In iOS 7 I am no longer able to use the forward and revese keys when listening to music or spoken word
I use my iPhone in the car. It has been a really useful feature to be able to fast forward and reverse buttons on the steering wheel when listening to an iBook. This no longer works with iO7 and I am really disappointed that I now have to revert to using the keys on the iPhone rather than the cars steering wheel. I also now get regular warnings that the cables I am using were not made for the iPhone. I bought them from Apple direct so what

Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50501-51000/sp50856.exe
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load. Open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.
it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!
Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -

Well, it worked fine for me as well for the past couple of years. I had not had any problems using it for the past few years. I use a Mac OS X Yosemite. As far as I can tell nothing had changed. I had not added any new updates, and a week ago the adjustment brush in camera raw simply ceased working. Everything else in camera raw works. However, the adjustment brush is a critical tool. I have checked my permissions, and even repaired my permissions with no results. Of course I have also tried several restarts to no avail.

Working at a university here in Brazil Unicamp.
Here we have several projectors model VPL-ES4, we were using this projector with win7 however a few days they all stopped to show the image of computers accusing problem in frequency, we made all the alternatives so that One can be reestablished TRANSMISSION signal however all were in vain, reading in many forums found equal to our cases and the solution presented was to use a computer with win98 and it really worked, but with the end of support for this version of the system we are failing to use it, I wonder how we can solve this problem and why even this ocrrendo.

Here's what you can do. Fully remove the xorg.conf file. Regenerate them using nvidia-xconfig, Open the nvidia's GUI as root and just click "Save configuration", or something among those lines. So I set:
HorizSync 30-80
VertRefresh 50-75
Signal out of range, which is annoying because in order to fix it I either have to reboot using a live CD, mount the drive, or ssh into it. Whoever started the trend of disabling ctl alt backspace to kill an xsession is not my friend...
Some other forum posts about this monitor indicate that there may have been two variants, but I can't find a different set of specs.

I like to be able to navigate backwards and forwards without having to scroll down and find where I was previously. In Firefox Four, when using the forwards and back buttons, the page will automatically return to the top of the page. Is there any way to change this setting in Firefox Four to prevent it from doing that?
Thanks for the response. No Time Machine, but I probably have a backup from a few months ago on an external hard drive. :/ I guess it'd have useful history, but not if it overwrote the last 3 months or so of Awesome Bar, that might not be so great.

If I switch my installed PS6, Illustrator and InDesign over to the Cloud (from an installed program with the code, like Adobe used to do it), will I have to pay monthly even though I already purchased the programs? And will I then be able to use the program on another computer when I sign into my adobe account? I know how to switch it over, I just want to make sure I won't also have to pay monthly even though it's already been purchased.
Your purchase of licensed version of Adobe applications does apply to CC subscriptions. If you subscribe you will pay for the subscription on whatever periodic basis you choose (monthly versus annually).

Why not? The Iris Enhance Preset sets the brush to Exposure +0.35, Clarity +10 and Saturation +40. If you want additional adjustments on the same brush or different values for the three preset parameters, just move the sliders. -
I was able to use the numbers program before. Now all I see is the blue screen with the new updates. How do I fix this. I have already downloaded the new version of Icloud & open office $ installed.
Are you talking about doing this on your iphone? Or something else?

No longer able to use the scan function on Photosmart c4780
Previously when I opened my HP Photosmart C4780 Printer Scanner I would get a dialogue box which allowed me to choose whether to print or scan. This dialogue box no longer starts and I no longer get the option to select scan and can only choose to print. I have been around the circuit of Print and Scan and Doctor and have downloaded and reinstalled the appropriate software several times all to no avail. I can no longer find the software CD that came with the device. What do I have to do to be able to access the dialogue box which gave the opportunity to choose scan and specify the actions required?
Furthermore using Windows Fax and Scan will not work either, I simply get the message “Could not complete scan”.
The scanner does work as I can use the copy function perfectly well.Hi @Jumbob
From your descriptions, it sounds to me like the issue stems from the software. Let's perform a comprehensive uninstall, clean things up and ensure updates are complete, then reinstall. Please complete the following steps and let me know the outcome;
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
Download the software and choose to save as, save to desktop > HP Photosmart C4700 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver
After the software downloads and extracts, open the temp folder again, use the instructions from step 1.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have anon-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.

We are in the middle of OAKS TESTING. We had to run the latest Java Updates inorder to do the ELPA portion of our State "OAKS" testing. Since last Friday we cannot consistantly or basically cannot get the audio portion to work. The sound and speech works fine in system preference but no longer for the testing. It was fine last week.
Is there other school district having this issue in the state of Oregon?When I try to do a "save as" in preview, pages, numbers, etc., there no longer is a save as in the pull down menu. If a go to help and type save as it will pop up under help - what a pain.
Save as is available in Mountain Lion by hitting the Option key while you access the File menu. (It was returned after being eliminated in Lion).
My system is running slow!
How much RAM do you have installed? Mountain Lion is somewhat of a memory hog. And, how much free/empty hard drive space do you have?
And what is Mavericks? Is that going to change everything?
Apple announced a new OS a few days ago; it is supposed to be released in the fall.

The capability to sync is a new feature. You don't need to do it. I did not allow any app to import my contacts. You can also turn off other features if you do not like them - simply go through all the System Preference Panes and decide what you want and what you don't want. -

I have had noting but trouble from the latest update. My phone has already froze and blacked out 8 times in the last day or two.
I restarted my phone as suggested and it is still happening.
My phone just blacks out at its own will as if the battery went dead then the apple logo appears and it restarts on it's own but my battery was still at 30% when it restarted. So that made no sense. When I try to type in my password it freezes up before I can get all of the characters in. I still hear the clicks of my tapping on the keyboard but nothing is changing on the screen. When I hit the enter button on accident it vibrated to tell me my password was incorrect but still the screen was frozen with my previous entry of the first 5 characters on the screen.
I am becoming concerned that I may have a very expensive paperweight now.
My husband has the same phone and his is working fine after the initial reboot. -
After upgrading to ios 6.1, I experienced the following problem: I am no longer able to read the magazine I subscribed (The New Yorker) if I don't have access to internet. If the iPad is on FlightMode I can't read the magazine or the books in iBooks. Can you help me?
I am having the same problem. I have a 2nd generation ipad wi-fi only. All was working great until I upgraded. NONE of my downloaded magazines or rss-feeds are accessible. For the magazines, their icons show up on the "shelves" but once you click on one it wont even take you to the "issues" i have downloaded. it jumps back to the shelf page.
