Problems:
1. Can surf thru Safari in less than 5 minutes and then drops
2. When I try to go to App Store in less than a minute wifi drops
3. When I watch Youtube, the video stops downloading halfway because wifi drops
I am having this problem since I installed IOS6 last Monday the 24th of September.
SOLUTION:
RE-CONFIGURE ROUTER
1. On wireless settings under Setup tab:
   a. disable auto channel scan
   b. change chanel to 11
   c. rename SSID
2. On Firewall Settings under Advance Tab:
    a. enable DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)
    b. Input the DMZ ip address of the Ipad (ipad must be using static ip address)
Put Wifi to Static
1. When you are connected with you wifi, click on the blue arrow on the wifi's name
2. Copy all the settings of the DHCP to the Static
3. Copy the IP Address and input it on Routers DMZ
hope this will help....
we have different routers. dmz's function is just to set a computer OUTSIDE of the router for unrestricted internet connection... if you have feature on your router then try to set your ipad on this...

The App Store will not recognize my valid Apple ID and password and hence won't let me purchase anything. I have verified on the Apple Store and on iTunes that the Apple ID and password are correct. I've even changed the password, and verified that Apple Store and iTunes recognize the new password, but App Store won't recognize it.
I'm flumoxed about what's causing this and how to correct it. I would like to purchase and download the new OS (10.8.5).

Thanks for the suggestion, which I've followed. After a restart of the computer and following your suggestion, I then launched the App Store, clicked on Sign In (in Quick Links), provided my Apple ID and password, which then generated the error message (i.e., "An unknown error has occured"). The Console window now contained 48 'messages' generated in 7 secs, all of which were like the following:

ITunes App Store Can It Be Viewed Old Way Before The Updated It ???

The new update to the app store is really horrible.It's hard to navigate and find anything.When I go to a page and click on an app and then go back it always takes me back to page one and then I have to go through all the pages again to gat back where I was,and then with the separation of paid and free apps it makes it even more difficult and it's difficult to compare apps. The whole fun of going to the app store has been taken away. Boo !!! Is there anyway to go back and view it the way it was or is this now absolute ? Also the footers of every app page has only previews of iPad apps and no more iPhone apps thats another Boo!!! That was also the fun part of it and a way to find app for the iPhone that otherwise I would have never found but it seems Apple took that away. Thats bad and not just for us but for the developers because now how is anyone ever going to see all those apps that are way deep down in the pages ??? Sure the iPad is great but give it it break and it's own app pages...

From the iTS interface - select the 'App Store' - at the top of the screen are 2 tabs - 'iPhone' and 'iPad'.
To find the iPhone apps make sure you have the 'iPhone' tab selected.

This may be a silly question, but in itunes>app store I only have tabs for ipad & iphone apps. I cannot find where to buy apps in (itunes>app store) for my MBP. Can someone help please, what I`m I missing ?

Sorry to hear you are having some initial issues getting started with the Mac App Store with your new computer. Let's try a few things:
1) Confirm you are able to access and edit your Apple ID at Apple - My Apple ID
2) Close all open applications and restart your computer.
3) Open the iTunes application and review / update your account. From the menu bar, choose the Store > View Account command
4) Click on the App Store icon on your dock and download a free app

My new iPhone 4S can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi. Works with 3G network. How to fix this?

My new iPhone 4S (week old) can't connect to iTunes, App Store or iBooks via Wi-Fi (and some other apps e.g. Hollister – but most of the other apps like Safari or ebay work fine). There is no problem with those apps loading via 3G network. When I turn off the wi-fi, it runs over 3G and i can access App store without any problem. When i turn off the 3G network and turn the Wi-Fi on, those apps like App Store won't work, other apps work fine. When i turn on both Wi-Fi and 3G, the App store (and so on) is also not working, other apps are.
I also found out that when the Wi-fi is on and I sign out my apple ID, the App store starts working! But when I log in again, it will imediatelly stop working. I've tried logging in with others apple IDs, still with the same result. There is no problem with my apple ID account, because it works on my iPad, even via Wi-Fi.
When i first set up my iPhone, there were no complications using App store ia Wi-fi with exactly the same account. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but this problem started when i logged in with my UK account and then wanted to log back in with my Czech account.
I tried turning it off, hard reset and deleting my iPhone several time (even without back up). Nothing worked since then.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I would really appreciate ANY help. This porblem is driving me crazy!

Can't download anything from itunes/app store after 5.0.1

I've read a few discussions on this topic but have yet to find any solution that works, so I'm reposting hoping someone has an idea.
We have an ipad 16gig, and recently updated to iOS 5.0.1. (via WiFi, this isn't a 3G model). Immediately after setting up after the update, the iPad can no longer update apps, download new apps, download iBooks, download songs, podcasts ... basically anything from the iTunes or App store. All are met with the message:
"Unable to Download (name here) - (name here) could not be downloaded at this time." with a Done or Retry button.
The same thing occurs for all apps, music, podcasts, etc... same message each time.
During the setup after the update was installed, we agreed to the new iTunes/App Store agreement, so I don't think it's that case where iTunes can't do anything because the Agree option got lost somewhere. I also don't have any downloads pending that need to be paused.
Solutions I have tried so far:
1. Restarting and resetting the iPad, both via the power button, and holding down the power button / home button.
2. Signing out of iTunes/App store, re-signing in, with two different Apple IDs.
3. A full restore of the iPad from my computer via iTunes.
4. Attempting to buy something free from iTunes or the App Store (somewhere this was suggested as a solution). Some descriptions of this solution implied it was to force itunes to ask you to agree to the new TOS, this hasn't happened, and we agreed to the new TOS when 5.0.1 started up.
5. Resetting my router. Didn't think this was the issue but did it anyway.
Googling the issue, apart from the above solutions, I've encountered something about "permissions" on a folder to which apps are downloaded being set wrong by the update, but I have no clue how to address that, it seemed to have something to do with "jailbreak" ipads of which this is not.
I'm about ready to take it to the Apple store but I was hoping I could find something online first, and spare confusing some poor Apple employee.

I found a solution, and it's horrible.
1. Back up your data. I used iCloud, but I also made a restore file through itunes, though you CAN'T USE THAT RESTORE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. It will just install the problem anew! Delightful!.
And then, basically do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 which translates to:
2. Settings > General > Reset > Erase all data
3. Set up your iPad as a new ipad - if you choose to restore from an old restore file, you'll just reinstall the original problem.
4. Connect to iCloud to reclaim your iCloud stuffs.
5. Spend the next hour annoyed and frustrated as you restore your music, photos, apps, etc... to what you think you had them.
But miraculously, this let our ipad download apps again.
Again, restoring from a backup will not fix the problem.
All this speaks to some issue that requires the drive on the ipad to be reformatted with new permissions, or something, which is pretty **** annoying. Waiting to see the problem re-appear after it's finished syncing my music. Hurray!

Every time I sign in I am asked to give details of my credit card. I have a debit card for my indian currency Account. Can I give this card number in the required field and if so, will any debit contravene Indian foreign exchange regulations?

Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

Since upgrading to IOS 7 on my iPhone 4s I cannot download from iTunes/App Store - I get the message "... could not be downloaded at this time. Please try again later". I can download via iTunes on my laptop and then transfer via iCloud no problem, but can't make purchases directly.
How can I resolve this issue?

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I've heard that some debit or pay as you go credit cards require a minimum balance, so make sure you have at least that amount in your account.

I have the same problem. The install seemed to go fine, it rebooted and the only APPLE app I can use is Safari and Itunes, The Mac Apple store freezes, Ibooks, Iphoto etc, all of them just lock up when I open them, even drop down items under the little Apple are frozen.
