In LIVECYCLE DESIGNER how do I code a submit button to only submit one page of a multipage PDF

I have a multipage PDF I've designed in Livecycle and have print and submit buttons on each unique form in the document. I am able to create code (which I've copied from someplace) that allows only one page to print but when I click the submit button it wants to submit the entire document. PS - I created the Submit from the blank button and have it set to submit PDF not XML.

I don't think you can submit just a page of your PDF like you printed just a page. The difference is that when you print, the PDF becomes dots on paper, while when you submit a PDF it must remain completely intact to be machine readable, especially since the forms on a LiveCycle (XFA) document can have complex dependencies between pages.

Photos does the same thing.... Only workaround I can come up with is to create a template in Pages and copy & paste.

28 page Designer 7 .pdf form only shows one page in Acrobat 8

Help!
We have .pdf's that were generated with Designer 7.1, containing filled-in form data, but they cannot be viewed under Acrobat 8.1.
For example, a 28 page .pdf displays OK under Acrobat 6 (with warnings) and Acrobat 7 (error-free) ... but only displays one, blank page (with no errors and no warnings) under Acrobat 8.
Does anybody have any idea why Acrobat 8.1 is only displaying one page instead of the full 28 pages seen with Acrobat 6 or Acrobat 7?

1. The "Adobe Acrobat" forums ultimately point back to "Adobe Reader" - and this forum. There doesn't appear to be any separate forum for "Adobe Acrobat".
2. Thank you for the suggestion about Lifecycle Designer.
I tried to download LifeCycle Designer, but the link pointed to exactly the same "ar 8.1.2" download I'm currently having the problem with. Do I need "Lifecycle Enterprise"?
3. I've tried multiple different versions of Acrobat Reader 8.1.x, and even Acrobat 8/Pro. They all show only one page: no errors, but no data, either.
Acrobat 6 and 7, however, show a full 28 pages. Even Linux shows all 28 pages (and reports no errors or warnings in the .pdf). Do you have any idea what could account for this?

Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear on what I am trying to do. I am looking for a way to do this process a lot quicker. Sometimes these agendas could be 100 pages. Since I can only select text from one page at a time from the PDF after I scan it, this takes up so much time. What I am looking for is a way to open up the PDF file after scanning and be able to select text from all the pages and cut and paste into word. For example:
I scan 20 pages and save to PDF
I can view all 20 pages - pages 1 to 20
I want to highlight text starting at the beginning of Page 1 and ending on the last word on page 20?
Cut and paste everything into word
Is there a way to do this or should I be using another Adobe product to accomplish?

Thanks for your suggestion but that doesn't seem to work. That was the first place that I went to look and everything was checked. Just doesn't work but it does work in Safari.

Livecycle Designer 8 - Is it possible to have button to clear fields after user has clicked submit by email button so user can reuse form to send another response with different answers?

Users will use form to fill in stats for enquiries so they want to keep form open, complete a form, click button to submit by email, then click another button to clear form, form now ready to accept form's responses. They dont' want to keep opening form each time form needs to be completed.

Thanks for your response, not sure what you mean by a loop. I put together
a draft form to show staff in our Knowledge Centre the sort of thing
Livecycle Designer can do.
(See attached file: Library Request Form_pub_0001.pdf)
They are currently writing out on form and manually putting into excel to
keep stats on the requests.
Due to current Global Financial Crisis my section does not want to spend
extra money at the moment seeking assistance from our tech heads. So we
are looking for least work no expense option for keeping stats. I am a PA
who just happens to have Livecycle program on my computer.
We use Lotus Notes so I thought the staff could save copy of Library
request form in the stationery folder. The staff using the form want to be
able to do the following:
1. open the Library request form at the beginning of the day;
2. when a request comes in, complete the form and click on Send by email
button
3. click on a Clear Data button to clear all data from all fields so the
form is open ready for when the next request comes in.
Staff are time poor and, as this is only one of their numerous duties, they
don't want to keep going to a location and opening a file which can be very
slow on some days
Each day form may be filled out by approximately 15 staff who may receive
anything from 0 - 4 requests a day.
I am not a tech head so script writing is a deep, dark mystery. Can you
help using the form above as an example for achieving step 3 above.

if i understand this correctly, you just want everything cleared whena
buttons is pressed?
you can either do it individually:
on button click:
mytextField.rawData=""
or do a loop, using child/paretns..

How to show all the rows of a report in one page

My report has 30 rows, by default it just show 15 rows. I want to show all the rows just in one page, without cliking link or arrow to see the left.
In the Layout and Pagination:
Report Template: template: 15. Standard Report (PPR)
Pagination Scheme: Row Ranges X to Y (no pagination)
Display Position: Bottom - Right
Number of Rows: 1000
Number of Rows (item) 1000
Maximum Row Count: 1000

Ok, I think I got it. I needed to blank out Number of Rows(item), Maximum row count and only populate Number of Rows. I was sure I did that before and it didnt work.
Do you think that the Sessions in Apex can cause unexpected results? I have found that when I make changes I have to log all the way out of Apex, close my browser and reopen everything to ensure that my change took. Does anyone else have this issue? I can move this into a different thread if need be.

How to make a DFF segment mandatory only in one page?

We have added a DFF in 2-3 pages. One of the segments in that DFF should be made mandatory only for one particular page. Is there any way to make it mandatory via personalization?
I can't make it mandatory in DFF settings as it will make the field mandatory in all pages where the DFF is used.
I m aware that I can extend the controller and check wehther the value has been entered or not. But does anyone have idea whether this can be achieved without any customization?

We can achieve this requirement using Java script but this script is fired for every event in the page. You need to carefully choose the event(i.e. when the script should be fired).
Sample code:
1. create a rawText item
2. .in text property of the rawtext item use below sample code

How can I save one page from a long PDF document?

I have a 400+ page PDF and want to email just one page to a colleague. How do I save just that page? I've tried the Print > Save As PDF, but it says "not supported."

Gracias, Claudio! I did as you recommended and it works. I wish it were possible to save individual pages using the Reader, though, as I don't do that enough to justify purchasing Acrobat. Also, I don't know how to tell if a PDF is protected, and maybe this one is. Thanks!

LiveCycle Designer how make full Reader Extended Form

HI, I have developed a Dynamic Form using Live Cycle and then taken into Adobe PDF to add bookmarks. Finally save as a Reader Extended Dynamic Pdf with form fill options. Now the problem is that it is not fully extended and a person who is filling a form can not add comments. Any idea how can I get it done or anybody from Adobe help me by the right licence to activate this feature. Thanks.

The 6533 is can only be set to 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit when using pattern generation. So in this case you will have to configure at least one 8-bit port for data transfer. But you can simply write the same information out on all the other lines and change only the line of interest.
If you do not want to use pattern I/O which give you hardware timing output then you can simply use the Write to Digital line VI which allows you to update a single line at a time, but the timing of the update is related to software and is indeterministic and relies on the speed of the program execution.
