I presume that your question relates to the Calendar App on the iPad.
You have to use the "repeat>Custom" setting on the Desktop version of iCal.

A4 black & white
A4 colors
listings black & white (which prints two pages on an A4 sheet)

ICal How do I enter an event without it being a quick event?

In iCal, when trying to add an event, I click on "File" then "New Event". A "quick even" box open which I find difficutl to use. Under iCloud calender in Safari, a "New Event" opens a boxt with details that are useful. Is there a way to create an even in iCal with detailed information to input?

For your repeating even, I'm assuming this is your Yahoo calendar? that isn't a Firefox issue, I suggest you try to contact yahoo.

I would have one event listener that is aware of a boolean variable that has scope outside of the event listener, isBold for instance?
When you click on the button, have the event listener toggle the boolean variable and then if true, set the text to bold, if false set the text to plain.

Itouch calendar - how do i repeat an event every 3 weeks?

I've just bought an itouch. I previously had a palm tungsten.
On the palm, I had the flexibility to repeat events on a particular day of the week every number of weeks/months. eg every 3rd Saturday of the month or the 20th of each month, every 3 weeks on a Saturday, etc.
How can I do this on an itouch? I am really trying to repeat an event every 3 weeks, but at the moment there is only an option to repeat it daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or yearly.

I can't see a way to do it.

ICal Delegates are all set to "events affect availability"

I am using iCal to view my personal calendars and also several "delegates" calendars. These calendars were added using the "Accounts I can access" under the "Delegation" tab of the account pane. This is all working fine, except for one major problem. All the calendars that I can view but aren't my own have the "events affect availability" box checked and it cannot be unchecked. This means that when I try to schedule an event it looks like I am busier than I really am. For instance, one of the calendars is for a conference room, so I look busy whenever the room is busy. Also, I look busy whenever my wife is busy. I can tell iCal to not use my personal calendars when determining my free/busy time, but I am forced to be busy whenever someone else is busy. This seems very backwards to me. Can this be fixed or is it a bug?
Some calendars are through exchange and others are through google. They all have this problem.

Events for calendars that have that option off should not affect availability.
For a user having this problem, can you use Safari to browse to the following URL:
https://<<yourserver>>:8443/calendars/users/<<uid>>/inbox/
Substituting your server's hostname for <<yourserver>> and the user id for <<<uid>>.
You will be prompted to authenticate - do so as that user.
In the resulting page of information search for 'calendar-free-busy-set'. Attach the property value to your reply.
Then get the user to toggle the availability option for the calendar. Refresh the Safari webpage and attach the new property value.

I am new to using ichat and I want to be able to use one calendar but label different events different colors (green work, blue exercise, yellow appointments..) can I do this? If I can't how do I combine the different calendars into one, so I can reference it at one time and not have to go between the different calendars?

You can colour calendars. You can't change the colours of different events within a calendar. You don't have to keep switching between calendars - you can have any number of calendars within iCal, all different colours, and have them all show at once so the effect is the same as what you are asking for. Just select the appropriate calendar when you create an event.

Use the method setActionCommand ( "<ActionString>" ) inherited by JMenuItem
from AbstractButton.
In ActionListener-Method actionPerformed(..) you ask the ActionEvent
if ( <ActionString>.equals ( event.getActionCommand ( ) ) ) {
