The fix is to log into your current account. Go to appleid.apple.com and change the primary email and apple id back to the old email address (doesn't matter if you have it any longer). Once the change is made, then enter your password for that account on the device. Once you get in, go ahead and go back to appleid.apple.com and change it back. That fixed mine.

I have an Onkyo ND-S1 which was great when using my iPhone 4S plugged into the dock sending digital audio through to my active speakers with built in DAC….
But since upgrading to an iPhone 6, running IOS 8.1.1 which has a lightning port, I purchased an aftermarket ‘lightning to 30-pin female adapter cable’ to continue using the dock with my new iPhone.
It doesn’t work. The adapter is not approved by Apple and somehow they have managed to bork all non-apple cables, ie it won’t charge, it won’t send digital audio. It’s essentially useless. Now, this is a cable that was manufactured & marketed specifically to allow iDevices with a lightning port to connect to digital transport docks, and I believe that it used to work with IOS 7.x, but it appears that with the rollout of IOS 8.x, Apple has done something that renders all non-apple cables redundant.
Apple sell their own £30 adapter cable, but that has its own DAC built in to the unit – now stupid question time: If I used one of these cables, would it (a) Do nothing, just like the non-apple cable, (b) Convert the audio to analogue, then send the converted audio to the speakers (by analogue cable only), resulting in a lower quality reproduction? Or (c) Would it bypass the DAC in the cable and send the digital signal to the speakers?
Does anybody have any experience of this?If the 3rd party adapter doesn't work it is because it is a counterfeit device The manufacturer has failed to licence the lightning technology from Apple ergo it does not work

IPad 3.2.1 update will no longer let me use the apple iphone VGA adaptor?
Has anyone else have this problem. I was using the apple iphone VGA adaptor I purchased from apple for $49 on my iPad, but since the update I can no longer use it? I dont know if anyone else is having this problem, I don't know if Apple purposely put an update to force you to purchase the "iPad VGA Connector", but if they did thats just plain messed up.

Can you try the modem plugged directly into the master socket without any ADSL filters. You will lose your broadband connection during the test, but it will eliminate any problem with the BT Home hub, or the microfilter.
ADSL does not start until 30kHz, which is well above the range that an analogue modem works at.

First off, i think it's sad that i have to use my non apple device to post this question... Why has my iPad become absolutely useless after updating to iOS 8.1? I am unable to use my mini because it crashes, slow performance, major battery drain.
Restore iPad to Factory Default; do not restore from backup. It may be the cause of the problem.

My photos are syncing from my iPhone to the iCloud PhotoStream and to our iPad, but they are no longer syncing to our home computer (Microsoft operating system, not Apple). Why would this happen and how can I get it resolved? I have since tried to remove and reinstall the iCloud application in my computer's control panel. I have verified that I am using the latest Apple operating system and the latest iTunes. I have reset my photo stream. Not sure what else to try... I was also having an issue with my calendar where it would sync from my computer to my iPhone but not vice versa. Somehow in all the resetting that's resolved, but the photo issue is not. Again - photos are going into the photostream, but not wirelessly being put into the file on my computer.
To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

My Apple ID is being used by another person. I can no longer sign in using my Apple ID password, and worst of all is that I've been receiving in my email inbox email verifications in someone else's name!!! I have tryed to reset my Apple Id password but I don't even receive the verification email in my meail box, and when I try to answer the Apple ID verification questions not even my birth date is correct!!!!! After updating iPod Touch to iOs 5.0, I cannot get into Game Center with previous nickname. The screen says my nickname is already in use by another account. Why did this happen and how can I fix this so I can still use the same nickname?
Did you haveany problem with updating to iOS 5? It soundsl like the update did not correctly restore from the backup that iTunes mnakes as the fisr step of the update.

I guess that it just had a bad connecting port on the phone itself, no clue why it wouldn't work when plugged in both ways other than there is actually some differentiating between the two sides. -

Also check the print queue to see if a print job has gotten stuck. Click the home button twice and you should see recently used programs across the bottom of the screen. Scroll across to find the print queue.

Droid 4 No longer able to use USB for Charge Only
I received the big android update yesterday and now my phone no longer gives me the option to plug in my usb cable for charge only. It only offers me, Mass Storage, Media Device and Camera modes. Is the connection for charge only listed somewhere else? I like being able to charge my phone but still listen to music and none of these options allow that anymore.
There is a discussion about this on the Motorola forums. The option really has gone, it's not hidden anywhere. Note that USB WILL charge in any of these modes, and if you connect as Media Device, your card is still available to the phone and you can play music (just did this to confirm)!
The issue on the Moto forum is for those who want to charge their phones using a computer at work, where the company/agency policy forbids mounting a disk from a personal device on a work computer. Previously, Charge Only allowed that, now any of the available choices will mount the phone as a disk. -

Hi NO one at BT has been able to help me with this,
OK explanation:
For my work I still use the old modems to dial into remote machines (this caused problems explaning this to BT they kept on talking about my BB hub!). Using an internal modem in my laptop to dial out using the voice part of the BT line.
You can here the tones of the numbers being dialled, it then handshakes with the modem on the remote machine then the signal just hangs.
I have had my phone line for over 8 months. I have been able to use modem remote connect the whole time until last week.
I completed a line check, came up clear. I then called BT. Line check clear. They said the only option is to have an Engineer sent out. Then I got told that it could cost me... etc.
So booked an engineer then hung up. Got a call 30 mins later... ( during the 30 mins from hanging up I started to fault diagnose the lines in my house) then got told they had done another line check and it now shows a fault! Will it would I was using the line and fault finding on it!! They didn't tell me that they would do another line check.
Anyway engineer came following day... guess what no lne issues in my house or outside. After 15 calls and 6 hours later I was getting no where on the phone.
How can I get this looked into!?!?!? It seems the bandwidth on the voice part of the line can't take modem data anymore!
I have tested my laptop, it works on my lines in 2 different offices it also works at a friends house and they are on BT.Line quality sounds fine on voice calls and BB never drops out.

2. Why can't BT have a higher level of tech support?
3. Why just cold transfer me to other departments?
4. Why send out an engineer when there was no need for one?
5. Why does the Tech guy I reported this to tell a blatant lie on the system on my records. "noise on phone line" I never said this!!!
6. Who can I complain too? NO ONE!
7. How can I get this resolved? NO ONE KNOWS
