To know which positions are included in a batch job

HI Experts,
We have a batch job (PFUD) which does a daily comparison for role assignment and other activities to be updated to the user's profile.
it runs daily at 10 o clock night.
consider a scenario where we have assigned a security role to a position at 9.59 pm.
We are not sure whether this position is picked up in the daily job(PFUD).
before the job completes, is there any possible way to find whether the job has picked this position for user comparison.
Can you please help me on this request?

is it possible to find whether a reconcillation has happened for user before the batch job completes its work.
(i.e) I have assigned the role to a position,I wanted to find whether this position(HR Organisational Management REconcillation) is picked in the batch job or not.
before the batch job completes the whole process.
(we can see the log only after the batch job completes... is there any way we can tell whether its picked up in the batch job or not... when the batch job is still running)
Is it possible?

If you want to to report on the performance of queries, data loads, aggeregate maintainence and compression you BW statistics functionality.
In order to utilize this delivered content, you must first install the business content. Once the business content has been properly installed, you can begin the data load process and begin analyzing performance data using BWs reporting tools.

Which c-series modules are compatible with Scan Mode?

OK, so I just wasted 4 hours.
I started a new Project with a need to use a 9220 analogue input card on a cRIO 9030, but immediately became stuck when I was unable to add the module using the right click Add New C-Series Module wizard to the 9030 chassis.
My first (and only) assumption was that this was a new card and I needed the latest Device Drivers. So I installed those.
When that failed I upgraded my LV2014 to LV2014 SP1, and also upgraded the Real-Time and FPGA modules too.
4 hours later, when that failed, I realised that maybe this isn't a card compatible with Scan Mode so began searching ni.com for information. I've searched a whole raft of terms and I just cannot find information on which modules are supported by Scan Mode (which is presumably nearly all of them). I know it exists somewhere because I one referred to it when I had an RS485 module that was only compatible in FPGA mode, about four years ago.
So:
1. Is there an easy way to determine if a C-Series module is compatible with Scan Mode? I still don't know!
2. Can we please have Scan Mode compatibility shown in the Add C-Seris Module Wizard. When attempting to add a module to a cRIO chassis, the wizard can hint to us that a particular module is not compatible. By not showing the 9220 in the drop down list I was led to believe the module was not a known device (and hence I attempted to upgrade my drivers). It would be better if the module was listed but disabled and not selectable, with some informational text to explain why. It's a fair assumption that a module will be compatible, so we don't expect it to not be listed when we attempt to add it. In fact, the possibility that some modules aren't compatible can evade your consciousness temporarily and make you do stupid things (like upgrade your installation!).
3. Can we please have Scan Mode compatability information put on each module's description page. That would have made this whole process much quicker.

Which modules can I avoid

In an effort to make sure my server is more secure, I'd like to disable which modules are enabled in Apache. However, I don't want to turn off anything critical. In case it helps: we use wikis, use virtual hosting for several sites, don't host e-mail, don't use/allow CGI, do have indexing turned off.
I've done some other basic things, such as change set the ServerTokens to Prod and turned ServerSignature off
Here are the modules currently enabled:

No one can tell you definitively what you can and can't remove. The whole reason these options are installed as modules is because everyone has different needs and not everyone wants/needs all the features.
A quick Google with each of the module names will give you details of what each module does. You will need to decide whether you want/need that particular feature.
Some likely candidates, though, include:
Anything with 'auth' in the name (e.g. 'authnfilemodule', 'authzhostmodule', 'appleauthmodule' and 'spnegoauthomodule'). These are all related to access control and authentication (e.g. the ability to control who can see what, using various username/password authentication methods). If you're not using any username/password-protected content on any of your sites you can disable these.
Anything with 'cache' in the name (e.g. 'cache_module', 'memcachemodule', 'diskcachemodule') are clearly related to caching. Caching can improve performance but many small sites don't experience sufficient benefit to worry. Conversely, high-traffic sites can overwhelm the cache and see little benefit, too. You can enable/disable them at will to see what, if any benefits you get.
logconfigmodule - if you're running any kind of logging you probably want this. For a truly high-performance site, though, disable all logging.
expires_module and headers_module are useful for manipulating HTTP headers, especially with regards to client-side caching. Any high-performance site is going to use these to ensure the maximum amount of content is cached client-side to reduce load on the server.
All the 'proxy_*' modules are related to running a proxy server (where Apache acts as a buffer or gateway to other services). If you're not running as a proxy, feel free to disable these.
'ssl_module' is clearly for SSL/HTTPS. If you're not running any SSL sites you can disable this.
Many other modules are pretty self-explanatory 'status_module' for tracking server status, 'cgi_module' for running CGIs, 'autoindex_module' for automatically creating directory indexes if one doesn't exist, 'php5_module' if you're running PHP and so on.
The only one I'd say you absolutely should not disable is hfsapplemodule. This manages HFS's case-preserving nature which runs counter to the traditional UNIX case-sensitive file systems.

Which is better Function modules or Include programs?

Hi,
I am working on an enhancement and it has lot of screens with a tree structure on the left. Now we are planning to have each screen to have its PAI/PBO and the processing logic to be in seperate include programs.
However in our team we have debate as to go in for include programs or for Function modules. The opinion here is that the program should not take long time to load if its going to be include programs.
Please suggest what approach is better, is it Function modules or include programs.
Any other suggestion is also welcome.

In this enhancement I have about 13 screens and has business logic in each. So if I go with each screens and business logic coding in seperate Function modules than includes under 1 function group is adviceable?
Using object oriented approach is really the best thing here, but however most of my team members are not welversed in OO concepts. The deadlines are very tight for grooming my team members as well.
My only concern is that with so much screens and business logic in 1 transaction should not bring down this programs performance when its executed.
Any other suggestions to keep in mind for this is appreciated.

How to determine which processes are using a module?

I want to find out which processes are using a kernel module.
However this info is shown neither with ``lsmod'' nor in
/sys/modules/<mod_name>/.
It's needed to reload certain modules which are acting buggy,
in a bash script. Right now I just keep a list of processes which
use the module and try to kill'em all, not exactly a beautiful
solution.
To work around it I compiled a kernel with
``CONFIG_MODULE_FORCE_UNLOAD=y'', however actually
trying to unload anything with this results in an unstable system.
Suggestions?

After successfully syncing the configuration database I ran the configuration compliance job once more, however with the same (misleading) results. Cross-checking the configuration reveals that none of the devices marked as compliant are actually having the "ip helper-address" configured.
Maybe it is something wrong with the input data I specified for the compliance template (ref step 1-6 in my first post)?
Or maybe the Compliance Jobs arent the best ways to determine whether or not my devices are having the "ip helper-address" configuration defined?

Go to characteristic relationship tab,click on detail icon on extreme left of the derivation,there you will get the name and the details of function module used for derivation.

Tables stored based on the Package that is how you save if you save under any package it will saved under that package. similarly Function module are saved with respect to Function Group.

Finally I found out the same about my subscription.It's PDF Pack, and it still works!
The only reason for using this product is to combine PDF files. For that purpose I think 490 NOK annually is a little too much.
Are ther other Acrobat services that does the trick for free or at a more reasonabel cost?

I would like to check if the needed drivers (one or both) are included in the installations CDs (netinstall / core).
