In Mail on the iPad, is there an easy way to place emails in the junk file like on the iMac?

Is there an easy way to place emails received on my iPad into a junk file like you can do on the iMac by using a junk icon to stop certain emails from reoccuring?

You would need to first set up a junk folder, once that is done, when you are previewing message there is an icon on top of a folder with an arrow inside it, tap on it, this is the move action, in the folder list that now appears tap on the junk folder.

Yes, SAVE AS makes sense now you have illustrated it. Would an opportunity to rename the copy file have been a good idea? Additionally, a place to save the copy, something like the old PC way?
I got to this question, because of another incident which ended up with many duplicates, the help files did not know what the question DELETE DUPLICATE was? I have therefore ended up deleting individual duplicate files as a 'work around'. The learning curve hey.

Is there an easy way to take a layered Id cc file and save and open in an older Ps?

I am trying to proof and edit a book being made at a school where they are using Id cc. I do not have Id, and am trying to figure out how they can save the layered file to send me and open in Ps or Ai. All I see is converting to a pdf file but it seems complicated to keep the layers as is. They tried sending me pdf files and neither Ps or Ai will open them. And not sure if they saved in layers. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Just to be clear, you are asking about Photoshop cc? I don't see how that would be a good choice in editing InDesign files. You would need to have the school send you a PDF that you would need to open in Photoshop, which would rasterize all of the text, making it uneditable. I've never tried to edit anything with text in Photoshop, so if there is a way to keep the live type, I'm not aware of it, but even if you could keep live type, Photoshop's text abilities are very basic. InDesign is what you really need to use, and if the school has CC files, I don't see any way you can edit files that they could use without using InDesign CC. At the very least, you would need to use some version of InDesign, if not the CC version, but then you would have to deal with the problems that can happen when sharing files of different versions.
And if you are considering editing with Illustrator, your type will likely break apart. I made an example that I'm posting as a screenshot.
I copied a paragraph of my response to you, pasted into InDesign, exported as a PDF, then opened the PDF in Illlustrator. The upper paragraph is live, and the lower is the Illustrator that I placed below. They look the same, but I have changed the color of the live type (after the export) to show you how it breaks apart. The first magenta bit is one text fragment. When the font changes to bold, it creates a new fragment (shown in green), then a third (in blue) when it goes back to Roman. The whole second line (in yellow) has been converted to outlines, so I can't edit it at all. If I wanted to remove two of the magenta words and insert 5 different words, the rest of the line wouldn't flow. That's what you're up against if you edit with Illustrator.
ID is the only real choice, and if they have CC, you should be using CC.

Is there an easier way to see all my texts from one friend? The harder way is just clicking "see more messages" over and over again on the iPhone.

If a password is filled then that can only be done if the password is saved in the password manager.<br />

I am deploying my flash swf in dreamweaver, however i have a
problem my image is not fillng the whole of my browser screen
idealy 1000 x 600 and I am getting horible white borders around my
artwork.
I have
A used the properties settings in flash and sett my both my
stages to 1000 x 600 including my preloader
which the main swf loads into
B used the publish settings to match my document setting in
percent so they align in the middle of the page
Is there anything I can do in dreamweaver so my swf file
always fills the whole browser screen?

A flash file is proportional, and a web browser viewport
isn't necessarily
proportional.
So, unless you are forcing a persons web browser to a set
size (and I'd
STRONGLY not recommend doing that...ESPECIALLY at the size
you want) then
you'll need to confine your actual SWF file to a specific
size on the page
itself.

The stage in Flash is not what tells the web browser what
size to set the
SWF on the HTML page itself. That's done in the HTML when you
'publish/export' your SWF file from flash using the HTML tab.

Well, you set the width and height to 100%, but that will
distort your SWF
file if people change the aspect ration of their browser from
that of the
SWF file.

Is there an easy way to switch mini dvi between monitor and tv?

I would like to be able to connect my mini's dvi output to a either a monitor or my tv. I am not trying to get a display on both simultaneously. With a DVI to DVI cable between mini and monitor and a dvi to hdmi cable between mini and tv I think that I can swap dvi connections at the mini, but that looks like a pain. Is there an easier way to do this?
I am about to order the dvi to hdmi cable. Is the mac mini's dvi port hot plugable or do I need to put the mini to sleep or shut down? Thanks,

Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Without some extra hardware, you can't. The mini, like all Macs, looks for data from the display to determine what settings it makes available to the user, so with two displays connected and feeding their available configurations, the mini will get very confused! Even if the two displays have one or more common settings that will actually work, each time the mini boots or wakes and detects the display, one or other (or both) are likely to go blank.
There are adaptors you might consider, such as those from Gefen, but they are not inexpensive. Have a look at http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproductlisting.jsp?listingCategory=Switchers&productTy pe=dvi for a list of available switching options, though beware that for the most part, the need being met is for TWO sources and ONE display, not your ONE source and TWO displays.

HTML Article Management: Is there an easier way to perform batch updates?

I have a folio with many html articles.
After a batch of edits I need to update the folio via FolioBuilding panel.
I've tried 2 ways both however both are time consuming;
1) via Updates: updating is time consuming because i have to select each artcle, go to menu select update, wait till complete, repeat for each article.
2) via reimport: select each article, go to menu & select delete, wait till complete, repeat for each article then re-import all articles
Is there an easier way to accomplish batch updates?

Just use "import" & the sw insts' will load and assign accordingly, automatically.
But oddly, there are times when importing a SMF w/imbedded prgm changes, that LP8 loads a completely wrong instrument to a specific track(s).
One reason that I've kept only one of my trustworthy external midi modules (Roland XV5080), specifically for just importing SMFs'. When the XV is in GM mode, any standard midi files I import to LP8... always load pgm changes correctly 100% of the time.

I discovered that I had accidentally imported several folders with the wrong filename prefix. I use the first three letters so it corresponds to the camera I shot it with, the program I exported it from, or the person who sent it to me. The last source, essentially.
Is there an easy way I am not seeing in LR to rename all the images in a shoot without having to reimport them?

Hightlight all of the images in the folder, press F2, and set up a renaming preset to your taste, and then apply it. Note that the preset mechanism is the same one used at import.

Is there and easy way for Position control using analog input?

Hi Everyone,
I would like to set one of the axis with stepper motor using analog feedback to keep the set position which is coming from the analog input.
In other words I would like the stepper to move when the analog input changes. I need it as a "background service" so the rest of the motion could be easily controlled from the NI-Motion Assistant.
Is there any easy way to do this? Even complicated is ok but the control should be done by the NI Motion card not the PC processor.

You can only view the thumbnail sized pics. You have to import to view full size.

What size hard drive do you have in your MacBook? The cheapest options are, a larger internal hard drive, or an external drive. Or you could get a cheap desktop PC and network to it for storage. I've got one that lives in the hall with 3 Terabytes (That's 3000gb) of storage.

It all depends on what I need to use the document for.
When I need to create a text document that I need to share at work I use OnLive Desktop. This gives me a Windows 7 Desktop with Office 2010 apps on it that I can connect to DropBox. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/onlive-desktop/id490292278?mt=8 or CloudOn https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cloudon/id474025452?mt=8. You have to be connected to a FAST wifi network to use this option.
If I need to create a Word doc on the go I use QuickOffice Pro. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quickoffice-pro-hd-edit-office/id376212724?mt=8
Connects to DropBox.

Connects to iCloud and you can open in Pages from DropBox.
