Hi,
Does anyone know of a Novell Consultant in the Washington DC metro
area who can provide expert consulting service? We want to implement
Zenworks Server for monitoring and managing our servers, but will like
to talk to an expert first. We are looking at 2-3 hours of consulting

MBP A1211 Battery Needs to be Services

MBP indicates battery needs to be serviced. Can I solve this by buying/installing a new battery. Note please that battery indicator shows full charge, which drops with use. Thanks for any help

Apple considers the battery in your MBP to be a consumable item - and it sounds as if yours is consumed. Get in touch with your local Apple Store or an AASP and see how much a new battery would cost - you don't say which model you have or if yours is a user-replaceable or non-user-replaceable battery, so I can't guess at the cost.

You can still deauthorize an individual computer from the iTunes Menus.
You can de-authorize only once a year 'all' computers from your iTunes account page.

Is there any way I can get around this problem (see notes below)?
Here is the problem I am having:
Type: Dataset copy
Status: Failed
Description: DPM could not reserve the drive resource because one of required drive resources is not online or it needs cleaning or servicing. (ID 24052)

Issue: DPM doesn’t support multiple long-term backup goals if you only have a single tape drive.
Workaround: Add a second tape drive to DPM or to the tape library.
Notes:
I have verified that the option for the number of tape copies is not greater than 1 for any protection goal in any of the 3 protection groups.
I do have multiple long-term backup goals, and I only have a single tape drive. I don’t want to add a second tape drive to DPM or to the tape library. I think this is a ridiculous solution. I was thinking of creating two types of backup
jobs for ones for short term backups and for one larger job long term backups (weekly and monthly).
The tape backups complete, just the "Dataset copy" doesn't happen.

Need JDeveloper Web Service with HTTP POST method

Hello all,
I am creating a Web Service from a java class using JDeveloper. The wsdl created uses a SOAP binding. When I test the web service, either through JDeveloper or by deploying to OAS, the HTTP request created uses the HTTP GET protocol. I am assuming that this would be the same for anybody doing this.
I need to know how to change it to be an HTTP POST protocol instead.
The reason that I need to try and use the POST method is that the xml needed by the service holds a lot of data and the http server is giving me a "URI too long" error. I have read and been told that using POST instead of GET would help this, but I can't figure out what to change to make this happen. I am not sure if I have to make a change in the generated wsdl or somewhere else. Or if it just won't work that way.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Have you tried contacting that web site's support department for help with that issue? 
If that web site can't find the add-on it says is needed, they need to fix that problem with their servers.
Or you can try using IE Tab2 to run IE in a Firefox tab.

Invoice list is basically SD configuration.
Invoice List
Purpose
The invoice list lets you create, at specified time intervals or on specific dates, a list of billing documents (invoices, credit and debit memos) to send to a particular payer.
The billing documents in the invoice list can be single or collective documents (collective invoices combine items from more than one delivery).
The standard version of the SAP R/3 System includes two types of invoice lists:
1.for invoices and debit memos
2.for credit memos
If you wish, you can process invoices, debit memos, and credit memos at the same time. The system automatically creates a separate invoice list for credit memos.
A payer may be the head office of a buying group, which pays all the invoices for goods that are shipped to individual members. The group payer takes responsibility for paying the invoice lists and then collecting payment from the individual members. In return for these services, the group payer usually earns a factoring or del credere discount.
Depending on the tax structure of the payer's country, the payer may be liable to pay taxes on factoring discounts that he earns. In Germany, for example, factoring discounts are taxed at the standard rate of 15%. During invoice list processing, you can reimburse the payer in advance for this tax liability by creating special condition records

Need hosted mail service for managing my 60 email accounts in one place.

I have 60 mail accounts in my email client on personal computer (such as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc.). I can retrieve mails from this accounts and send mails using their own SMTPs.
Now I need do the same on server hosted email service. Is it possible with Microsoft Exchange 2013? Someone told me that this feature was removed in Microsoft Exchange 2013. Is it true?
Also, hosted Office365 Outlook and Microsoft’s Exchanged Hosted service such as “Microsoft Exchange Online“ can add only 5 mail accounts (see here, I mean this feature https://tinyurl.com/lcs9aqg ).
So, what to do? Is there any resolution?
Or should I search other mail server hosting than Microsoft Exchange? Which one?

Ipod Needs to be Serviced Help

I have the "sad" ipod screen when I try to turn my ipod (40gb click wheel) on. I want to send it in and have it serviced, but when I try to set it up online, it says my serial number can't be verified. I typed it correctly. It says to contact HP, but I have no idea how to go about that.
On another note, is there anything else I can do? I can't get it in disk mode, it won't show up on my computer, etc. I wouldn't even care if I had to restore it, but nothing I do works.

Make sure you try to restore the ipod via itunes, if that doesn't work, you can also try removing the songs that wont sync from the computer, reload them and try again. If neither of these work and you are using the latest version of itunes and a compatible computer then most likely you do need a repair. Sorry

URGENT! BT line needed for LifeLine Service!

My parents are trying to get a phoneline installed into a new-build bungalow for my Gran who replies on a lifeline pendant. They called in the middle of March to order the phone number to be transferred to the new address only to be told the earliest that it could be done was 28th April! They eventually managed to get someone to agree to 8th April but that date was put back and they were promised 16th April, the day before my Gran was to move home, on that day aparently two engineers were supposed to turn up, because the 2nd engineer arrived before the first, he found initial work hadn't been completed and left the property. We're not sure whether engineers have even turned up as the wiring is already installed and the bungalow was locked. move date has come and gone and still no phoneline despite BT making various excuses. My Mum is at the end of her tether with the constant stream of excuses, today she's received a text message saying that the phone line is now active (the phone is dead) and when calling to report it, she's been told the order has been cancelled.
My Gran relies on lifeline and the lack of a phone means that this is putting her life at risk as well as unneccessary worry for my Mum and stress in trying to deal with the call centres who seem to have a different excuse everytime something is not done. Is there somewhere (preferably in the Uk) we can get in touch with so the phoneline activation can be managed properly as I do believe the overseas call centre staff do not understand and/or do not care about the seriousness of the situation we're in?
