IN PRD --TCODE Present

Hi,
1.I had made changes to a role in the and tested it , moved it after sucessful testing in the QAS to the PRD.
2.The unchanged version of this role was already present in the PRD.
3. Last evening the changed role was moved to the PRD.
Today, the changes that was made is not reflected in the PRD ?
What are the possible reasons?
1. The role was not tranported sucessfully
2. The usermaster comparison has not taken pace ?.....any more ?/

Sorry, I don't understand. Are the changes there?
If the changes to the role aren't visible in PFCG in PRD then it will be a problem with the transport and easiest thing to do would be to re-transport from DEV.
If the changes are visible in PRD but user is still having a problem then do the user compare and get the user to run it again

Hi,
1. Go to SE16 --> table USOBT_C --> put object F_BKPF_BUP in the field "Object" --> execute without restriction. Download the list of TCodes.
Now go to Table AGR_TCODES --> put the list of TCodes (found with above method) in the field "Extended name" as multiple selection --> execute and download the list of roles.
Look up your list of 345 roles with this list. After matching, you need to sort out the TCodes present in this list of roles which is checking the object F_BKPF_BUP.
2. Now go to SU24.. go to option "Authorization Object" and NOT in the Transaction section.
Put the Object and execute.... go to change mode.... check the proposals for the TCodes you sorted at last step of point 1. Make the proposal Do Not Check where ever it is not so.
Move the Workbench Transport through Landscape. Your purpose will be done. But you should also keep in mind if the TCodes are present in other roles besides of your 345, those will become vulnerable.

Diffrence between AGR_1251,AGR_tcodes,SUIM for t-codes authorized by a role

Hi All,
I tried to find the t-codes in a given role, but the number of t-codes varied with all the three methods i.e., SUIM, AGR_1251 and agr_TCODES. I want to know why this difference is there and which is the correct method to follow?

The correct method to follow is either of the followings:
1. AGR_1251 -> Object = S_TCODE -> Execute with role name
2. SUIM -> Roles.. C S Criteria -> put object S_TCode and role name -> execute / put the field name TCD and role name end then execute
AGR_1251 shows all the TCodes present in the role in S_TCode objects ... all TCodes means: the TCodes which are present in the Menu + added in the role through a manually added S_TCode object (if any) + TCodes which are part of a Area Menu or Report Tree (if any) + TCodes which are coming as part of a report based Transaction .. for e.g. SUIM will pull S_BCE_ Tcodes etc. (if any)*
If you use only field TCD instead of S_TCode then it will give the Tcodes called by a Tcodes also and present in I_TCode object together with some other Objects containing the filed TCD.
AGR_TCodes shows the TCodes, Reports present in the Menu nodes of a role.
SUIM - roles by Transaction assignment also shows Tcodes present in the menu ... but depending on your release you should implement the correction Notes for SUIM as SAP has provided several corrections to the incorrect outputs of SUIM.
FYI: AGR_HIER table shows the full details of the Role menu.
AGR_CUSTOM gives the assignment of a Generated Project to a role with it's Tcode/report assignment.

Miro Tcode Executing Normal In QUAL But Processing Slow In PRD Server

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue when i execute the tcode MIRO it is working fine in quality server but when it comes to PRD it is taking time in retrieving data from the PO Reference tab. I had checked in SM50 tcode and observed that Report SAPLJ1I4 is accessing data from MSEG table.
I had verified the indexes of MSEG in QUAL and PRD both are same . We had done client copy in the beginning of this month.
Please provide some guidelines for it.

You might have a discussion with your basis team about reorg on MSEG, or update runstats, etc. This is really a question for that team.

Problem in importing request on PRD Server

Hi,
I am not a BASIS Guy and i am doing it on behalf of it. I had released the requets form Dev Client and then i am importing it to the PRD Server and i had used Tcode STMS in which there is field specified import request . I clicked over it and then specified the client i.e. PRD Server and then it gives the msg that IMPORT IS RUNNING .
It has been almost 40 minutes now and it is a single report which is taking a lot of time to import.
I had checked on the Cust & Development Client that it shows the request has been released successfully.
Is there anything which i am doing wrong ? Please guide me for it....

Custom TCODE-Auth Object Assignment

Hello All- I see a very weird thing with custom TCODE assignment, here is what I see:
1)We have Display role which has all functions tcodes in it, which goes to every one on PRD.
2)Usually we assign custom tcodes which are not critical to this role, and this custom tcode would have no auth objects assigned or checked during access.
3)When I assign custom tcode to test role, I see its not pulling auth objects in PFCG which is what I expected.
***4)However when I assign this custom tcode to 'Display role' which have many standard tcodes in it, I see many of the auth objects "lights turning in to Yellow" (as you know its asking me to maintain value)
5)I checked in SU24/SU22, to see if its pulling any auth objects...no objects are tied to this tcode.
I dont know why this is happening?
Again if I assign to test role, no objects is showing up in PFCG which is what I want!
Any suggestions of to handle this issue, I will really appreciate your thoughts.

This is happening not because of the Custom TCodes you have added. The reason are either of the following:
1. In previous cases when some other TCodes (SAP Standard) were added, the the profile regeneration was not carried out by entering Authorization data through "Expert Mode for Profile Generation" (or used with option "Edit Old Status" only). Instead, "Change Authorization Data" was used. And thus the Object proposals for New entries in Menu were not pulled into Profile Generator at that time. Now it's coming. Surely you entered with Expert Mode for Profile Generation --> Read Old status and Merge with New data.
2. Other option can be: Earlier some Objects were changed which were present there only with "Standard" status. It should have been done by copying the Object and change the copied one. Then make the standard one "Inactive".
3. The Inactive Object described in the 2nd point has been Deleted and the object with status "Changed" is left only. Now when you are entering with "Expert Mode for Profile Generation" it's pulling those standard proposals again.
Let me know if the probable reason of Yellow traffic lights are clear to you or need more details.

Open and close posting period authorization control TCODE: S_ALR_87003642

Is there any chance to control the user to open and close another company code posting period variant in TCODE: S_ALR_87003642.
In our system we are using the same client for different countries. So user can able to change the other country company code posting periods.
We would like to control either on the country (or) organizational unit(company code) (or) posting period variant so that user can only open/close their country / company code posting periods.
Our present authorization role for open and close posting period contain the auth.Obj. : S_TABU_DIS.
Please share your knowledge if you come across this problem..

Error While selecting Layout option in tcode SFP

Hi
I am getting the below error when i select the layout option in tcode SFP.
Could not start Layout Designer (see long text)
Message no. FPUIFB086
Diagnosis
The forms design tool for developing the form layout could not be started; either it is not installed or there are errors in the installation.
Procedure
Make sure that you have the forms design tool installed on your desktop (the tool is part of the SAPGUI installation).
Also read SAP Note 801524.
How to resolve this error?

This note describes two possible installation procedures:

Direct installation on the workstation
Product: "SAP Interactive Forms" - "Adobe LiveCycle Designer"
              Start "ALDsetup. exe" directly on your workstation. If you had already installed an older version of "Adobe Designer 6.0" using "SAP GUI" or "SAP NetWeaver Development Studio", you first need to delete the older "Forms Design Tool" version in the corresponding installation.

If you have integrated an SAP GUI installation server with

Error to install Add-On BI Content (TCode SAINT)

I am trying to install "BI Content" from Tx SAINT but I get the following message
The installation was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase CHECK_REQUIREMENTS, which the Add-On Installation Tool is unable to
resolve without your input.
After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the import by choosing Continue in the queue display.

Not how to solve this problem in order to complete the installation, someone can give me some information about it.
I do not have any connected system, I have just finished installing "BW"
I'm doing at the moment the same configuration, so that they can the Client Copy and then connect with R3
check the "TCode RSA7" and this is empty, which may be more?
I do not want to have to reinstall.
This installation was done on a machine that was running BW 7, but due to problems blocking accounts are uninstall. It was possible to make a new facility but presents the problem that leaves no install "Business Intelligence Content 7.03" I'm doing as the "Note 916834 - BI_CONT 7.03: Installation and upgrade information" through the "TCode SAINT", but achieving do this does not help anything installation.
The operating system is Windows 2003 Server and the database SQL Server 2000!!

Try reset the queue status then delete the queue. I think you can use SPAM for this, not sure if SAINT has the ability to do it.
Aftewards, try:
1. Lock all users in your system, cycle the system to ensure all users are logged off.
2. Disable the batch user as well, to make sure no jobs are running.
3. Backup the input buffer file (should bein the trans\buffer folder). After backing up the file, delete the file.
4. Goto STMS and check the import buffer, press F5. The buffer should be empty now.
5. Return to SAINT and reimport the component, it should be successful now.

Create Transaction (of CRM system) as Receiver thru "RSBBS" TCode for query

Hello,
My requirement is to Jump to a SAP-CRM transaction from a BEx query.
Thru TCode : RSBBS, I selected "TRANSACTION" as receiver of a query, then I selected "CROCLNT002" as the source, then in the Report field I gave the SAP-CRM Transaction "crmd_order" and selected OK.
Then, I tried to execute the query thru Web, On the Context Menu's 'Go To' property, I clicked on the Transaction, It gives me the following errors:
"No Web server maintained for the presentation of log. system CROCLNT002"
"Jump target cannot be executed"
" An error occurred with the report to report interface during the jump"
Do I need to execute some other steps also in order for this to function smoothly. Thanks to help me in understanding the loop hole.

Sumita,
This is 'coz your CRM client CR0CLNT002 might be a WINGUI and not a WEBGUI interface. CRM does provide a WEBGUI for its CRM 4.0 or later if you need to be jump to a transaction from Web report.
You can jump to a WINGUI from a BEx report as an alternative. So you will have to make a choice.

When i saw some of the forums i understood that IDSYST is the user group for my query but i am unable to trace such user group in SQ01.

Previously 401 client is there but at present it is not there .How can you justify it that it is 401 client.
As 401 client data is moved to someother client is it the problem why i am not able to find query??

Created a material and want to post by using tcode mb1c, not allowing.?

friends i have a problem here, i created a material for my sales order. i wanted to post like 100 of them in my storage location. so i used tcode mb1c, entered the storage location , plant along with the movment type 561 . it goes in and there i enter the material and and the number to be posted (number of materials) .while saving it it gives the error ."posting period 008 2007 is not open" i had earlier encounterd with error saying some previous dates were closed and i used to closed the previous periods by tcode mmpv and bring it to the present date. but this is the first time when i am seeing that the present period is closed . . i tried with omsy and mmrv also. but i dont know what to do now. how can i open current months posting. i am in sd. dont have much idea about what mm guys do. please help .

In general, after creating ES, Cstmr,Matrl we need to execute MMPV before posting material. But in your case the periods are already closed, could be bcz some FICO consultant might have worked on it. But in order to resolve your problem u give a try to following prcdr.
Go to TCode OB52 [Posting Periods] and in the EIGHT column under heading YEAR change it to 2007 for the ROW "+"[Account Type]. Then proceed to MB1C.
In addition to this U may come across No. Range issue for which U uses TCode-FBN1; here for the current Yr. [2007] U have to give the No. Range for the interval appearing in the Error, eg 49,50,51...
Still if the problem persists consult a FICO for some alterations on the same screen [TCode-OB52].

Runtime error while executing Tcode FAGLL03

Hello experts
we have 2 clients in PRD
100,200
In 100 if i execute the tcode FAGLL03 it is showing the line items within 100 sec.
where as in 200 if i execute FAGLL03 it is showing runtime error.
if this executed in background it takes 1300 sec and finished successfully.
From basis perspective what would be the issue.

If you want to know, for a given table, which transaction/program(s) will create a new record, there is no easy procedure, other than to refer to experts who deal with these programs.
It is possible to get a list of programs that refer to a table. SE11, select the table, select the 'where-used' icon, select programs, execute. You will be presented with a list of programs that read or write to that table. From that list you would have to determine which one(s) create records, using your ABAP skills. From those selected programs you would have to find which, if any, had a transaction assigned.
Many tables are updated by more than one program/transaction. Many other tables are not updated by ANY interactive transaction.
If you ever decide to go ahead with this research, make sure you publish it. You could probably make yourself a bit of money.
