In iBooks can I write side comments

Is there an app that works with iBooks to write in comments un the margins.

iOS does not allow apps access to other apps because of the sandboxed nature of the OS. You can't write in the margins but you can create notes which basically serve the same purpose and you can highlight text in iBooks.

I need to write a comment in any time, during the measurement is running.
If it is possible I can write the measuremnet in a excel file insted lvm file. but I don't know how do it.
I must achieve a signal and filter it. then I calculate the integral of this signal and record it in a file.
but I must write a comment during acquisition because the signal change in the time according my manipulation and
I write them on file to have corresponding between comment and values.
This is my VI file I hope it is clear!
Another thing. I would to change file in which write when a write comment to have a diffrent file for each conditions.

When I open file.lvm there is no comment!!!

Hi ocramm,
see the attached VI, it's a simple example that writes a single waveform (X and Y axes) in a lvm file adding a comment.
The comment fills only the 1st row of the 3rd column . The position of the comment is always in the 1st row of a new column after the last column of the last signal.

Simple, you cannot. You can only post reviews through the store front gateway.
Well, actually, you can write the review in any editor or tool you wish to use, but to post it, you have to login to the store account. If you do not have an AppleID and store account, you cannot post a review.

Drive Partition and Format
1.Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Security button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Steps 4-6 are optional but should be used on a drive that has never been formatted before, if the format type is not Mac OS Extended, if the partition scheme has been changed, or if a different operating system (not OS X) has been installed on the drive.

getting a system property is too much on the business logic side. You could create a bean that returns the system property as a member, like:
public class PropertyBean
public String getConfigMode()
return System.getProperty("CONFIG_MODE");
}then simply use EL in your JSP(s) to get the value from that bean. Of course you could just make the getConfigMode() method part of an existing bean you are using.

Can't write to samba shares as any user but root.

I can mount shares, and I've specified every parameter I think could make a difference, but can't write to shares as any user but root.

Can't write to external hard drive

I have a MacMini G4 and and iBook G3 both running Tiger. I bought a Verbatim USB 2.0 500 GB external hard drive and reformatted it to HFS+. I can write files from the iBook without any problems. However, from the MacMini, the external drive mounts, I just can't write to it. When I try to change permissions in Get Info, I get error code 195. No luck with Disk Utility or Disk Warrior either. I have a suspicion that the problem lies in the fact that until very recently, the MacMini had only a networked account, now it has two local accounts (the iBook has only ever had 1 local account). How can I fix this without having to reinstall Tiger on the Mini, if at all? Thanks!

There are a couple of different ways - You can use ORA_FFI to call out to other foreign functions. You can use the Java Importer which creates PL/SQL wrappers to call Java. You can also integrate Java on the client side (Java Beans and Pluggable Java Components).
Info on this can be accessed from the on line help and there are a couple of good papers on OTN about the Java integration.

I only know that I can open the HTML files, modify comments by Vietnames and save as HTML files with Unicode mode. However, We should not use this way because it is very not PRO. Who is know it, please help me!

Write a comment to a file

I achive a signal and I want to save it on a file.
I want to insert a comment when I want during VI running and not to stop VI change comment and restart.
I find this method in the file attached but I want to do other thing:
1- Change the file when I write a comment
2- Name the new file with the comment string
3- don't use a button from FRONT PANNEL to reset VI, but a key of keyboard

1) you can set the focus active on the e.g. stop button - using the
proberty node - when you press enter the value of the stop button will
change.
2) you can set a shortcut to the button, in front panel: right mouse => advanced => key navigation
now your other questions:
why you want to change the file when you write a comment?
and rename the new file?
i think for this you must use the file name field

One iBook can't see my Express network

I'm utterly stumped.
I have an Airport Express network that worked pretty much OK until today. It's the Internet link for an AlBook running 10.4.6 (with a built-in Airport Extreme card), a dual-USB iBook running 10.3.9 (with a purchased original Airport card), and sometimes an elderly ThinkPad running Windows 98SE.
The ThinkPad's a little wonky sometimes, but it probably shouldn't work at all, so no complaints there.
Until today, neither the AlBook nor the iBook has had any problems with the network that turning Airport off and on again (or, in extremes, restarting the base station) couldn't solve.
But now, although the AlBook is connected fine, the iBook has stopped being able to see the wireless network. I've restarted, repaired permissions, restarted the base station. Nothing.
The iBook can see four of my neighbours' wireless networks, so I know the card is plugged in and working.
I've turned off every network security option I can find on the base station. It's unsecured and broadcasting its SSID to the world. But the iBook is just blind to it.
Anybody have any ideas?

That's a good thought, but yes, it was serving both b and g wireless connections.
The unit was quite hot when I unplugged it, including a spot on one side where it was too hot to touch. That may be normal — I don't handle it much — but I found it surprising.
The bigger news, though, is that I plugged it in this morning (I'd left it to cool and, I don't know, get itself together) and it was entirely kaput. No green LED, not even a flicker. I tried it in multiple outlets and tried plugging in a different cord. I tried plugging it in while holding the reset button in. Nothing.
So I guess the base station is dead and the problems I had yesterday were just its death throes. Does it make sense that it would fail to provide a wireless b connection just before conking out entirely? Does the heat indicate anything?
It worked fine for something like two years, so maybe it's just one of those things, but based on these vague symptoms, is it possible I was doing something that would make a new base station die in the same way?

Final Cut can not write file

I suddenly can not edit a project. Final Cut X is telling me that it can not write the file, due either to a permissions issue or insufficiant space. Yet, neither of these seems likely. Here is why:
Permissions: The project file is on an external drive and as such, permissions do not appear to be a relevant issue.
Insufficiant space: I have roughly 1/2 tb of available space on the external drive where the file resides. The file in question is several hundred gb in size, but given the amount of available space on the drive, I do not think that should be the issue.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Tom, that’s the weird thing…everything was fine one day, then a day later, it wasn’t. And nothing had changed to speak of. Sure, I was using the computer for other things but I didn’t install any new hardware/software or anything like that, the amount of free space on the various drives didn’t experience any sudden changes, et cetera.
FCP has all the updates installed, so it is as up to date as possible. The same with the OS. But again, neither of these have been updated since before the problem suddenly just appeared. The source media is on the same drive and referenced by alias, not actually imported into the project files. There were no errors regarding those files from withing FCP. I believe the defaults for FPX are at default in regard to things such as the cache files. At least, I find nothing in the basic preferences which would change that and I have not gone into any project specific settings anywhere to make such a change. But in light of your previous comments, I’m wondering if there isn’t some way to direct FCP to use another drive — one with more free space available — as the cache drive.
