In Pages, using an Invoice Template, how do I add columns, rows, or add individual functions to cells like I would using Numbers? Is it possible? I'd rather not use numbers because the invoice has a lot of writing as well.

Here's a sample of the invoice. I would like to automatically calculate the 'amounts', 'totals' and 'subtotals' sections.

Select the cells you wish to either SUM, PRODUCT, COUNT, etc...
Then, at the top of the screen, press on the INSERT heading,
then press on the FUNCTION setting,
then press on the actual function you are looking for,
and it should automatically insert the function into the appropriate cell it is needed....

This is an error that is very common on message boards, and only seems to happen fore firefox...people on chrome, IE, etc don't seem to get it. This error has been occuring since the very first version of firefox and has never been fixed since.
You get this error when you have a thread open in a tab and try to reply to it after somet ime has passed. Refreshing it doesn't fit the problem unless you use ctrl+f5. It's very annoying, when is it going to get fixed?

Well yes, ctrl+f5 will fix it...but why doesn't this problem happen in other browsers (apparently)?
It's particularly annoying when i close the browser at the end of every day and have to manually refresh all my message board tabs the next day to post.

I must have pressed some other key because the display has become huge - and I can't scroll vertically or horizontally, which makes using the Mail pages of Hotmail impossible. I have since logged in using MSFT Explorer and it works fine. This problem occurs only on the Mail page of Hotmail Live not on the home page or others.

How do I view downloaded content when the error message, not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged, shows up?

I trying to download a book as a pdf to view through my adobe reader. But every time I do I keep getting the same error message saying that the file is not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged it can't be opened or viewed. What do I do and how do I get it to work. Because as of now I only have one option of downloading the book and I've tried to download the app notable pdf to see it that worked but it didn't either. I have the same issue. Almost none of the PDFs I download from Safari browser can be opened. Same message about the file being damaged or not really a true PDF. Neither of these are the issue here. You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.

Have you tried a reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 20 seconds (maybe longer) until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider. Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.

It sounds like your file associations are messed up and Reader is trying to open your .jpg files. Is this correct?

The PDF's were saved using acrobat 9 pro. they were sent through e-mail as attachments, and they are stored in a network shared folder. our users cannot access the PDF's and i would like to know if this is a simple fix?

You may try first download PDF to the local computer and then try to open.
Also, may i know using which application, you are trying to open the document. Is it Reader /Acrobat and what is current version installed. If you have Reader XI.
The moment you open the PDF document Reader/Acrobat check for damage and tries to fix to some extent. And if the files is corrupted enough, then it through the same message.
