In need of a step-by-step instruction manual
I have purchased an
IPod clone? model ?ZEN Vision W60?, from Creative, installed the software (version 5.60.07), and now I am trying to transfer MP3 and AVI files from the computer to the Creative gadget.
The multi-language manual depicts the very basics only, and the Help file on the CD doesn?t answer all aspects either.
Is there a better manual with screenshots available to avoid hours of trials to get things right? I have never used such a gadget before.
I have a number of folders named according to the singer, orchestra, etc. with all the MP3 files in the folder. Now I have them on the gadget, but can't see any folders (just wildly mixed song titles).
Every cellular phone has a big manual that explains various functions and setting step by step. This device (really nice) lacks it's

If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. I am trying to upgrade to Snow Leopard but need to backup before upgrading. How do I backup os x 10.4 tiger on Mac pro to an external hard drive. Does any one have step by step instruction?

A bootable clone is an exact copy of your drive which is capable of booting your computer. Making a copy of your computer which is capable of actually starting the computer requires special copying procedures which simply dragging files in Finder won't achieve. Some people just back up data files but if you have problems you have to reinstall all your operating system and all your applications. With a bootable clone you just start up from the backup drive and clone back everything.

Ok, fine. That isn't Acrobat, and that's why our instructions weren't much use. (But it's worth saying "I didn't have that option" rather than "it's not converting", we could end up wasting a lot of your time with the wrong stuff!)
Anyway, the free Adobe Reader can't do this conversion without a subscription called either ExportPDF or PDF Pack. You may have had one in the past. Are you still paying for one? -

I am a complete newbie when it comes to adding a barcode to a form, so I need simple step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
I am not familiar with scripting, and am hoping to do most things through the toobars & object detail menus, etc.
I do know how to wrap objects in a sub-form, however.
BREAKDOWN:
Form with numerous text fields and a few checkboxes
Need to add a barcode:
Type: Paper Forms Barcode
Symbology: PDF417
Scanning Method: Handheld Scanner
Barcode must capture information from 6 text fields + 1 checkbox

I have managed to put a barcode onto the form, and use tab delimiting.
I am using the 'automatic scripting' feature as I don't know scripting.
The barcode displays data from a 'collection' I created by selecting 6 fields.
However, I want the barcode to encode the field information (field name, field data) IN A SPECIFIC ORDER.

Firefox is not enabling me to cut and paste when I'm working on my business website. I can tried the key commands and they didn't work either. The instructions that were linked for Changing the preferences in Firefox were very complicated and even when I thought I found the correct place to add the user_pref lines to allow clipboard, the message was DO NOT MODIFY THIS PAGE.
