In my small office ethernet network all of a sudden one of my imacs cannot be connected to. It can connect to all other computers and can access internet, but as soon as someone tries to connect to that mac, it disconnects from the network. Any ideas

I have a network of 9 macs that connect via ethernet and a router. All of a sudden one of the macs cannot be connected to. It can connect to all others and the internet, but no one can connect to that one. I have appletalk active and file sharing on, but everytime someone tries to connect to it, it is not on the network. Additionally, the personal file sharing keeps turning off even though I have it locked. Any ideas?

bizarre encrypted filesystem plugins and scripts you have manipulating them all the time
because I do not have any such running, just normal Applescripts that do tasks that could be done by hand.

My husband has a Mac mini, vintage 2009, running Snow Leopard. All other computers and devices in the house are able to connect to our wireless network, but since I upgraded his computer to Snow Leaopard it won't connect. What is the problem?

What am I missing here. I'm sure it is some kind of sitting that is not right.

Power off and then back on the router
What happens when you enter the network's PW?
Try forgetting/deleting the network if necessary. To do that go to System Preferences>Network>wifi>Advanced and select the network and click on the minus sign

As of today this is all i get when trying to connect to every single ftp account i have. It's not the server cause it's every one and there is several different. Tried passive and non-passive same result. I've connected fine with other FTP clients. So this must be another dreamweaver bug. Anyone know what to do?

Very hard to diagnose these problems, particularly as you can connect using a 3rd party program.

Doesn't load a certain website I have. My site loads on all other computers, and in different browsers on my Mac???

I'm building a store and for some reason FireFox for Mac seems to not want to load it all the time. Sometimes it just stops loading the site even though the server is up and it loads in all other browsers. It only happens on my computer and it's really frikken annoying. It's coming to the point where I will have to switch browsers if I cannot find a fix. It's impossible to work on a site when FireFox refuses to load it at times, but I have NO idea why!!
Chrome for Mac loads the site INSTANTLY, but I like to use FireFox because of the helpful add-ons it has.
I'm not posting the URL here because it is an adult store and I'm not sure if that is allowed.
I just think it's weird that FireFox ONLY does it on this site, and ONLY does it on my computer. It's been doing it for weeks now, since I started the site. The other weird thing is that when I Quit FF completely and restart it, my site loads fine. I can be working on it for hours and then BOOM, FF decides to be a royal P.I.T.A.
Is there any way to troubleshoot this issue?

Vpn client can access internet but cannot access internal network

I am using PIX 501 to setup a VPN. At first the VPN client cannot access the internet once they logged in via the Cisco system vpn client, so i enable split tunneling. Now the VPN client can access the internet but they can't access the internal network.Due to the limited characters can be posted here, only necessary IOS coding is posted on the next message. Users assigned directly to a SharePoint group can access a site if a user is in a security group that is a member of the SharePoint group, it doesn't work

I recently installed SharePoint 2013 SP1 and thus far all seems to be going well. I do have one issue concerning permissions to a team site I have created:
1. If add a user User1 only to a SharePoint group that has edit permissions to the site, that user can log in successfully.
2. If add a user User1 only to a security group that is a member of the aforementioned SharePoint group, the user gets "the site has not been shared with you. The security group is a global SG, though I tried changing it to universal
but that did not help
I have tried updating the SPSecurityTokenServiceConfig as briefly described at this link:
http://macaalay.com/2014/05/27/active-directory-groups-and-access-denied-in-sharepoint-2013/. I performed the steps and it did not work. I also
tried rebooting the server after that, and that did not work either. any thoughts?

I tested the issue on SharePoint server 2013 without sp installed. It worked and I used global security group. I will test the issue on SharePoint 2013 sp1 later, and please provide more information to narrow down the issue.
Please go to site settings > site permissions > check permission, type in domain\user1, and post the result here.
If the user has been granted permission, please try logging on another machine to test if Windows credential casues the issue.
Did the issue occur to one site collection? Please test on other sites or web applications?
Please create new user to test the issue again.

How to not allow someone to load text messages that have been deleted from the phone however apps are still able to reteive them

Someone is trying to access the text messages that have been deleted off of my phone thru an app (unknown app)
I do have somethings that I want to remain private in my phone and I either need help to delete them for good. Or block them

Let me rephrase that. They can't unless they had physical possession of your phone and installed spyware on it.

I have tried network diagnostics which doesnt help... The only other ting is, when I woke the computer up it said tat another device was using my IP... My wife had plugged her phone into the computer to charge etc but even when i turn wifi off on the phone there is no change... also in settings on the phone the IP address is different...

The answer to your question is - neither!
Your PC should to configured to obtain an IP address automatically, and to obtain DNS server IP addresses automatically, from the Airport Express. This is the way Windows (and Macs for that matter) are configued by default, and that is the way most people have their computers set up. If you manually configured your PC's IP address to be the same as your wife's Mac, it certainly explains why your PC is not able to access the internet.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
