We are using the version ECC6.0. I want the authorisation of "revoke close" for some of the users only. Is it possible? If yes, what exactly is the authorisation object.I did not find any object as SAP-Security.
Is it possible to control it by any user exit.

Instead, the scheduling finish date is automatically saving on Sep 25, 2009 (i am using a Backwards scheduling). You can changes the settings in OPU3 and also you can do it in CO03.
If you want to restrict the user for backward scheduling except for some cases then you can do this in CO03 other wise it is better to do it in OPU3 transaction. Both cases you need to enter max days for back dated scheduling.
For doing it is CO03 follow the pat from order header data screen.

Order>>settings->scheduling parameters.

Performance Issue, Unable to pull all production Orders in given statuses
HI All,
I have a requirement to pull all production orders that are in the created or released status and then action some different things in the program such as adjusting dates, etc. The issue I'm having is that as the volume of production orders grows the select statement stops being able to complete and pull these production orders. I've tweaked this before and it was able to work for a few weeks but has now reached it's limit again. I tried using the trace and SE30 to analyze the program as I've read suggested here, however it's been difficult to try adjustments as the program runs in about 3 second in the development environment. Our quality environment, which has roughly half the volume of the production system ran in about 15 seconds. So I am unable to duplicate the issue until the program is moved to production.
Here is the select statement:

There are a couple thoughts I have to try, but I don't know of any good way to verify if helping given the volume differences until in production so am looking for feedback. Here's the ideas:
1. Use the field IDAT2 in AUFK to determine if an order is not TECO'd , rather than using the JEST table. Testing this in Dev had increased run time versus how I have it written now, but may be helpful with larger volume and/or if an index is put on this field. Thoughts?
2. Separate the select statements to read AUFK and JEST separately and instead use the FOR ALL ENTRIES command. Seems to be a lot of conflicting thoughts on which works better, thoughts on this particular case?
Also, there is another program that pulls only production orders in Created status, and it doesn't have this same issue.

1) Assuming that fields AUART and KOKRS are always known (constants) I recommend that you move them up in the where clause (like illustrated) to ensure that the system uses index C.
2) AUTYP EQ '10' seems superflous. In addition it seems to increase the search time. Check with your functional consultant if there could be a production order with AUART EQ 'PP01' and AUTYP NE '10'. If you will never encounter this situation it makes more sense to drop the clause AUTYP EQ '10'.
3) INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE usually takes longer than INTO TABLE. Define the table with AUFK with just field AUFNR so that you can use the clause INTO TABLE.

Import Production orders with released status
We are using DTW to import production orders. It allows to import as "planned" status only and not as as "released status". We have hundreds of production orders per day and its a pain to update each production order to "released" status so that it can be available for reciepts from production and thereafter after recieving the items, changing each and every production order to "closed". Please advice

(4)Cancelled :-> boposCancelled

Closing a production order in the previous financial period.
Hello All,
I am hoping somebody can help me with a Production order question. We have recently upgraded to SBO 2005a SP18, I know, just catching up
we have an issue when closing Production Orders at the end of the financial period. Assume that the period end is on the Sunday (end of period 2), The production from the Friday does not get booked into the system until the Monday morning (next period, period 3).
We can adjust the date of the production receipts and bookings on the Monday morning to show as a posting date of the Friday (period 2) but when we close the production order the there seems to be no way of closing it in the previous period (period 2), the transactions get posted in the current period.
We have played with the changing the periods but our testing so far has been without success.

Using standard SAP when we create a standard Prod order, say for 100 units. The status is defaulted to planned. we then change the status to released. once released we have an addon that we use to book production.
The addon uses the production receipt and issue as well as other stock positngs all against the production order. At any point in time we can see how many units have been completed and what componenents have been issued against an order.
once the order is complete we change the staus manually from released to closed. this process then generated a whole bag of journal entries. It is these journal entries I need in the previous period if I am in to the new period.
Our SAP parteners say that the only way to do this with the addon is to reverse all of the journals created when closing the Prod order and re-create them in previous period but this would be a significant cost to us.

Two production orders at the header level one for one single requirement
Hi Gurus, Please provide me your valuable suggestion on the issue.
*Client wants to have a only two production orders at the header level one for one single requirement .*
1) Manufacturing Order u2013 In this order for Finsihed prodcut system should pick all the assemblies whcih are manufactured inside i.e depending on the material type.\
2) Assembly order u2013 In this order system should pick all the assemblies whicih need to be assembled also procured or subcontracted items in this order against depending on the material type.
It means for Sales order of 5 EA there is going to be only 2 order ( MFG & assy order).
For Example.
L45-7000 is the header material now client wants only two production orders one Manufacture order and anothe Assmebly order , thet dont want to use Phantom assembly concept and also multiple production orders for SFG.
Please confirm if this requirement can be mapped in SAP ?

As soon as each order is related to only one material, if your manufactured (or purchased) assemblies are of different materials, you will have a separate order for each material rather than a single order for all manufactured assemblies. I don't thing all your assemblies are of the same material - thus I would say no, it is not possible to map your requirement.

Set Production Order to Release status

Im trying to add a new production order through the DI API. Im using SAP 2005A SP01 PL 07. Im creating it from a sales order. But if I try to set the status of the Production Order to Release I get a -5002 error. If I set the status as Planned it works fine. Ive also tried creating it, and setting to released after the Production order has been added, which doesnt work either. Is there a rule for changing a Production order to Release that Im missing? The reason you attempt did not work could be if you did not do the GetByKey. This is needed since an Add just add the data to the database, but does not ready the just added object for continued work (does not provide the docEntry and other autofilled data)

Costing the production order for the configured material
We are trying to cost the production order for a configurable item. But the system is not calculating any cost in the production order. Sales order related to this configurable material is costed. What additional setting I need to cost the production order for the configured material ?

If your SO is costed, thats enough from a System's perspective... Planned cost will be the sales order cost estimate because SO saves the Chars required for the Configurable material
Planned cost in Prod order depends on the Costing variant you have assigned in the order type... Check the error log if there is any error in cost calculation in prod order

My Wifi doesn´t work. The Wifi icon on top menu bar states there is no hardware connected. How can I resolve this as previously Wifi connection worked perfectly. Is this something that to do with the computer hardware? Please advise.

I am trying to authorise a new computer. Apple's instructions are to select "Authorise this computer" from the itunes store menu. I can't find this in any menu. Can you please help? How do I authorise my computer?

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.

How do i customize the states in a vertical menu bar?
i see that it is possible to change the states for a horizontal venu bar, but i can't get it to work for the vertical one. please tell me we can edit the states in a vertical menu bar.
valerieYes, you've hit a bug in Muse, that will be fixed in the next release.
The bug happens when you have a gradient fill for the default state, but no gradient fill for your other state. The vertical menu has this look by default. You can work around it by removing the gradient in the default state, or adding a gradient for the other states. -
Why is there a small blue dot next to the wifi icon in my menu bar?
I just noticed today the small blue dot to the bottom right of the wifi icon in my menu bar. It was not there since I bought the macbook a couple of days ago. Just noticed it a couple of hours ago. Does anybody know what it means? Everything works fine with the wifi connection and the computer in general.
