In house consumption of own products

Is there a standard SAP methodology to handle inhouse (internal) consumption for a company's own products for asset capitalization, as gifts to employees or gifts. This is a one time activity. e.g. once in a while a company decides to issue its own products as gifts for disbursal to anyone (employee, vendor, etc.) or for own products to be used as company assets.

i read a blog post that you can deploy patches via a Deployment Type for a Application. I configured a Deployment Type as Script Installer for my main Installation (the Main Application is already Deployed) and as the detection method i used "Fileversion".
The Problem now is that i cannot see the Patch in the Software Center of the client PC. Anybody knows why? The Main Installation is located in the ccmcache of the Client PC but not that Patch... (MSP) The Patch is from our own Product.
When i look into the AppDiscoveryLog with CMTrace i can see this:

Select components again List
then give the plant,Order details
execute
You can find 2 fields reqmn qty(nothing but planned) & qty Withdrawn(Actual consumption) in the report

Consumption for semifinished product

Is there a possibilty in just one step to give in consumption a semifinished product in order to manufacture a finished product (without making a transfer from semifinished product to raw material and then to give in consumption in order to manufacture)?

Your question is not totally clear to me. Do you have any specific reason to ask this?
What does SFG mean in your terminology? What is the process?
I cannot see any problem, you can put the SFG in the BOM of the FG. If your config and master data are maintained properly you can create a PrdOrd and get the FG by mvt 101 and consume the SFG by mvt 261.

Wifi erratic on 4S after upgrading and not working even after resetting to factory setting. Why should apple isolate itself from their own product problems Matter of shame when they are not ready to communicate with the customer means they are dead.

Dear Sir/Madam Since the wifi is not coming ON how can I open this diagnostic on the iphone 4S am using and having problem with wifi behaving in erratic manner.
Am a professional engineer for projects and am 68 yrs old. At one time was looking after a production line manufacturing I C's in semiconductors manufacturing company of the US.
Have four apple products, one hp laptop and one DELL professional computer at home is used by only two members me and my wife.
Wife prefers working on ipad2 or ipad mini while traveling and has iphone 4. Am using iphone4S with laptop and Dell computer, No apple product is more than two years old.
Am having the problem in using wifi on the 4S after it was upgraded to the latest ios as per the recommendation by your software of my iphone 4S
The wifi card hangs up at it's own will and even a visit to your authorized service center in Delhi has not able to help me although they have reverted the ios back to the
one supplied with the set. Am a user and not a computer expert but it looks like the wifi card is not able to some times take the load while working which could indicate the wifi card is getting heated up.
My daughter who is Masters in 3D Animation is an ardent fan of apple products working at present in Canada was also gifted by me a 4S about 4 months back. My daughter-in-law is using iphone4 and an ipad for her professional works along with a Dell PC in the US. While my son is a fan of samsung products and does not like an apple product.
So in a family we have 7 apple products except MAC laptop/PC.
But the fact is, this problem with 4S has really shaken me up and now it seems your products are deteriorating in quality while demanding the best pricing structures.
Since this is purely the device and the software of apple problem you may please replace this set with new one as neither have any time to push you/ request you after your service centre
in Delhi told me yesterday this cannot be repaired.
The serial No of my set is DN*****TC0 and was bought from an authorized dealer and so were the other products from the same dealer in Delhi. This set is still in showroom condition and
was never used without a protective cover.

Consumption of semifinished product

Hello guys,
I have a particular situation that client: In the first process order, they produce semifinished products and afterwards in the second, third etc. orders they consume this semifinished product to produce several finished products. So, how can I see raw material cost in each finished products?? To remember, I have relationship one order for semifinished product and several orders for each of finished products.

YOu can see the Raw Material cost for Finished Product from:
Go to COR3 - Display Process Order
Choose GO TO > COST > ANALYSIS
There you can see the Raw Material Consumption and other indirect costs,

Unfortunately there is no such a report in SBO. But you can write a report to show the consumption of BOMs using the Query Generator or Wizard. (Thus no SDK work is required).

Consumption posting in Production order for 543 movment type - reg

Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading our system from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0
There is a process in which Production order gets created with a child component ratio and parent component ration of 1:1, ME58, ME21N, MB1B ( for providing the child componets with 541 mvt type ). During issue i am increasing the issuing qty to 6 say for 5 header material.
When a Goods receipt is done for the first GR ( 2 components ) 543 mvt type happens with 2 child componets consumtpion, for the second GR ( 2 components ) 543 mvt type happens with 2 child components and finally when final GR ( 1 component) is done 543 mvt types happens with 2 child componets ( ie 6 -2-2 ). This process happens succesfully without any issue in ECC 5.0 whereas it fails to do it in ECC 6.0,
Instead of taking 2 componets for the final GR, the system still consumes only 1 component as maintained in production order.
Please suggest with any std configuration or OSS notes to fulfill this particular requirment.

Why doesn't Sony make a music system for it's own products?

I have a Sony Xperia z3 and I would love to have a music system like the iHome. I have been a loyal customer for years and I love Sony products. I believe many people would like to have a music system for Sony phones.

Someone else living in my house created their own apple ID, and since then all the music in my library is gone. What can I do to fix this?

     I have tried seeing if there are any other systems in the library. There are not. I have been able to get back all the songs I downloaded off of Itunes, but there are a lot more from CDs that are missing.

Own product but it tells me my trial has ended

Adobe has a lot to be desired when it comes down to getting help, it would be nice to have a support number to call with problems. I purchased Adobe Premmiere elements 12, have ser #, followed instrunstons to install and have had nothing but trouble. It keeps telling me that my trial has ended, how come.

I tried a trial version of software of a previously owned product

I can no longer use the older version of the software at all going forward. Is there anything I can do to go back to use the original version of the software package?

Check the receipts and preferences folders.
These may contain setting info about the trial software that prevents the full and/or previous versions being installed.
Receipts are found in two folders
1. Hdd/Library/Receipts
2. User/Library/Receipts
Preferences (Plist files) are in
1. Hdd/Library/Preferences
2 USer/Library/Preferences.
Search for and delete files that reference the said software name and/or authors.
Reboot your Mac and try again to install the software.

in house production is maintained on the production plaaning side , where it is related to making of a products' (many) which they are trying to make in house ( in their own plant / company)
for which they have to do bit of calcualtion on the product recipe, i.e Bill of material and do a costing run n stuff like that before building anything..
AUC is some thing which is maintained on the Assets side, lets say to make a product the comp has acquired a new machine which will go assembled to an old machine for extra quality or speed or what ever.. see this is defined as Asset Under Construction since you are still constructing the machine to get it work once it is done you settle this asset (auc ) to a machine Asset class,
like wise you can say you are adding some new floor or new room to the existing building now this is maintained as AUC and all the expenses occured during this one to get finished are accumulated and finally when this is finished it is settled to the Building Asset .

Installing cc when I already own stand alone products??

I am needing to get Illustrator and In Design. Rather than subscribe 2 single apps, I am considering getting the entire CC suite. I already own the stand alone versions of Acrobat XI and Lightroom 5, and I see they are included in CC suite. My question is this: If I get CC will my perpetual licenses still be good for the Acrobat and Lightroom, or does everything revert to the CC subscription? Reason I ask is because I work for a small company that doesn't upgrade regularly and after 1 year may or may not renew the CC subscription for the 2 products I'm interested in....but I most definitely need to keep the Acrobat and Lightroom. Would I lose those if the CC subscription ended?

You will not loose any of your stand alone owned products which you have. Even if you do not renew your Creative Cloud membership after an year you can anytime download Acrobat 11 and Lightroom 5 and use your serial key to activate the product.

Captive Consumption MM SD Excise

Dear SAP Gurus,
Please insruct me and guide me for the following scenario :-
The client wants to issue own goods manufactured for captive consumption against another production order. The client has the following requirements :-
1) Update the RG 23 part I register for finished goods stock issued as captive consumption
2) One line item, to be generated in RG 23 II register with assessable value "zero" and excise amounts "zero"
3) The amount of goods issued for captive consumption should be recorded as RM consumtion.

Legally the self consumption should be treated as sales & excise duty must be paid on it based on the accessible value,
Even Free Items sent to Customer have to be paid for the excise.
So i don't feel any entry with the zero value will be updated in the register.
Check if the product belongs to any specific category.

Direct link between planned/production order & Stock transport order

We have the following situation.
Plant A = ordering/receiving plant
Plant B = producing/selling plant
Material is stock material in plant A (reorder point planning). If required, plant A creates intercompany purchase order with plant B as vendor.
Standard SAP behaviour: MRP run will create planned order in plant B but there is no direct link between the intercompany purchase order and the planned order. It can as well be that this planned order combines several requirements.
Our requirement: Have a 1 to 1 relationship (and a direct link) between the intercompany purchase order and the planned order (and also with the production order which will be generated afterwards). The solution we think about: After creation of the purchase order, create firmed planned order (or immediately production order) by means of a bapi.
My question is whether there are standard SAP solutions for this?

When customer give order and then it creates sales order.
depends on material - I mean Finshed good or Comapny own product ,
If it is outside material ,it creates Purchase req and then Purchase order.
if it is company material ,it creates Planned order and then production order.
Check the transaction you will get better idea.
