In Krishna moorthy's weblog

Hi Moorthy,
In your weblog---Walkthrough with BPM
/people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2005/06/09/walkthrough-with-bpm
While creating 2nd receiver determination
sender: IP_File_To_File
Receiver: BS_FILE_BPM
I am not getting Receiver Agreement (Communication Channel) CC_File_IN
How & where should i create that ?
Could you please explain
Thanks,
Ram

Hi,
First of all, Are you using Business System or Business Service ?
If you are using Business Service , then open Business Service in the Integration Directory and then you can Sender and Receiver Tab. Add your Reciever i,.e Inbound Async Interface into that..and save it
Did you create Communication Channel ? For this create a Communication channel under business system or service BS_FILE_BPM as a Reciever communication channel of type file.
Step no 4 in the blog in the directory.
Regards,
Moorthy

  • Multi Mapping 1:N Split

    Hi ,
        My scenario is 1: n Split. I have created one intermediate structure (B) and doing splitting due to satisfy all business rules.
    A is the source is the Target. (1: N split)
    A &#61664; B
    B&#61664; C
    A and B has the occurrence of 1.
    B has the occurrence of 1. C has the occurrence of 0.unbounded.
    I have specified the Source and Target interface is A &#61664; C.
    I got the message type, but I try to give Message mapping for A&#61664; B & A&#61664;C, it is not allowing me to give two multimappings in interface mapping.
    Please let me know have you found any answers.

    Hi Suresh,
    Your both mapping structure should have MultiMapping Envelop..because you are using MultiMapping in the interface mapping, i.e 1:1 Mapping with 1:N mapping.
    Go thru this SAP Help-

  • Different options for message mapping in BPM

    Hey guys
    i m in the learning phase of BPM and am kinda confused with the different ways we can do message mapping in a BPM scenario.
    first of all we can do message mapping before BPM,we can also do after BPM and lastly we can do inside BPM(ofcurse this is not recommended as its too resource consuming)
    i have bene through starters blog on BPM by Krishna moorthy and Arpit seth,and now am wondering how to use the mapping in diff. ways
    suppose i m doing a simple File to File with BPM(just for practise purpose)
    now here is what i have designed in IR
    DT_sender_File                                       DT_receiver_File
    MT_sender_File                                       MT_receiver_File
    MI_Outbound_sender(async,outbound),     MI_Inbound_receiver(async,inbound)
    AI_sender(abstract,async)                        AI_receiver(abstract,async)
    MM_File_File(using MT_sender_File and MT_receiver_File)
    now i want to clear some doubts about interface mapping.my understanding is
    if i do interface mapping between MI_Outbound_sender and AI_receiver,this will be interface mapping before BPM.
    if i do interface mapping between AI_sender and MI_Inbound_receiver,this will be interafce mapping after BPM
    and if i do interface mapping between AI_sender and AI_receiver then it will be mapping inside BPM.
    is my understanding correct?if yes,then does that means we can we any of the above mapping in our scenario.(if we dont consider the performance issue as of now)
    thanx
    saif

    Hi Saif,
    <i>
    is my understanding correct?</i>
    Yes, thts correct
    <i>if yes,then does that means we can we any of the above mapping in our scenario</i>
    Of course, u can use any of them (overlooking the performance issue)

  • Howto use Converting File Content in Rec. Adapt. to suppress a xml-element

    Hi,
    we use PI/700, SP6.
    I have following structure (example):
    <MsgOut>
      <Sender>Partner1</Sender>
      <Receiver>Partner2</Receiver>
      <FlatPayload>
         blabla blabla
      </FlatPayload>
    </Msgout>
    Now I wanna use a XI-File-Adapter to write just a Flat-File with the content (of the element <FlatPayload>):
        blabla blabla
    (in other words: I wanna suppress all other xml-elements beside of FlatPayload)
    But I'm not able to configurate this with the function "Converting File Content"
    I tried different possiblities:
    e.g.
    setting yyy.fieldFixedLengths = 0 and yyy.fixedLengthTooShortHandling = Cut
    (yyy = Sender and Receiver)
    or
    just defining "MsgOut,FlatPayload" as RecordSet Structure (without Sender and Receiver)
    Result: no success.
    Now my question: is it possible to suppress some xml-elements?
    Thanks for your help!
    bye
    Wolfgang

    HI,
    You can suppress the XML Nodes/Elements over here. Not Fields ..
    For e.g if your outout xml is like this
    <MsgOut>
        <Sender>Partner1</Sender>
        <Receiver>Partner2</Receiver>
    <FlatPayload>
       <flatdata> blabla blabla</flatdatat>
    </FlatPayload>
    </Msgout>
    In this case you can suppress the <FlatPayload> node/element here.. Using Cut Parameter in the Receiver File Content COnversion.
    /people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2005/08/11/solution-to-the-problem-encountered-using-variable-substitution-with-xi-sp12
    So in your case, you can restructure your data type as you required.. I have mentioned in vice-versa here
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Moorthy

  • Integration Repository: change XSD type in data types

    Hi,
    we created data types for our interface where we used the XSD type float and integer. We built on that Message types and Message interfaces and used them as abstract types in a BPM scenario.
    During our test phase we encountered errors with these XSD types and found out that it is better to switch the XSD type to string to get correct values.
    However the changes in XSD types are obviously only visible in the Integration Repository. XI creates on Application Server side in the XML Object Type Builder an object which doesn't notice this change. And because of that we get still errors.
    So does anyone know how to get this XML Object Type changed? We don't want to delete everything and create new message types?
    Thanks in advance,
    Christina

    Hi Christina,
    First go to SXI_CACHE -> Refresh the cache.
    Also check for the Repository Cache Refresh/Notifciations..
    You mean you have changed the xsd in the External Definition ...
    If so , just go to Message Interfaces and just select the External definition once again and activate the same.
    If you change the Data types then , if there is a change in field length/type then try to redo/reselect the datat types for the message types and activate once again.
    For BPM just change something.. and activate once again..
    Also check this blog- to activate Runtime version of the BPM

  • False Error in the Adapter Monitor/File Adapter

    I have a receiver file adapter that is showing a 553 Permissions error when the file is actually delivered.  This shows up in the adapter monitor and the message monitor.
    I've been looking around but I couldn't find anyone who had this problem.

    Hi Mark,
    I think this error is because of Spaces/or and Invalid Characters like  -!"£$%^&*'#... in the file name.
    Just check it. ARe you using FTP server ? or NFS ?
    If it is FTP then also check that  user has a file write permission in the FTP server
         >>Also this may be because of  you don't have righ to write the directory/file(file permissions) with the name already exists i.e overwrite rights..

  • Problem with RFC sendder adapter.

    Hello All, Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am creating interface from CRM to XI using RFC adapter and XI to Forums using SOAP adapter. I configured in IR and ID and trying to push the RFC in CRM and I am getting the following error.
    lookup of binding via CPA-cache failed for AdapterType RFC, AdapterNS
    I went through the previous forums and I got no luck following those recommendations.
    Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi ,
    Check these-
    1) Sender Agreement and Program Id for the RFC is correct or not
    Sender RFC Adapter
    Refresh the cache of the Adapter Engine.
    1) sxi_cache->goto-->AE Cache
    2) check for CPA Cache also
    Just go thru following link from service.sap.com

    Did you refresh Adapter Metadata in the SLD ? This is mentioned in the Adapter Monitor document.
    Change the RFC adapter once again and activate the same. and then run the scenario. Did you change the RFC after importing..If so again import it.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Moorthy
