How long for in-app purchases to become active again after submitting an expired paid contract?

We let our paid contract expire and therefore all active in-app purchases stopped working. I just filled it out and it is now in-effect, but does anyone know roughly how long before these in-app purchases will become active again?

In my statspack I am seeing resmgr:decome active 20,009 seconds waiting. We have 8 queue tables and 8 resource group. Is this resource group or queue tables are causing this wait??

Network connection slow to become active after waking from sleep.

Using MBP (2007) with OS 10.8.2 I put my machine to sleep each night after work. Each morning when I wake it, the network connection takes over 90 seconds to become active. This is on a WIRED network. Didn't have this problem before Mountain Lion upgrade. Before ML the connection was nearly instant. Any clues?

I am seeing the same issue. I believe it started after upgrading to 10.8.2. (I did not notice such long network reconnections after wake with either 10.8.0 or 10.8.1.) I am also on a wired network. Same result using DHCP and fixed IP.
The network reconnection after wake used to be nearly instantaneous.

When I click from one screen to another, Word becomes active.

Let's say I'm using Mail on my primary display. If I then click on a Safari window on my secondary display, Microsoft Word becomes active. (Its windows come to the front and the menu bar becomes the Word menu bar). I then have to click on the Safari window again to actually use it. Then let's say I click on a Finder window back on my primary display. Again, Word becomes active. Obviously this is a bug. Has anyone else seen it? Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

The device address manager is set up
the nb-me-sdk-plugins-uc plugins have all been installed
the j2me platform has been installed under the "Java Platform Manager"
the customer device editor has been set up to simulate my raspberry pi exactly as in the video below
under Installed Plugins, Java ME is active

I can run the testuser.sh program
I'm trying to follow along on the Oracle video by Simon Ritter

I also tried to install netbeans and Java Me, and got stuck on the same problem as Vinnie: the menu item `Device Selector` is grayed besides most other items in the same menu.
The grayed menu items in menu Netbeans/Tools/Java ME are:
          WMA Console,
          Java ME SDK Update Center,
          Custom Device Skin Creator
          Active Device Manager
The only one that is not grayed is: 'Device Database Search'.
I made sure the device_manager is running. You asked Vinnie to run emulator.exe from the commandline. I did and it outputs the help instructions.
I like to provide you with the log files, but how to do that? They are quite big! Dou you want me to paste the contens of the files in here?

Firefox does not become active from the Dock when I click on a email link

In OS 10.5, I can temporarily put the Firefox window off to the Dock by clicking on the yellow button in the upper left of the Firefox menu bar. In earlier versions of Firefox, the window would become active again if I clicked on a web link in an email address or document. Firefox 3.6.3 will open a tab for the web link, but stays inactive on the Dock. Why the change?

Whoever you are may lots of good things happen for you because your good deed. Know good karma is coming your way. Just changed the firefox default setting in mailto in applications to my regular email. saves tons of time and much swearing.

Program becomes active at startup - don't want it to

I have a program installed by a guy I use to help me with installation of hardware and software on my new IMAC. He has set up a program which becomes active at startup so if needed he can take control of my system. I manually turn this off after system starts up but I would like to remove it from the startup process but don't know how to go about doing that.
Would appreciate advice as to how this can be done.

The following is a long shot. You may or may not have this folder: Macintosh HD>Library>Startupitems (folder). Trash the program if it is inside.

If the above does not work, suggest that you have this friend uninstall what ever it was he installed on your computer. You should then run OS Recovery, repair permissions & restart your comp afterwards.
Apple has a built in program called Screen Sharing that you both can use. Suggest that you research the various Knowledge Base Articles regarding it. Another resource:

SimpleButton has become active in symbol editor and won't let me select or delete it

Hello all,
After weeks of editing symbols without any trouble, I'm suddenly having trouble with a movie clip in the symbol editor of Flash CS4: the simpleButton in there that I want to delete has somehow become active inside the editor--meaning it's roll over state is active, lighting up when I mouse over it--and it only animates and shows me its mouse down animation when I mouse over and click on it, instead of letting me select the button so I can just delete it.
Note that only this one button type is now active in all versions of it in symbol editor, the other simpleButtons are still normal and editable in the symbol editor.
Does anyone know why Flash is doing this? Is there a way to deactivate active buttons in symbol editing mode so I can edit them?

I'm afraid my flash file is 26 megabytes in size.. is there a way to make it smaller in size for when I rename it as a swf file? (I turned most all my graphics into vector graphics with trace bitmap, yet strangely, my file size just got heinously larger instead of modestly larger..)

Newly reset security questions not working? How long until they become active?

Okay so, I contacted Apple Support, talked to the advisor, i was able to reset my security questions and add a rescue email and a message showed up saying (With a check mark) that my information hasb een changed. Great.
After, I then decided to go to the Password and Security page (just to make sure everything was working) and I tried to enter the questions (that i had JUST reset) and all three of them came out wrong.
So obviously I was confused but...due to my amount of re entering, I got locked out.
My question, is that is there a time limit to how long after the questions are reset and until they become active?

Anyone?

Instead I always need to do a stopvpn and startvpn.
Is this a known issue ?
