In mail, a picture was set up to send with my e-mail. How do I remove it?

It isn't really sending it, it will only be seen if you're in their Address Book... & you are in yours.
Obnoxious that you can't just turn it off, but you can replace your pic in Address book with a tiny all white .gif.by finding you in AB, highlight it, click edit, highlight the pic &n Paste a white gif there.

I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Sign Out.
Sign in with the correct ID.

Go to your System Prefs. Change the Picture.

In the head of my messages in the mail program, I have managed to include a picture of myself in the right corner. Now I can´t find out how to remove it.

One note, which that article does not mention: those images are not attached to the e-mail message. Mail simply shows the picture associated with your card in the Address Book on your messages, on your computer. Recipients of e-mail you send will not see that, unless you have given them your picture and they have added it to your card in their Address Book. So there's really no need to remove that photo.

How to set up delayed sending with Mail ?

Since I am not allways internet connected, I would like in Mail to send my mail only when I am connected, or to decide by myself when to send mails.
How to set up this fonction ?

If you are not connected to the internet when selecting Send for a message, you will receive the following error message.
Error
This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
The server "the account's SMTP server here" cannot be contacted on port 25 (or whatever Server Port is used by the account's SMTP server).
When connected to the internet and launching Mail, all messages that remain in the Outbox mailbox will be sent automatically.
No other setting is required but if you select Send for a message when not connected to the internet, you cannot prevent any messages from being sent that remain in the Outbox when connected to the internet and launching Mail.
If you want to decide when to send messages that were composed when not connected to the internet, save the messages as a Draft. Open the saved Draft message and select Send.

Mail, how can you remove an image that shows up in the header?

I have no idea how this image got where it is, but I would like to remove it. When I open Mail, I see in the address area of the email as it displays in the message viewer, to the very right of that area, there is an image, that I have no idea how it got there or how to remove. The following is a link (I think) Mail/Users/alaska_juliens/Desktop/Picture 7.png ...... that shows what I am talking about. I have gone through my signatures and made sure that image isn't in there and it isn't. Please help, it is driving my husband nuts, we would love to change the image to his company logo if possible, but we don't know if that image even shows up when others receive email from us or not (we email ourselves and it is right there in the address header of the email). Thank you for your time and help.

Typically what shows up there is the address book picture for that contact. If they attach an image it will be added to the address book.
So go to the contact in address book and change or delete the image.

Set page to include with NO hyperlink, now how do I get rid of rollover hand?

Hi, I set my page to include in the navigation, but not to be hyperlinked. But when I roll over it with the mouse, a hand appears like it is a clickable link. I don't want the hand to appear, does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Recently upgraded to Windows 7. Some downloads requested are diverted to Windows Explorer although Firefox has been set up to send them to documents. How fix?

This does not happen with websites that open download directly to PDF files. It happens with video files such as those from Revolution Golf. It did not occur with Windows XP.

Feedback helps contributors and many other users.
Have you tried to download to Windows Explorer to see what happens? You could find that there will be later offers to download to Documents, Desktop, Pictures etc. Or a search may find just where the PDF has gone.
Try going to Options>Applications>Your PDF Reader> Preview in Firefox.
You can then download PDFs to your browser and then Save them to Documents or wherever you want.

Mac Mail: How do I remove deleted emails' subject history from mailbox search

Even though the emails are long deleted (& deleted from trash) when I enter in the mail search field old email subjects still appear?
Is there a way to stop this happening?

I just tried to backup my iphone to update to newest software and got the error message: iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone. How can I backup without losing my information?

I called apple and did what they asked but it didn't work.

I got this problem when I tried to configure out-going email and add an account to farm administrator group.

This I have seen before...
It can be that the SMTP relay server is configured to only allow certain IP ranges or addresses.
It can be that the firewall on the SP server does not allow for SMTP traffic (normally 25, for example for Exchange).
It can be that there is an Antivirus on the SP server(Client AV) that prohobits the Timer service to send email from this server. I have seen MacAfee do this. Needed an policy change.
If, its the builtin SMTP service you are using, check this link:

It sounds like the iPad wasn't erased to me. If the iPad is totally cleared of content, there should be nothing on it and no backup to create.
Without connecting the iPad to your computer - Launch iTunes on you computer and go to Edit>Prefences>Devices. Do you see an iPad backup in there? If you do see it, delete it.

I was set up to use mac mail but it is slow so I have switched back to gmail. When I write an email the first letter of each sentence does not capitalize and it use to. what do i do...

Talk to Google. Gmail is not an Apple product. Writing an email message is using the Google editor.

From the Mail menu bar, select
Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Look for the unwanted SMTP (outgoing mail) account in the window that opens. Double-click it. Another window will open, showing a list of all the outgoing mail accounts. The unwanted one will be selected. Click the minus-sign button to delete it, then click OK.
If there's more than one unwanted account, repeat.
