when i first got it! Then all of the sudden i go to record and it does this... it did the same thing on my last comp last year , i took it in for a repair and asked the mac genius he did something and it worked fine again...
didnt know what he did..i thought it was push the follow project tempo button, (tried this it doesnt work?) Has anyone had this problem?

Try this...
Go to "System Preferences" and select "Sound" under the "Hardware" panel. Select "Input" on the bar and in the "Internal microphone" section, un-click the box on the "Use Ambient Noise Reduction" area. This fixed the problem with the sound "fading out" after 2 seconds on a record.

Have had the Turbo Droid for only 3 days and just tried to shoot video. Twice it worked, but more often it seems to begin recording, but shuts off after one second without recording anything.

Haven't seen any error messages. Occasionallly, but only rarely, the video will record 1-2 frames, but most of the time it just shuts down. I have tried it with and without the rubber-grip case; taking off the case had no effect. The video still would not function.
When you tap the video camera icon, it tries to shoot video and seems to begin to record, but one (or two) second(s) later, it beeps and stops. Rarely with a frame or so of video; mostly nothing is recorded.
The still camera works great! Love being able to touch it anywhere to grab a snap.
BTW, my partner and I got identical phones at the same time last week. His video has the exact same problems as my phone.
Another point: I downloaded the Google Camera and can shoot video just fine through that camera. But not through the stock Motorola camera that came with the Droid Turbos.
I'm starting to think we got phones from a defective batch.
What do you think?

My data is all in the hard drive .. . I even tried the Internet recovery but no use !!!! but still no respons and the recovery and macintosh hd is now lock! but earlier only the recovery is lock and after both of them is lock. i can reinstall,... and i didnt try to back up any data bec i dont know how? so please help me to resolve my prroblem.?

Sorry, possibly you need a new hard drive or try reformating. First
you can try something like http://www.alsoft.com/diskwarrior/ it has been known to repair disk that DiskUtility could not. YMMV and they don't give it away.
If Disk Warrior can not repair then you need to Reformate the drive. Make sure you have a back-up in place no matter what.

Note the time in your Mac's menu bar or some other accurate timepiece. Then, press the button to put the MBA to sleep. Wait until the cursor disappears and for all indications that the Mac appears to be asleep.
Then, wake the Mac the way you normally wake it.
Then, find the Console app - it is in your Utilities folder and looks like this
You can find it by selecting Utilities from the Finder's Go menu.
Open Console.
If the log list column on the left is not already displayed, show the log list by selecting Show Log List from Console's View menu.
Locate system.log in the list and select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you must find the entries relevant to your Mac's sleep problem. To do that type the words sleep cause in the Filter field at the upper left of the Console window:
That will cause all log entries to be hidden, except for the entries containing those words. The last entry in the list will correspond to the last time you woke the Mac. It will have a time stamp in the form hh:mm:ss later than the time you noted in the Mac's menu bar prior to putting it to sleep.
Make note of that exact time in hours, minutes, and seconds.
Next: Clear the filter field by clicking the x in the above screenshot. It should then look like this:

Why is it auto-adjusting the record volume when I don't want it to?

I start playing and I want the levels to almost clip. It adjusts to a lower record volume. Why? I have the compression and noise gate off.

That's odd. You're using the internal mic and you have the Automatic Level unchecked? If you turn the slider up high enough it should clip like crazy. I don't know why it would back the level down.

We have laptop Toshiba Qosmio-X300-13R with the chamber built in webcamera. But there is a question.
I start the native utility or Skype, the first seconds all is visible, and then the image darkens and looks narrowly in the monitor that like it is visible my silhouette. If I apply different options, it does not occur. It is necessary to press the button to apply, the chamber again for 5-10 seconds shows brightly and is light. And then again on 95 % darkness... I had the same problem. . . fortunately I have a solution =)
After you've opened your webcam application like yahoo webcam and the screen goes black, what I do is I open the Toshiba camera assistant software utility and click properties
From there click backlit compensation and night mode. The screen would black out again after an hour or so, when that happens repeat the process, if the night mode is already checked, uncheck, and then check again then click ok when the screen comes to.

Today i have bought Photoshop CC , after installing creativ cloud desktopmanager, i have started the download of Photoshop CC via Creativ Cloud.
At the starting process from Photoshop i received an error message "Konnte Photoshop nicht initialisiere, weil ein Programmfehler aufgetreten ist."
Could not initialize Photoshop because a program error occurred at point setup color conversion table ....!
Today i have 2 times reinstalled Photoshop CC and Creative Cloud. The error occurred every time.
I have many log files like, but no idea.

Hi guys i put my computer to sleep today, and then afterl ike 30 secs my compuer just starting making the loudest fan noise, as iff the computer was hot, it was almost liek running the hardware test but not as loud, So i did just that ran the test and everythign passed on the extended test. Ive read some things on this, but no conclusions or reasons why it does this, just some odd anomalies.. should i be worried?

my G5 locked up yesterday. I did a hard shutdown. When I restarted the system start, but it would not go through the boot up process. then the fan took off. We had a similar problem with a couple of G5s when they were first installed. Our tech swapped out the RAM and it was resolved. I have had my G5 for almost 3 years and this is the first major problem I have had with it.

I have a ringtone that works great on my computer but the volume is very soft on the phone. I have adjusted the volume on the phone but the ringtone volume is still too low. Is there any way to adjust the volume of a ringtone?

I have managed to sync a ringtone to my ne i phone 5C but the volume is way too soft.
The sound is great on my computer but hard to hear at all on the phone. I have tried turning up the volume button on the phone but it doesn' do anything for the ringtone. Any ideas on how to solve this problem. The ringtone is "calypso blackberry" and I am not able to locate it in the Apple store ringtones. This should be so simple and it is making me nuts.

EDIT: Also in System Preferences > Sound > Input > you can select the input & adjust the volume accordingly as long as it's plugged in.

Recording on GarageBand goes crackly after 30 seconds?

I have started using a studio projects microphone called an LSM (USB) with GarageBand and after 30 seconds recording the audio goes crackly and distorted until I re-start GB, thought it was cause by to much power consumption from the USB mic so I tried a HP USB 2.0 powered hub but still no joy!!

If you have reset by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears and that doesn't help, try closing the app completely, then reboot the iPad. If that doesn't work, you might want to consider deleting the app and download it again. Backup your iPad with iCloud or iTunes and sync with iTunes if you delete the app so that you can restore the PDF files and books to the device.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You might have a PDF file that is corrupt and it might be causing this and if that's the problem, you will ultimately have to track down which file it is and delete it or this may never get resolved. That is probably unlikely, but it is a possibility nonetheless.

We have a Virtual Machine as our test server that installed the OAT and on that Virtual machine we had created a Repository folder. I was able to record the script in that folder early today when I logged into the server to test out the installation.
I now have a problem on my local machine when I try to open the script that I created early today. I got a message saying that I did not have enough privillege to modify the script although I was granted full access to the repository. It seems to me that the script was owned by a certain user and different user can't open and modify it. How can I share the scripts so that each user can access and modify the script? Is there any configuration I miss out? Do I have to be an admin on my local machine to be able to open the scripts stored in Repository?
