In iTunes 10.3, the 'Purchased' tab only shows apps and books
.... not music. I wish to redownload some old purchases. Why is it not appearing?
Sorry, but iTunes in the Cloud re-downloading of music is (probably due to licensing) only available in the US right now. If you didn't get the music transferred from your iPod to iTunes before the iPod failed, you may be out of luck and have to re-purchase your music. You can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it.

UK iTunes store only has Apps and Books on the purchased tab. I've purchased alot of music recently on my iPhone and iPod and when trying to sync I got an error of -1009 so I decided to download from iCloud but it only has Apps and Books no music. Does anyone know what I can do?

i downloaded OSX lion and it says it is installed but it doesn't appears in the purchased tab nor in apps or downloads what do i do to get OSX lion?

In th App Store menu click on "Store" and "View My Account"
Under the "iTunes in the Cloud" section of the new window that appears there were 2 "Hidden Purchases".
Click on "View Hidden Purchases" and then click on "Unhide" on OS X Lion (assuming it is there - mine was).
It will now re-appear in your puchases section and you can re-download and install if necessary. -
I can not adjust the automatic download for music, apps and books.
This is a problem by my iPhone and my IPad.
Where is the mistake??Settings > Store > Change the settings you want.

I upgraded to iOS 5 and all the music had gone. But when I went on to iTunes, onto the 'Purchased' tab, I got all the music back from iCloud. But my movie wasn't listed. It was 'Paul' and it cost £10. When I look it up on iTunes, if I want it back it says I have to pay £10 again!!!! I am currently talking to Apple Live Chat Support and she is saying to write this up. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is correct.
You only get one download of movies. It is your responsibility to backup your purchases.

I haven't tried it for a couple of weeks, but with iOS 7 after hiding an app on my computer's iTunes I was needing to log out of my account on my device by tapping on my id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logging back in for it to then become hidden in the Purchased tab -
I used my Apple tv (1st generation) to load films on iTunes and then sync to my Aplle tv. In iTunes I now can only see Summary and Photos and therefore lost the ability to load a film and then sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced this with ? Cannot find any options to resolve this.

Your library has become a secondary (streaming only) library only (it is possible to turn syncing off by ctrl-clicking on the Apple TV listing in the device list and choosing 'Turn Off Syncing" from the contextual menu) and you need to reconnect your library as a primary library.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted. -
the log in in comes up and sys login.yahoo...nd%3d13d5f2 and it keep s repeating series of numbers but never opens. It shows my name and says i have mail but as soon as i click on mail it takes me back to login page
That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

Hiding purchase history in new app and books stores with IOS6
Up until the recent upgrade to app store and book store and the upgrade of my iPad to IOS6 I could hide purchased apps or books that I had deleted from my iPad. It no longer seems to work - is it still possible and, if so, how?
I tried the suggested solution of hiding the purchased item through iTunes, but it only half worked.
On my iPhone 4S with ios6 I open up iBooks and there are 2 ways to see a list of purchased books.
1. There is a folder called "Purchased Books" in the library, which I cant delete as it's not a user created folder, I guess.
2. If I click on Store, then I can see a list of purchased items.
(sorry if the names of these things arent quite right, I am looking at a German iPhone).
No.2 seems to be a view into my iTunes account and the suggested solution hides the unwanted entry from this list.
No 1 seems to be unique to iBooks and is not changed by the suggested solution. In fact there seems to be no way of affecting anything here. If I select "edit" and mark the unwanted entry, then the "delete" button is not activated. And the swipe to hide doesnt work here either.
If anyone knows how to hide the item from the No 1. list then please let me know -

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

When I try to turn on automatic downloads from the store on my iPhone 4 they turn and then turn off by itself as soon as I turn them on.
This appears to be related to the same issue afflicting FaceTime logins on iPad. You must go to wifi settings>advanced and put 8.8.8.8 in the DNS section. Not only does this enable FaceTime login it allows automatic selection. Click auto "on". It may reset to "off". Click again and it should stick on

I've purchased and downloaded an album from the iTunes store. It has 5 tracks. Tracks 1-4 are all fine. Track 5 is broken - it should have approx 15 minutes of music, but only plays to just under 4 minutes. This happens on my computer and on my iPod. How can I fix this please?
I've tried going to the "Purchased (new)" option in the quick links on the right hand side of the iTunes store. I thought I'd see an option for "Music" on the page it takes me to, but I don't get that option: I only see Apps and Books.
I'm using the computer that I purchased and downloaded the album from. It is authorised for this account.
I'm not aware of interrupting the download yesterday - it all seemed OK to me at the time and I thought it had completed successfully.
The album is Dvořák: Cello Concerto, Zuill Bailey, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra & Jun Markl. It's the last track (In Nature's Realm) that's got the problem.

I messed up and deleted a few songs by mistake. When I go to the "purchases" option it only lists apps and books that have been downloaded, but music is not an option to see what was downloaded previously. Anyone know how I can re-download the songs ?

IPad (1), I don't see the "purchased" tab in App Store.
I just got iOs 4.3.5, and I don't see the purchased tab in the App Store, or in iTunes. I do however see it in the iBooks app. Is this because I'm using the oringal iPad? I've tried a restart, and deleting it from the multi-task bar. Any ideas?
No. I have the original iPad and it all works for me. It always has.
Lets try this next. If you haven't downloaded anything since the iOS update why don't you download any free app - anything. Even free apps show up in the purchased tab. See if you download an app maybe it will reset something and the purchased tab will show up. It's worth a try and there are tons of free apps. You could try the same thing with any free iTunes content like the free single of the week or a free movie trailer - just to see if the tab shows up. -
Purchased tab is showing empty content?
I have used the Purchased Tab on iTunes only once before, and it worked fine. Now, every time I go back to download something the four tabs that say "Music", "TV Shows", "Apps", and "Books" show up, but I can only click on the music tab, and nothing at all is coming up. ITS COMPLETLY EMPTY!. PLEASE HELP!

Click on PO history tab , Make your own layout , save and then from Layout > Manage Layout ,make your layout as default layout.May be current Layout ,there might be some values are filtered hence the required data is not appeared in PO History Tab.
