  • Can you export aperture file in bmp format?

I have a game that I would like to combine picture files with, the game only recognizes bmp files. I import the files (as bmp files) into Aperture and edit them and when I export them they always come out as jpeg files. Is there anyway I can export them in the bmp format?
    Thanks

Using Applescript it is possible to do the conversion using Image Events.  This script (modified from a script I found online) will convert the selected image into BMP format saving it as a new file:
set this_file to choose file without invisibles
set the target_file to (choose file name default name "newimage.bmp")
-- convert file reference in alias format to path string
set the target_path to the target_file as Unicode text
    try
              tell application "Image Events"
-- start the Image Events application
      launch
      -- open the image file
                        set this_image to open this_file
      -- save in new file
save this_image as BMP in target_path with icon
-- purge the open image data
      close this_image
              end tell
    on error error_message
display dialog error_message buttons {"Cancel"} default button 1
    end try

Can you import Dreamweaver files into Muse, how?

If the images aren't showing up in DW, why do you think they will show in Muse?  Obviously, something is wrong with the paths to those images.  And that will most likely be due to the underlying code.
Can you post an example of a problem page?

  • How to Export SSRS report into Excel format using query string

    Hello all,
I am new to SSRS world.
Last night i was trying to add a hyperlink  on the SSRS report (.rdl) file, by clicking which we can export the report into "Excel" format, but with no luck.
Can anybody tell me how to form the hyperlink, so that we can export the report with its current content ( I mean the report content generated by selecting some parameter values)

    Hi Suman85,
Based on your scenario, you want to add a link on the SSRS report file, and then click it you can export the report into “Excel” format.
Just as kishan1901 said , you can add a textbox to your report and type in the words “Click here and export the report
to excel” .Then right-click the textbox and select Properties. Switch to Navigation tab, click the radiobutton of ‘Jump to URL’ and type in the expression ,here is just a example:
Then preview the report ,you will see
Click here and export the report to excel
when you move the mouse to it ,the mouse will become a hand ,then left-click, it will jump out a dialog box to indicate user whether the excel file should be saved , opened or canceled.
I think this is what you want, if you have any further requirement, could you please describe it in more detail? We would give you some resolution or workaround.

  • Can you place linked files into Photoshop CS4?

If you place a .psd or .tif file into an InDesign file, you are alerted if any changes are made to that file (as I'm sure most of you know). Is there any way to do this within Photoshop? I have several dozen carpet sample .tif files that are to be used in several hundred "montage" type "carpet sample groups" layered .psd files that will then be saved as images for the web (does that make sense?). Is there any way to do this so that if there's a change in the original .tif file it will automatically change any .psd file in which it's being used? I know the easiest way to do this is in InDesign, but I have two problems: 1) the conversion from InDesign to a web image is laborious, and 2) the person doing the work does not know InDesign at all. I can show him how to use it, but that's a small part of the battle.
Any suggestions? I'm using CS4 for Windows.
    Thanks,
    Lloyd

Thanks for your comments. The problem arises because we have to create that intermediate Photoshop step.
We have, say, a dozen individual carpet swatches that are used to create hundreds of combinations (which are all separate layered .psd files). If one swatch changes (color, for example), then we have to open every .psd file in which that swatch appears and change it (or place the changed one). I'd love to be able to change the original and have it update every layered file in which it appears, just like InDesign does with placed/linked files.
    Maybe there's a plug-in (wishful thinking)?
Also, I'd really like to have it changed in the web development end of things, but we're working with a company that is (obviously) using templates and we can only give them single images, hence the need to create the intermediate Photoshop files.

  • Premiere Pro CC - How can I export custom metadata into Excel?

I'm trying to export custom metadata from Premiere CC into Excel. I can create the custom metadata and I've been using the following workflow to get it to excel:
    File: Export: Batch List
This exports a .csv file but the only metadata I can produce is a fraction of metadata from the 'Premiere Pro Project Metadata' schema. Has anyone figured this out?
    Many thanks,

I'm not familiar with Batch List exports, and I don't know of a way to export metadata as a CSV or other file adapted to Excel. The way I know to export metadata is as follows
Select clip in PPro's Project panel
    File>Export>Media
in the Export Settings dialog, click the Media button
in the Metadata Export dialog, set Export Option to Create Sidecar Fiie.
In the Output File Metadata section, select the properties in your custom schema that you want to include (and deselect any others that you don't want)
Click Okay to close Metadata Export and proceed to encode.
If you change the extension from .xmp to .xml, you'll be able to open the file in any text editor--including Excel, but not in a tabular view.

  • I can not export BioBench data to Excel format

My data acquisition driver software is NI-DAQ, and data acquisition software is Biobench (Version 1.2). It work very well before. But recently, When I want to export data from Biobench into Excel, it told me ' Error, make sure your Excell has been installed correctly'. In fact, I didn't do any change to my computer since I installed BioBench.
    What should I do?
    Thank you.

I am having this same issue:  exported slideshow eventually photos disappear, screen is white but music continues.
I am on a brand new Mac Book Pro OS X  10.7.3
    Using iPhoto 11
I did not use the Ken Burns effect - Classic instead
I have 404 photos set to music a put into Garage Band and exported into iTunes.
It plays perfect in iPhoto, which all photos at the right moments with the songs.
Then one photo skips by quickly without a transition  and a number of photos are then not seen which causes the syncronization with music to alter.
Then the photos stop all together screen turns white and the music continues.
Need to burn it to DVD have exported it twice with different results but both similar to above, each time.
One poster said the computer got too hot and he believed exporting stopped. He tried putting a fan near to keep cool and then it worked.  Sounds a bit impossible.
    Thoughts?  Thanks.

  • Can you print entire dashboard into excel

I'm trying to see in i can print/send my entire dashboard to excel, if so how do i set it up to have the download link at the bottom?

I want to say no you can't. I'm trying to imagine what you are trying to do which is to have one button that will nicely download multiple reports from a dashboard page into Excel, only downloading the reports, and nothing else. Well, that can't be done out-of-the-box and you definitely can't change the "download" link to do this.
Now, having said that, I'll give you several ways you can do this. None are pretty though.
    1) Click anywhere in your dashboard and press CNTRL-A, then CNTRL-C. This will highlight the whole dashboard and copy it to the clipboard. You can then paste it in Excel.
    2) Click on the Print>HTML. When the page renders, save it as MHTML. Then open the file in Excel. Save it as an Excel file.
    3) Third Way
    a) Open the dashboard to the page you wish to "copy."
    b) Highlight the address you see in the address bar and copy it to the clipboard.
    c) Now open up Excel and click on the "Get External Data from Web" button. (I am using Excel 2007 for this example and you can find this command by searching through the commands.)
    d) Paste the URL in the window that appears. Scroll to the end and add &Format=Excel.
    e) Click the "Go" button. The OBI login window will appear.
    f) Log in to OBI in the usual manner.
    g) The dashboard page will appear in the window along with many yellow arrows, each referring to an element on the page. Select the yellow arrow corresponding to the dashboard page itself.
    h) Click the "Import" button. The dashboard page will import into Excel.

I had gone through many topics related to my problem, but could not get satisfactory results...

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Sir,
I am rephrasing my question,i have a Comma Separated File (1042-1.txt)which i would like to convert it into an Excel file (1042-1.xls) without opening MS-Excel using java code...
So that the data in the Text file gets populated into the columns of the Excel sheet using the java code.
I am working on a CRM based application and the application is generating a Text file(1042-1.txt) through PL/SQL Packages on the Servers particular directory and this file is getting Downloaded.
My requirment is that the Users of my application should be presented with an Excel file(1042-1.xls), so that they do not have to Open the Text file in Excel and then do the Importing...instead they should be provided with the Excel file itself...
Please Can anybody provide me with a solution for the same...
    Thanks,
    Regards.
