Reports Builder 11g doesn't work on 64-bit OS-system (linux also). You can only use an VM-maschine with 32-bit OS or wait until oracle fineshed the Builder for 64-bit.

Application installed but does not appear in main menu

after i uninstalled facebook application with my i pod touch and try to reinstall it, application store said it was installed but icon does not appear in main menu.please hel.tnks

Did you try to use the search function "spotlight" to find the app on your device? Go to your main screen and swipe once more to the right to open spotlight and search for it.
Also try to reset the ipod by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again, or reset your Home Screen by going to Settings/General/Reset ->Reset Home Screen

IDVD burned disk does not start at main menu

The IDVD burned disk starts randomly in the middle of the disk. Cannot access the main menu. I started with an IMovie with chapter headings, videos and pictures. Then shared it with IDVD, created themes, music, changed the headers, etc. Burned the disk using the File Burn DVD command. The disk takes over 1 1/2 hours (IMovie orginal is 15 minutes) to burn.

First, are you using iMovie 9?
Did you set chapter markers in iMovie? Did you follow the Chaper Marker Rules?
RULES: No marker at the beginning of your movie, no markers within 2 seconds of the beginning or end of the movie, and no markers on or within 2 seconds of your movie.
Next, did you put your movie in iDVD and then go make any changes to it? Sometimes that causes the chapters to default to the same spot in the movie. The only solution is to recreate the iDVD project.
You should first try deleting iDVD's preference file. You can find this by closing iDVD, going to your Home file (YourUserName)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.idvd.plist
Drag this plist file to the trash. iDVD will create a new one when you relaunch it.
Reopen iDVD.
Try creating the disk image file again or burning a disk again.
If that results in the same problem, create a new iDVD project. Then, drag in the iMovie project from the Media/Movies pane in iDVD instead of sharing it from iDVD.
Post back if that does not resolve the issue.

DVD not opening with main menu when loaded.

I created a DVD with three short movies and three slide shows. I've made several similar type DVDs and they all open with the main menu when loaded. But in this case, when loaded in the player, it opens with the first movie, not the main menu.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Open Map View within iDvd. Is there a movie in the top / first box? If so, select it (one click) and hit the delete key. Now preview your iDvd. If it plays as expected (including the menu and buttons) then proceed with encoding and burning it to Verbatim dvd-r.

Is anyone having problems with iCloud not properly working on their MAC?

it seems like iCloud works great between my iPhone 4S and my MACBOOK, particularly with Mail, they seem to sync perfectly however, the same does not happen with my iMac! With iCloud are all your systems suppose to sync the same? if so what should I be doing to make sure I'm using iCloud properly?

Are you guys by anychance on Optimum Online? My family is having the same issue; they are able to access all services on their 3G devices, and I can access their accounts from my home, which is not on Optimum -- only having this issue through Optimum's cable internet.

F# keys and Fn key not properly working.

I'm using MacBook Pro with Max OS X Leopard 10.5.1.
I installed Windows XP Pro using the Boot Camp and the keyboard function keys are not working properly. I know how to use Boot Camp Control Panel but either I chec or not 'Use the F1-F12 keys to software features' checkbox, it's not working. It was working just fine before I upgrade the Max OS and the boot camp.
Wheater it is checked or not, I just cannot control the hardware features, such as brightness, volume, backlight, etc... Since the Fn key is not working, I cannot use the Home, End, Page Up and Page down keys either.
More annoying thing is that is happens on and off. One day I turn it on and it works fine, but if I reboot the laptop, it doesn't work.
Anyone experiencing the same symptoms?
Whoever knows the solution, please share it with me. Thank you.

Using the fn key did not make the difference with my issue. I had set and re-set the fn key function in the Boot Camp control panel to no avail.
What I did discover is that when i logged out and logged back into XP the function key functionality returned. I don't know if that a permanent fix (i.e., it will work correctly from now on) or if it's a workaround (every time I boot into XP, I have to log out/log in to get the keys to work properly). I'll post again when I know for sure.

List of values not properly working in the selection screen.

Dear Mates,
In BEx query all the selection parameters are working and showing all the list of values. Created the same report in crystal from BEx query, for one particular selection it is not showing the list of values or drop down. Just showing "DISCRETE VALUES"

I think you have more than one dynamic parameter created in your report. There is a limitation on dynamic parameter list of values. You will have to edit the registery to get all values in dynamic parameters list.
Find below is a knowledgebase article ;
Symptom
For performance reasons, in Crystal Reports XI Release 1 and Release 2 the maximum number of values that are returned for a list of values is set to 1000. If you have a cascading List of Values (for example Country > Region > City), the lowest level (in this case City) will only display a maximum of 1000 values. This means that the higher-level prompts may display far fewer values than you expect. The list of values provides the data for the dynamic parameter list.
How can you modify the maximum number of values available in a dynamic parameter list?
Resolution
To increase the maximum number of values available in a dynamic parameter list, you must add a registry key.
CAUTION
The following resolution involves editing the registry. Using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall the Microsoft Windows operating system. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. For information on how to edit the registry key, view the 'Changing Keys and Values' online Help topic in the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
It is strongly recommended that you make a backup copy of the registry files (System.dat and User.dat on Win9x computers) before you edit the registry.

Submit Button Not Properly Working

Hello Everyone,
I've been working with the tutorial Create a Form to Upload Spreadsheet Data <http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/howtos/howto_create_upload_spreadsheet_form.html>. This tutorial teaches you how to load data into Oracle tables from a CSV file.
When my Submit button does not have a target page the application will allow me to add data to the table but it will throw an error -- ERR-1777: Page 1 provided no page to branch to.. When the Submit button does have a target page it will not enter any data to the table.
I would like for my submit button to successfully run the process from the tutorial and then refresh back to the same page.
Any ideas/help will be appreciated!

Adobe Flash v11.3.370.178 not properly working in Server 2012 RP?

Has anyone gotten the bundled Flash to work in Server 2012? Even if I completely disable all security within IE x86/x64/RT, the best I see is a blank interface for Flash that is the correct
size of what I'm trying to load, but no content displays and no flash interfaces show up. Right clicking does bring up the Flash context menu. If from there I go to About Adobe Flash Player, the version info will only show up on Adobe's site right
as I close the tab, and it’s much larger than it should be for the half a second it shows up.
This is broken in the released VHD and ISO so far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what you mean by Windows controlling Internet Security. There are some settings that other browsers will respect from Internet Settings, but not many, and the firewall works
as a firewall should, can you clarify?

If security, privacy or contents settings in "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Internet Options" are more restrictive than the Firewall, the Internet Options will govern. Specifically, when it comes to scripts, executables or anything
else from the internet that Windows thinks could change the system when it is opened, Windows will not let it be opened. I don't really know this for a fact, it is just my opinion, but I've seen enough indications. And UAC just makes it worse.
You are right that this is best done with Group Policy, especially on production systems. The only reason you would do what I described is that it is an isolated test system and you are trying to get clues as to what policies you could try
setting to get it working the way you want (on the test system, of course).
I have my USB flash setup the way I want it and I will test it tomorrow. It seems I never do anything the easy way, I had to make it elaborate. I have set up so that it should be able to boot both efi and mbr, and will offer a menu of four OS setup
entries and a Recovery Console entry. I've got Windows7, Windows 8, Server 2008R2, and Server 2012, all x64. I've been using bcdedit for most of the last five or six hours.

type isn't a program its a dos command.
You either need to put your commands in a .bat file or find a program you can use to do a print from the command line.
My theory is. If it works from the run.. box in sthe start menu it will work with client_host.
All the above assumes a windows client.

Preview iView / Open iView in new window not properly working

I've got a question regarding previewing an iView (by pressing the "Preview" button in its properties) or opening an iView in a new Window by clicking on a button for instance. The problem is that when the window is opened, the iView cannot be displayed and a Portal Runtime exception is thrown, with the message "Cannot find iView" iView: N\A. This is very strange, since sometimes it works, when i test it on a different browser, but even on the same browser on which it works , sometimes it still fails, and displays "Cannot find iView". Does anybody have any clue what this problem can be? Basically it happens most of the time, but sometimes (randomly?) it works. I guess it may be a problem with caching, but i haven't resolved the reason yet. Thanks very much.

Try playing around with the load settings. Specifically, try turning off client-side caching, your browser might be getting confused depending on the kind of iview you are previewing.
A couple of questions:
1. What kind of iview is it?
2. Does it work if you stick it on a page and preview the page?
