There's no built-in option, and the workaround is rather complex. I would advise against it, since "read receipts" are not a standard part of the email protocol, and most email clients cannot return receipts or have it turned off anyway.

Click on the systems preferences icon located in your dock at the bottom of the screen (it looks like a couple of gears.) Click on Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Then Choose the add account option and pick which email service you want from the right pane. I'm running Lion.

How do I set a "normal" home-page in Firefox for Android? I don't want the homepage to be the "awesome screen" (which I personally don't find to be very awesome - way too much going on in one page for a small smartphone screen).
I just want a regular home page that I can set myself. For example, in Firefox for my personal laptop, I've set my homepage Google.com. In Firefox on my work computer, I've set my homepage to our company intranet login. I really prefer and need this flexibility in setting my home page.
In Firefox for Android, if I go into Settings/Customize/Homepage , the only options I see for changing the home page is to de-select certain items on the "awesome screen". There's no option to set a URL address for a normal homepage. If I de-select/hide all the items on the awesome screen, I simply get a blank home page (no web page, just a prompt telling me to enter a URL address).
The other major browsers for Android allow me to set a "normal" home page. Firefox is my favorite browser for my laptop. I wish I could get it to work normally for Android. :( :( :(

You won't be able to add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

G4 (800MHz) connects to airport network via N300 wireless modem but won't bring up a browser page (Safari or Firefox) - so the connection is there, everything says its a goer - I get a clear black signal icon in the menu bar on top, and a clear signal strength in the Internet connect dialogue box - - but when I run either of the browsers, it just says 'not connected to internet' - even for the 'software update'.
the N300 is a Netgear N300 Wirelsess Modem Router (model DGN2200) - ADSL (802.11 b/g/n)

tests to try:
-- have you tried connecting by cable? What happens?
-- Set your dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 This is the google dns server. generally faster.
Check out your settings.
apple > system preferences > network
Double click on network connection you are using.
Pick the TCP/IP tab.
Verify that you have a DNS Server.
You can use
harddrive > applications > utilities > network utility
to diagnose the situation.
You can ping google.com.

If pinging 17.254.3.183 works but pinging Google.com doesn't. You have a bad DNS Server address.

I cannot set up synch with bookmarks in safari since there is no synch icon in preferences in safari.

This is crazy. The directions on firefox keep telling you to go to links that do not exist to import bookmarks from safari.
For example, it says;
Firefox imports Safari settings automatically. Just go to File > Import... and select Safari. In the next window, check the boxes of what you want to import. For example, your Safari Bookmarks will appear in Firefox's Bookmarks menu as "From Safari." Whatever other bookmarks you had on your Safari Bookmarks Bar will automatically appear on your Firefox Bookmarks Bar, too.
BUT THERE IS NO IMPORT LINK UNDER FILES ON FIREFOX!
Then I tried to add a device. I got the code but the continue link was not on ever. I tried it over and over and it does not work.
WHO MAKES THIS SYSTEM??? How can something that should be so simple be so impossible, and why does Firefox direct you to links that do not exist or, if they exist, do not work!

How to change/set the browser title from web forms (XP platform with SP2)

I am running Form9i, I have set the browser windows title from Web Forms dynamically by using following method. However, when my PC has changed to XP, the function seems not work. Does anybody have same problem and how to solve it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am relatively new to macs, and i cannot figure out:
How do i set up a "mail" account?
Should i have an online account, such as hotmail to do it?
Do i need to pay to install a server to access "mail"?

You need the following:
-your user name at the email address provider - it could be [email protected] or it could be yourname. It depends on the provider.
-your password
-the name of your .pop incoming mail source - like pop.gmail.com
-the name of your .smtp outgoing mail source - like smtp.gmail.com
Then go to preferences in Mail and the accounts pane and click +. Ask your provider if they have any specific settings you need but otherwise you'll be fine.

How do I set TB so it does NOT alert me when junk mail arrives?

I keep TB up most of the time in the background while I work because I frequently get emails from my clients and family during the day. The problem is that I also get a lot of junk mail and so TB is also constantly notifying me of this junk mail. This distracts me from my work and takes time from my working day to check what just came in when I hear the notification. I would like to have the option in Settings to select which accounts (I have 4) and which folders within each account should notify me. I need to have ready access to the junk folders so I can check them occasionally for legitimate mail but I don't need to know every time something arrives there. I would like to be notified when new mail arrives in one of the Inbox's but not when it arrives in a Spam or Bulk or Junk folder. Thank you, DaveWK

If you are referring to a toolbar icon, look for a disabled extensions in your addons "extensions" disabled extensions appear after enabled ones.
If you are referring to the white print on black background buttons/menus within the search webpage, that is because Mozilla changed the default home page from a Google page
to a one of their own. You can set your home page to be one from Google such as
http://www.google.com or other page of your choice. The Google application choices to not show up automatically, you will want to make sure you are signed into Google, and that you have visited the Google application.
