In Hotmail I keep getting message to "refresh your browser" every 5 minutes!
Every few minutes I get a message across the top of my Hotmail screen asking me to "refresh your browser" and adding something to the effect that the browser is being used by two different computers. It is not!
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I can't open mail on Hotmail from Firefox. I can from Safari. I'm trying to purchase and download a movie, but I keep getting message error that I have no space. The error states that I must delete some photos or videos in order to download. I've gone to iPod then edit and deleted some videos, but I'm still getting the message. What is the correct way to delete the videos and should they still be there.
They wont still be there if you delete them,but if you have those same photos on the main computer.

Hey Erin how about you confirm to Elector and others that you HAVE to pay for tethering on Nationwide plans and that if you are using a 3rd tethering app to bypass paying you are violating the terms of service. They don't seem to believe me. -
What's up with the iPhone update server. I have repeatedly tried in recent days to update the IOS software on my wife's 3GS iPhone but keep getting message that the iPhone update server cannot be contacted. The phone syncs normally and I am sure I am connected to the internet properly. Also I have successfully updated ITunes software during this same time frame. What gives??

Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -

My daughter has just bought me an iPad 2 from Dubai and set it all up for me but unfortunately the iMessage function doesn't seem to work. We keep getting messages,when trying to activate it, that there is a network connection problem - help!
Thank you both for your responses but my daughter was reassured by the salesman in the iStyle store (official Apple store in the UAE) that iMessages would work but conceded that FaceTime wouldn't. My iTunes account is registered in the uk and my daughter's iPhone has iMessages even though she bought it (and uses it) in Dubai. Can anyone else throw any light on this?

Have you checked in the Recently Added playlist?
I think this is possibly linear. Select 'normal' in HB, iTunes accepts it; select 'high quality' in HB iTunes doesn't. I can't say why; I don't have any video that anywhere approaches 3GB in size. If that's how iTunes behaves I don't see you have too many options. You either select normal and it works, or you select HQ and live with playing the movie outside of iTunes.
I won't ask what movie because any help with illegally ripped copy protected DVDs is strictly prohibited by the Terms of Use so I'm assuming this is a 6 hour video of your puppy playing on the floor.
