have you participated on here before, smihop? -- do Adobe representatives ever provide a solution? I pay monthly for all adobe cloud applications <-- doesn't it seem like that should come w/some kind of support? (especially when they push out buggy releases <-- which make me wish I could go back a version)

Adobe Photoshop Touch is not working properly on my Samsung Tablet
I just recently downloaded the Photoshop Touch App to my Samsung Tablet. The program will open and some of the tools will work, but MOST tools will not! I have attempted to clear the cashe, uninstall, and then reinstall the program. The problem persists. When will Adobe provide an update with repairs so that I can actually use the App I just bought?
Dear Guido.
We have followed instructions to uninstall and and then reinstall the Photoshop Touch program onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
It is still not working properly.
NONE of the Fx's are working. (about 26 effects!)
The Fx's under the menu headings of... "Basic" , "Stylize" , "Artistic", or "Photo" do not work!
Under the heading of "Adjustments"... only Invert, and Black and White work... NONE of the others do!
The items that do work are... the Camera Layers, Layers and Selections, Image Blending, and the Basic FX called Gaussian Blur.
Croping image size, text, etc. under the & symbol also work.
So, as you can see....at this point we have purchased an App that is practically USELESS even tho the Google Play Store said that it was compatible with our device.
Please Advise, or Create a proper Update for this device,
Thank you -

Hi bunjamin,
just go to BlackBerry World, and update all your apps including BBM.

you can turn off the magnifying glass :

you can deactivate the "reset to Hub view" :
hub >> overflow (bottom right button) >> Settings >> Display and actions >> Return to Default View When Idle >> OFF

yes, BlackBerry has acknowledged this bug in this article from the public knowledge base:

my program does not work properly. I run the program but it is not capable of adding any of my ebooks and when I connect my ereader, it recognises the device but it does not add any ebook either.
I uninstalled the program and reinstalled again but nothing gone better-
What should I do?

I just had a conversation with Linksys' Customer Service via chat: Daphne L. J: Hello Fernando Paramo. My name is Daphne L..
Daphne L. J: Welcome to Linksys Global Chat. Is this your initial contact or do you have a case number?
You: Case number is 04971062
Daphne L. J: Please give me 3-5 minutes to pull up and review your case.
You: OK
Daphne L. J: Thank you.
You: I have a WRT1900 AC, V1. The router is not working properly. I have disconnections every few minutes.I already installed the new firmware version and I still have the same issues. I already reset the router to factory defaults and same issues. I have changed the settings back to my personal preferences: Changed the SSID, changed the wireless security settings, changed the DNS and deactivate WPS. That's it.I'm using 5 Ghz mode with my laptops (5 Ghz adapters) and 2-4 Ghz with a few devices (Chromecast, Nintendo 3DS).
Daphne L. J: Thank you for waiting.
Daphne L. J: Please confirm if the following information is correct:

You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: Okay. Were you able to check if the devices have stable connection wired to the router?
You: No. I do not have devices with Ethernet ports. Well, only the cable modem.
You: But the modem is fine. No disconnections from my ISP.
You: It is the router.
Daphne L. J: Alright. What is the current firmware version of your router?
You: I tried to return the router to Wal-Mart yesterday with no luck. This is a useless device. And I have been reading comments on the community forums and a lot of people are having problems.
Daphne L. J: We are actually aware of the issue and are working on a resolution. What is the current firmware version of your router?
You: Ver. 1.1.10.167514
You: Latest one.
Daphne L. J: Yes, so you reflashed the firmware, reset and then manually reconfigure it after, not using backup configuration, is that right?
You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: And it is intermittent on all devices connected to both 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks, is that right?
You: That's correct.
Daphne L. J: Thank you for the information. Please give ,e 3-5 minutes to verify this with my superior.
Daphne L. J: Thank you for waiting.

You: I do not want my current hardware.
You: It is useless for my needs.
You: I can't believe I had an older E3000 that didn't give me any problems.
Daphne L. J: We have already exhausted all possible troubleshooting steps for your concern. As verified with my Supervisor, we will forward your case to our Customer Assurance Team. And do you Cable or DSL connection?
You: Cable connection.
Daphne L. J: Who is your Internet Service Provider?
You: A company called .
You: How are they going to contact me?
Daphne L. J: Alright. By the way, on the device itself, on its FCC ID, please check if you have WRT1900AC or WRT1900AC v2.

You: I already told you it's V1.

Daphne L. J: Just in case, do you also have an alternate number?
Daphne L. J: Also, what time zone are you in? And what is your preferred time and day for them to contact you?

You: I work in Mexico but I have the house in USA. I live in the border.
Daphne L. J: I see. Do you have any other questions or clarifications?

Daphne L. J: Thank you for the information. Would that be all for now?
You: I want a clarification: Do you realize that there is an issue with the current WRT1900 AC? Are you aware of that?
You: Because this is a very expensive router that is not working as it should be.
Daphne L. J: Yes, we are aware of the issue and are working on a resolution.
Daphne L. J: Would there be anything else you need?
You: That would be it. I will wait for you to contact me.

For your reference, your case number is 04980394. Thank you for choosing Linksys and have a great day! We paid $250 for this piece of equipment. That's a lot of money for a device that doesn't work. I just want to get a V2 replacement, or better yet, an exchange for a EA8500. We should all demand this. It is not fair for us. The current WRT1900 AC is a useless device. There is laterally millions of WRT1900AC V1 out there with very few issues with latest firmwares and of course the odd exception. In your case it could be a defective WRT1900AC. -

I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

Photoshop CS2 will not work with RAW images in the Minolta DimAge A2. It use to work fine
I have used Photoshop CS 2 with my DimAge A2 for over 5 years in the RAW format. Now it will not work with RAW with my camera. I am using Vista 64.Any answers ? Thanks
It would seem to me that you have probably had to reinstall Photoshop CS 2. If that is the case, then you should download and install Camera Raw 3.7. The version that was on your install disk was updated several times. And one of those updates probably included support for your camera. Install ACR 3.7 and see if that helps.

My iPod does not work properly when plugged into the computer. How to fix?
I have a 4th generation 40 gigabyte iPod, non-color.
Today, I plugged it into my computer to update my playlists.
My iTunes and Windows were lagged down. Eventually, when things caught up, my iTunes didn't show my iPod as being connected. I looked in My Computer, and it didn't say iPod -- it said "Removable Disk". I couldn't disconnect my iPod via Windows, even using the Safely Remove Hardware didn't work.
After looking around here and trying things like Disk Mode and Resetting the iPod, nothing worked. I can't get the iPod to work with the iPod Updater so I can try restoring it.
I dunno really what to do. If it's a hardware problem, then I'm not going to bother to get it repaired, since the music that's currently on it plays perfectly fine still.
I just dunno what else to try.you basically are stuck. apple won't do crap for you. i went to the apple store today because my second ipod crashed (the first one they replaced) and they won't do anything for me and told me i had to buy a new one (2 in 1 1/2 years is what happened) so they wanted me to buy a third one when their product obviously *****. and the manager even basically admitted that the ipod that they claim is durable and relible isn't. that people go through 3-4 a year. the supposed "apple genius" told me to send it out to a third party repair. he wouldn't even look at it and lectured me for not getting the extended warranty. if you look at the website below and read you'll find that a lot of people got screwed over like me with the extended warranty;
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/apple_ipod.html
put it this way i won't go back to that apple store again or purchase another ipod. ill keep my piece of none working crap -
My copy of Photoshop still does not work properly, and support refuses to help me.
From my previous thread:
I can't actually get photoshop to go into the image editor. The program launches just fine, I can open up any dialogs such as preferences, but when I try to open something or start a new file, nothing happens. No error message either. If I click File -> New, I get the dialog to choose the dimensions, and then if I press OK, nothing happens. Same goes for opening something, if I press File -> Open (or anything similar, such as opening a recent file), I get the dialog to choose a file, and then nothing happens. I can only get it to work on the first launch after a system restart, if I close it and reopen it, there is a chance that it will break and I will have to restart my computer. I have attempted the following to fix it:
-Clear settings
-Reinstall
-Start new administrator profile
None of the above has worked, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
This has been going on since I've purchased it. I have tried many things, including uninstalling every program installed before photoshop (anything that could have possibly caused it to break). This problem even survived a hard drive reformatting, as I had the same issue on my previous OS. It works fine on my macbook, but my Windows 8 computer is the one I prefer to use, and that is the one photoshop doesn't work on. I have called support multiple times, and they kept telling me that they would escalate my problem, but they never actually tried anything new, and eventually they stopped responding to me. I am now on my own from support's help, as they have outright refused to help me. I posted a thread on the photoshop subreddit, and they told me to post here, which shortly after posting it was ignored. I cannot believe that this level of refusing to help can even exist in such a large company, and I'm seriously considering demanding a refund for my entire subscription as this is disregarding a major issue (which I apperently am not the only one, and the others are also being ignored by support). So, as a final attempt of actually fixing this, could someone please see if they know what to do?Welp, here's the dxdiag.

Character Spacing in Photoshop CC does not work properly
When I (as I have in Photoshop CS2,3,4,5,5.5 and 6) click in the letting menu and change the letting, it allows me to change it and then when I click enter, it jumps down to a completely different number. I set it to 200 and hit enter and it drop to 19. I change it to 200 again, it becomes 47.
I am runnning the updated version of CC on windows 7 64-bit.If you go to the photoshop forum you'll find a topic with the same issue that might help you. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link here.
Search for a topic called "text leading jumps the value super high"
Wish I could help more. -
I am a very amateur web designer, who is also very new to CSS, so please be gentle…
I am having a very frustrating issue with Firefox. My website is designed so that when my main menu navigation bar is too long for the screen, it automatically converts into a drop down menu. Naturally, this function is to better serve mobile and tablet devices.
This feature works perfectly on every browser except for Firefox. With Firefox, my main navigation menu bar is converted to a drop down menu, even though I am viewing it on a standard laptop, not a tablet or mobile device.
AND, as soon as I refresh the page, it displays just fine. And, as long as I don’t clear my history or cache, it will continue to display just fine.
Not a “huge” deal, but super annoying that new visitors to my site who are using Firefox get this experience as their first experience.
I have studied my CSS code for hours, searched through countless numbers of CSS forums for help, tweaked every bit of code I thought was relevant, and I am completely baffled.
I do realize that a simple JQuery is what tests the menu size, so it's probably something wrong there? Or maybe there is some sort of overstack issue occurring? Maybe not. Who knows – as I say, I am an amateur.
If anyone could look at my code and give me some help, I would be very appreciative.
My website is http://mikerylander.com
Thanks!
PS: This is the first time I’ve not been able to solve a CSS or HTML problem on my own, so hopefully the answer isn’t something ridiculously easy.I see the menu when the browser window is wider than about 1180px.<br />
If the window is smaller than I get the menu button.<br />
In Google Chrome this works the same.

It's not backing up... if I enter the time machine, all I see is a black page, any day I look, since the day I bought it.
Was not like this before Oct 25...
Any ideas on what's going on and what should I do to make it work again?Check the USB cable first to make sure that it is operating correctly on another connection.
You may need to use a powered USB hub with the drive since the USB port on the Time Capsule is not a high powered port like you have on your Mac.
You may need to use the powered hub even if the hard drive has its own external power supply. -
Iphone 4s meeting invitation not working properly also Siri in the UK not 100%!!
Hi,
I recently received an iPhone 4s and have been trying the Siri function out. First of all when I create a meeting I do the following...
Me - "Create a work meeting on Monday at 4pm"
Siri - "Ok, I have created your meeting"
Me - "Add *recipients name*
Siri - "Ok, I have made that change to your meeting. Shall I create that?"
Me - "Yes"
The meeting shows as - "Work meeting with *Recipients name*.
The meeting is sent to my friend via email and when they receive it, it says that they are the organiser and won't let them accept it!! This is a big fault I feel as I will need to use this feature whilst driving to work.
FYI - My friend is on Blackberry so I am not sure if this will affect it?
Also please can someone advise when Siri will be allowed to do searches like... "Where is London" or "what's the traffic like in Stoke" as at the moment it just says it can only do that in America... Again a big issue as it would be very handy whilst driving around for work!!
Other than these issues I think the 4s is fantastic
ThanksHave you tried "calibrating" it? To do that, use it until it dies completely, then let it sit for 5 hours. Plug it in and let it charge fully. Try that and see if it helps.
